Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

@MoonstoneAndRoseQuartz I am 4w4d. I have read a lot of women don't really get much until 6-8 weeks, and others gets stuff super early. It is mildly concerning for me that it's all I have. So I know how you feel!

SarahBee87 · 23/11/2023 16:30

I'm now 7 weeks and 2 days - I had a terrible cold last week which I think masked my symptoms because this week I feel really nauseous. I'm at a point where I don't fancy anything to eat. I make myself something and can't eat it. I haven't actually been sick yet but the feeling is constantly there.

In terms of getting pregnant in Nov, I think it's a great month. I've always wanted a summer baby as I love having my birthday in summer personally. I never struggled academically so I'm not concerned about them being one of the youngest. :-)

Forest1234 · 23/11/2023 16:34

@Oatmilktea postives are perhaps being able to share the news with family around Christmas? Definitely better weather for birthdays! How childcare funding works currently, there’s will fall in line with the academic year.

Savvy21 · 23/11/2023 16:49

@Oatmilktea I think it is cheaper as they don't have to be in nursery for another year. I've known some really clever people born in July and August so I don't think it really matters. Just instill a good work ethic and they'll be fine😂.

hopingfor23 · 23/11/2023 17:00

@Livingthechaoticdream hello and congrats! Not quite a close a gap as yours but I have a 10 month old and still on mat leave and still breast feeding! This pregnancy was very much hoped for as it took us a long time to get our 10 month old so we were beyond shocked to get pregnant so quickly especially with breast feeding I've only got my period back last month!

I think the age gap will be lovely but hard work 🙈🙈🙈🙈 I'm feeling the benefit of not being in work this time when I feel so sick but having a very mobile 10 month old is kicking my arse I won't lie 😂😂😂😂

Lisao86 · 23/11/2023 17:49

Ugh well into 6w and had sore boobs for weeks which I can cope with, but the nausea for the past 10 days or so is something else. I’m grateful I’ve not actually been sick, but god I feel constantly rough!!

bringmearainbow · 23/11/2023 18:54

Cold apple juice is hitting the spot atm 👌🏼 im struggling with the nausea it's constant and I just don't want anything to eat but if I don't force myself to eat something it makes it 100% worse 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m similar here we struggled to conceive our 7 month old, I’m also still bf and only had my first period in October lol. Definitely glad not to be working at the moment!

rdr15 · 23/11/2023 19:17

Hello I'm 6 weeks 5 days due approx 14/7/24. I have a 9 year old, 7 year and a 16 month old currently and I get married in January 🙈 this was an unexpected pregnancy so not necessarily unwanted but I'm struggling with accepting atm. Anyone else feel similar?!

KM8 · 23/11/2023 19:20

@MoonstoneAndRoseQuartz full blown symptoms today.....dizziness and almost fainted at work....I've ended up telling my boss! Been tough today! Xx

Forest1234 · 23/11/2023 19:40

@hopingfor23 @Livingthechaoticdream not quite the same as my little one is over 2, but took us ages to pregnant with our first too, stopped breastfeeding a week later was pregnant. Bit of a shock, but a good one. There will be pro’s and cons to all age gaps over the years, and just think how long you get to be off work 😆

MummyBear2519 · 23/11/2023 19:40

The only way I can describe it to my oh is feeling constantly hungover and wanting to be sick but not actually being sick. It got even worse in the car as I was the passenger so going to be the one driving everywhere for the time being. I know it will pass soon but hiding it is getting harder

Lisao86 · 23/11/2023 20:16

It’s comforting to know others are struggling with the nausea too! When does it end… another 5 weeks of this will be horrendous 😩
It’s so hard feeling so rough but trying to stay quiet. I feel sorry for my husband who just keeps hearing me complaining!!

Vittoriosa · 23/11/2023 21:38

missmoosh · 23/11/2023 15:35

@MoonstoneAndRoseQuartz I started to get a lot of trapped wind, followed by an embarrassing amount of burping yesterday. Which has continued today anytime I eat. (had to get my husband to burp me like a baby this morning!!!!) other than that nothing lol

Edited

Same!!! I look do bloated and about 6 months pregnant…I’m only 6 weeks 😭

Hello, I am feeling similar and same due date!! I have a 9 year old and nearly 11 year old. This baby is a surprise and whilst we are happy I’m also apprehensive about lots of things including money and a fear of going “back” to the tough baby years. I keep telling myself it will be worth it though. I think not really telling anyone yet doesn’t help either with the sinking in! I have booked 8 week 2 day scan on 4 dec…i think that might be when it sinks in all being well

Jadeandblue · 23/11/2023 22:00

Oh my god I'm so excited, had a reassurance scan at 7 weeks today and saw a perfect bean with a heartbeat ❤️ it finally feels real. Due date should be 11th July.

rdr15 · 23/11/2023 22:04

@Vittoriosa we haven't really told anyone either, I don't feel I'm ready to yet. Don't think it will really sink in for me till the 12 week scan. For what it's worth when I had my 16 month old, my older two were so good with her and so helpful so it's nice having that larger age gap.

trebuvie · 23/11/2023 23:10

Is anyone else having their first?

Lisao86 · 24/11/2023 06:44

I am!

bringmearainbow · 24/11/2023 06:46

@Jadeandblue ahhh so exciting lovely clear scan pic!

@Jadeandblue oh how amazing!!! I wish I could fast-forward time to my reassurance scan! You must be over the moon!

User491 · 24/11/2023 07:44

Morning everyone,

Does anyone have any advice with BBT?
I'm 5+2 today, the day I tested clear blue was showing 1-2 weeks, last Friday 2-3 and I did another yesterday hoping for 3+ but it still said 2-3. I've ordered another pack which arrive later today 🙈
I wasn't too concerned about the tests as I've got sore boobs, a little nauseous at times and was just trying to remain positive.
But my temp has been quite high, and today it's dropped from 37.01c to 36.66c, only ever slightly above coverline and now I'm worried 😭
I kept my wee in a pot from this morning, can i use that to test later?

missmoosh · 24/11/2023 07:55

@User491 i don't think your supposed to continue checking bbt after you have confirmed pregnancy? I think it can vary a lot still. You can defo keep your pot until later to test 😊 also I did some research around the weeks indicator on clear blue and they are really not that accurate! So I wouldn't put too much into what it says if it's not 3+, some women never get it!

Vittoriosa · 24/11/2023 09:36

Congratulations!! ♥️
