Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

Hi all!
I had my booking appt yesterday and just waiting for a scan date now, did the scan appt come through the post or were you contacted? It's all different this time around to me (my last pregnancy was in the thick of covid restrictions)

I was called for my booking appt and then sent a letter a few days later for the scan (Sussex area) my booking will be around 9 weeks and the scan 12 exactly

My midwife did my referral for the scan at my booking appointment and my scan appointment showed on the app later that day for when I'm 12 weeks + 2days

Thank you, this has definitely helped. It's a shame it's Saturday - my hospitals antenatal ward is Mon - Fri. Guess I'll give a chase on Monday, in my 9th week.

I've just been for my private scan at 9w 3days and unfortunately I've miscarried again. We are absolutely gutted and heartbroken.

I'll be leaving this group now but sending you all positive pregnancy and baby vibes. Thank you for all of the support this time.

Stupid question ladies. Had my early scan.. which one of these things is the baby? I didn't really get seeing it on the monitor as they really struggled to get a good image as it was very blurry. The look kinda similar to me and this is my first pregnancy so I can't really tell what is what and they never really pointed it out.

@ExpectantEs the bloods and checks need to be done before 10 weeks. I would call the Midwives asap.

I managed to eat all my cravings today. We headed to Brummy for Xmas market and jad Mr Pretzels, bubble Tea and chicken Shawarma. Feeling great no nausea apart feom the car journey. My Boobs are so sore and back aches.

First private scan - wow that felt surreal! measured at 13.4mm which they said was right for 7w 5d and we saw the heartbeat! So weird but amazing! It still hasn’t quite sunk in yet…when does it!?

For me a little bit when I felt her moving - roughly 20 weeks? But in reality she's 20 months and I still have to pinch myself 😂 I'm 6 weeks with no.2 and finding second time around no less mind boggling!

Hey guys, I had my private scan last week when I was 8 weeks 2 days. I recently showed my mum my scan picture and she noticed a black spot on the baby’s head? I didn’t really notice it before but now worried as I’ve never seen this before in scan pics. Has anyone come across this before? Does anyone know what it could be

Hi all, 7w, 3d here with second baby. First was born in June 2022 and I suffered badly with morning sickness from week 6-17. This time, it has started 2 weeks early, and has peaked 2 weeks early. Anyone know why this would be?! I know you can’t compare two pregnancies but seems odd (and unfair, as I sit here having been sick twice today, and have had a piece of peanut butter on toast for tea that I ate very very slowly over an hour and still want to throw it up).

just wanted to pass on an absolute life saver tip that I learnt off here last time for anyone struggling with sickness and nausea. Ice lolly’s!!! They are amazing as stopping the feeling, I eat 5-8 per night as they genuinely stop me feeling sick. Tonight I ate them whilst eating my toast so that I could keep something down. Hydrating too!

so thankful to be part of this group 🙂

Hi everyone!

I thought I would join here since I see some familiar friends from the ttc threads.

I'm 5 weeks 5 days into my first pregnancy and due for my first scan on the 12th. I'm not sure what my exact due date is but the pregnancy apps say July 30th - August 2nd.
Symptom-wise, I've been having cramps, nothing else. My doctor has given me some medication for that.

How's everyone doing!?
