Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

The CB weeks digitals can be seriously unreliable and cause a lot of worry. The threshold for 3+ weeks in theory is around 2700 but in testing only a very small percentage of tests at that level show as 3+ weeks they don't become very accurate at showing 3+ weeks until the level is something crazy like 7000. There's an article circulating around about it. I don't do them anymore for this reason they just cause stress at a time you really don't need it. I think they are banned in the USA

Just got my booking appointment for late November!

FigandHoney · 09/11/2023 16:21

At what point do you call your GP? On the NHS website it Sat's as soon as you find out. But I haven't even yet missed my period.

You can self refer when you've had a positive. Personally I'd wait until after my missed period as it can't be that far away?

I self referred at 5w1d just as I'd then done the research into which hospital trust I wanted to be with etc. I now have an appt for a few weeks time.

bringmearainbow · 09/11/2023 17:30

Got my booking appointment for 23rd nov and my scan for 28th dec let's hope I make it to both of those 🤞🏼

@Kate9423 yes that makes sense. AF due this weekend or latest Monday. So will wait until then. Hopefully she stays away

MrsHousePlant · 09/11/2023 17:46

@FigandHoney I’m not very consistent at going to the gym 😂 I think even if you go and do some low impact walking on a treadmill, cycling or the cross trainer it’s all worthwhile 😊

I called the midwife service in my area at the end of last week, two days after my positive test (and my period was due). I did it after seeing on here about wanting to get in for scans around Christmas time!

KM8 · 09/11/2023 18:04

I'm only 4 weeks and 5 days.....but I am so bloated! I kept thinking today at work surely people are going to notice 😳 with my first I wasn't bloated this early!

Any one else feeling this?

MummyBear2519 · 09/11/2023 18:13

@KM8 I think it’s my boobs that are going to give me away. I’ve already had a few comments. I’ve easily gone up 2 bra sizes in the past 2 weeks! They are so swollen and sore.
Big winter jumpers are the way forward for me

KM8 · 09/11/2023 18:16

@Blackberry95 oooh congratulations! I also have 14th July as my due date x

I'm 5w2d and I've been bloated for 2 weeks solid. I can't breathe in 😂
My Mum has just gone home after a week so I can finally let it out and not hide away!

bringmearainbow · 09/11/2023 19:36

Bloating is the worst im just happy it's bagger jumper season 😂

I am so bloated! I definitely feel it's happened quicker this time too. Going to have to rethink my christmas party outfit options for something that will hide the bloat/boobs!

Summertime1992 · 09/11/2023 20:20

I have my booking in appintment 4th December. We are booking a scan for the end of November just for reassurance after my miscarriage.

I too have been very bloated (also eating loads as so hungry) my work clothes are uncomfortable at the moment.

Other side effects are sore breasts, constipation and heart burn which is a good sign for high hormone levels at least. I didnt have them before my miscarriage but suffered with them when I was pregnant with my daughter.

Cookiemonster19 · 09/11/2023 20:21

Hi :)

hoping I can join this thread! I got an official positive test yesterday but didn’t realise I had had a positive on Monday when I tested ( I threw away the test thinking it was negative, didn’t wait the full amount of time). I fished the rest out of the bin yesterday to compare the positive to the negative and was very surprised 🙈
I had a gut instinct that I may pregnant as I’ve had a huge craving for chilli, restless legs and very vivid dreams!!
This was not a planned pregnancy, a very big accident and surprise but I am happy now that it’s had a bit of time to sink in.
I’m 27, married, and this will be our third baby.
My lines are still faint but my period isn’t due until Saturday or Sunday.
I think my due date will be around the 20th July?
Anybody else have a similar due date? 😊^^

Due July 24
Maier123 · 09/11/2023 21:20

Hello Ladies!

