Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

@missmoosh thats good you have things sorted so your supported.
This is my 2nd baby so expecting less contact which I am fine about. But just like to know when as we have plans on 3 weeks so going to chase it up tomorrow.

@MummyBear2519 you're very dedicated. I don't think I could hide it especially with the kids. I told my 2 year old right away 😂 and I am constantly talking about baby with him.

@trebuvie well according to the NHS guidelines as soon as you get a positive to call up snd get registered. I am 5W 1D. Contacted them on Friday morning they said they will call back with my midwife in the week.

MummyBear2519 · 21/11/2023 21:08

@MixedCouple this is my first with my oh. My youngest just turned 10 and eldest is 14 so really starting all over again. Very nervous for their reaction when they find out. We will be telling them after the 12 week scan though. Pretty sure they just think I’m being really lazy 😂
The private 8 week one is mainly for our reassurance before the 2 of us travel for a Christmas market weekend which involves flying.

Outliers · 21/11/2023 22:01

4+3 today. Nausea hit a little hard yesterday, actually threw up from the smell of burning plastic (cooking error).

Been back in the gym and I think exercise has helped counter the fatigue. Though nothing is more tiring than my 18months old's sleep regression 😅

Having a tooth removed tomorrow 😭

squidlady · 22/11/2023 05:46

Hello!! Can I join please? 4w 6d with second baby, due July 27th! Still in shock as it only took four months and our first took 13 months… and obviously mega anxious it won’t stick! Already sooo nauseous and not sleeping past 4:30am - whooop! How is everyone today?

squidlady · 22/11/2023 05:54

Also is there a Facebook link? The FB group I joined from MN with my first was my total lifeline and I still post on it all the time! I saw a link back in the thread but think it’s expired!

trebuvie · 22/11/2023 07:50

Alright. Filled out a self-referral to the maternity unit at my local hospital. Realised I'm still registered at my old GP from before I moved which is miles away - guess I'll have to get that sorted soon too! Already feeling a bit on the back foot!

Forest1234 · 22/11/2023 07:51

@Oatmilktea @squidlady totally agree with it being a lifeline but can’t for the life of me get the link to work 😩 tried on a pc and phone. Says my request is in and awaiting approval but been ages so not sure if anyone can manually add me perhaps please?

missmoosh · 22/11/2023 07:52

When did everyones symptoms properly start kicking in? 4+3 today and other than the very occasional bout of mild nausea, I have nothing at all. My boob's aren't even sore!!

trebuvie · 22/11/2023 08:10

@missmoosh 5+1 today and I have no symptoms other than sore boobs which I've had for about 3 days now. I'm a total baby when it comes to sickness so definitely not looking forward to nausea!

Actually I have also had a strange hot/searing twinge in the middle of my back for the last week or two. I am 97% sure this is completely unrelated but the mind plays tricks on you 😅

missmoosh · 22/11/2023 08:15

@trebuvie okay so probably just a little too soon then for me! I now it's silly and symptoms don't necessarily mean all is well, but it would offer some reassurance in my head. Having tried for such a long time, I think I have gone into anxiety mode. Not helped by every programme I watch/other threads I have been on, people are all miscarrying and it's just increasing my fears! Sorry panic message over...

bringmearainbow · 22/11/2023 09:13

@missmoosh my symptoms didn't really kick off properly until about 6+2

@bringmearainbow that is reassuring for me, thank you!! Think I need to give my head a wobble and relax a bit 😂

bringmearainbow · 22/11/2023 09:39

@missmoosh enjoy the moment of hardly any because they are kicking my butt atm 😂 I was feeling really good at about 5 weeks and thought I might escape them this pregnancy was the funniest joke I told myself 🤡

@bringmearainbow hahaha oh bless you! Yeah I'm trying to eat what I can now, and enjoy all the things I probably won't want when it all hits!

Forest1234 · 22/11/2023 12:21

@missmoosh I don’t think I even knew I was pregnant at 4+3,l. Week 7 has been the worst for me so far 🥴 No sore boobs here either (but I was still breastfeeding the same month I fell pregnant so maybe that’s why 🤷‍♀️) Maybe you’ll have a smooth run of it 🤞 but still early days

missmoosh · 22/11/2023 13:05

@Forest1234 thats reassuring thank you! I have a date for my booking appointment so that's made me feel better as well! 8th December so not too long to wait!

FigandHoney · 22/11/2023 13:23

@missmoosh currently 5weeks2days. And Mt only symptoms are tender boobs and fatigue in the evening. Plus some burping. I was sensitive to smells at the start but that has gone. It does worry me.
But I try to remind myself it was the same last time with my son. I was worried he wasn't really there / hopeful I would escape the morning sickness. However it hit me if I remember correctly at around 6 and a half weeks.

Oatmilktea · 22/11/2023 13:32

I have the most horrendous cold and have had to leave the office to work from home (straight to bed with the laptop!). Im feeling pretty miserable as my boobs are super sore plus getting waves of nausea after eating.

My booking appointment isn’t until I’m 11+5! I’m glad I’m booked in for a private early scan at 8 weeks for some reassurance

missmoosh · 22/11/2023 13:46

@FigandHoney sounds similar to me other than my boobs are all good! I have read a lot of people get nothing until about 6 weeks. I suffer from chronic fatigue anyway so I wouldn't notice the difference for that 😅

@Oatmilktea sorry to hear you aren't feeling very well! Also can't believe your booking appointment is when your 11+5!! That's insane!

trebuvie · 22/11/2023 13:59

I take it back, does being very emotional count as a symptom? Just nearly burst into tears in front of my boss because I let something slip, low-priority and all fine but I just want to yell at him "your work problems pale into insignificance compared to I'M HAVING A BABY" hahaha

Macccc · 22/11/2023 14:03

Anyone who’s had a scan around 7 weeks at EPU did you need a full bladder? Just got my appointment through but doesn’t say either way!

soscarlet · 22/11/2023 14:41

Macccc · 22/11/2023 14:03

Empty bladder for internal scan, full for abdominal. It’ll probably be internal at 7 weeks - mine is.

Forest1234 · 22/11/2023 14:44

Had booking appointment today 😬 private scan this week, all starting to feel more real

Oatmilktea · 22/11/2023 14:50

@missmoosh i know! I was still in shock at having a BFP when I booked the appointment that I didn’t think to question how far away it is. I do live in a city and with Christmas coming up I suppose appointments may be limited.

@trebuvie bless you! I would say that’s a symptom. How many weeks are you? I burst out crying at a TikTok of a baby laughing the other day haha