I'm here after 2 missed MC in the last year and now clinging onto this positive test 🌈 ❤️ Due 7th July. Sending love and positive thoughts to everyone x

FigandHoney · 09/11/2023 21:32

@Cookiemonster19 yes we have a similar due date. I should be due around the 22nd of July. Also waiting for AF to be late this weekend.
Currently having some cramping which us stressing me. But I did have it in the pregnancy with my son

ELJ1502 · 09/11/2023 22:06

@Cookiemonster19 congratulations! I’m the 18th according to the apps 😬

I think these are really good lines for so early. :)

Cookiemonster19 · 09/11/2023 22:51

@FigandHoney oooo exciting! I’ve had a lot of cramping too, I had some at the end of last week which I assumed was my period coming as I get cramps for around a week before I come on! Sucks, I know ☹️
But im guessing that could have been implantation?
Im getting really achy cramps and a lot of back pain too. One of my main symptoms is running to pee all the time! 😵‍💫 im dreading the sickness, I had hyperemesis with my previous pregnancy and I’m praying I don’t get it again. How’s your symptoms been?

@ELJ1502 Thank you! Is this your first baby?
yeah I was surprised at how prominent they were considering these were cheap b&m tests and I was at least 5-6 days before my period when the first test was taken (the bottom test In the pic)
and the second test was yesterday around 12pm!

ELJ1502 · 09/11/2023 23:04

@Cookiemonster19 will hopefully be our second. We have a DD who will be 4 next month.

It feels like such a long time ago that it all feels new again. I remember bits of the feelings but still completely on edge with every twinge. I’m definitely more nervous this time. 🙈

How are you feeling?

Notjustafurmum · 10/11/2023 08:43

@Cookiemonster19 were due around the same day!
My period is due on Sunday but have had positive and symptoms the past week!

Cookiemonster19 · 10/11/2023 09:19

@ELJ1502 Awwww! It’s normal to be nervous but you’ll be fine! I feel like I’ve forgotten so much but my youngest is only 3, will be almost 4 when the baby is due though! I had a full lockdown pregnancy so I’m excited to have a normal experience.
I’m okay apart from the constant need to pee 😫 I’ve been getting a wave of exhaustion during the kids bedtime (7-7:30) and I’ve fallen asleep with them a few times 🙈 other than that I’m just awaiting the nausea and sickness 😵‍💫🤓

@Notjustafurmum Congratulations!! How are you feeling?! Is this your first baby?

Does anybody know if it’s normal to have such bad restless legs this early on?! My legs are in so much pain already! This happened my previous pregnancy too 😩

Does anybody else have a strong feeling with the gender? I have an extremely strong feeling and gut instinct that it’s a girl but obviously I may be wrong.

Ewbo2024 · 10/11/2023 09:23

@bringmearainbow Finally got a response from my GP - she's sending me for repeat bloods on Monday. Is that of any benefit being nearly a week apart though? I think she's just doing it for my peace of mind more than anything, which I appreciate but don't want to waste NHS resources if not worthwhile etc

Glad to hear you've got you dates, that's exciting 🤞🤞🤞 for you, hoping all will be well.
I haven't got any dates sorted yet, apparently need to decide which hospital I want to deliver in and then appointments will be sorted.

Anyone have any recommendations for where to deliver? I am in Buckinghamshire, close to Beaconsfield.
I'd like to avoid Wexham as 2 relatives passed away there recently and it would bring back painful memories.

Congratulations to all the new ladies that have joined too! 🎊

bringmearainbow · 10/11/2023 09:52

@Ewbo2024 how odd of them to send you a week later 🙈 I would go you can work out what it should roughly be a week later if it doubles every 48hours though I think once you've hit 6 weeks it slows down a bit which is why they don't bother blood testing around that time and you can see what you need to on a scan at that point. How far along are you now?

SarahBee87 · 10/11/2023 09:58

Hi everyone, I found out I was pregnant just over 2 weeks ago and am currently 5 weeks and 3 days. This will be my first baby and I am 36. It was our third month TTC so feeling very lucky considering my age.

We have a scan booked next week on the NHS due to quite bad cramping last week that woke me up a couple of times so hoping everything is okay. Trying not to get too excited yet due to the many hurdles you need to get through in the first 12 weeks.

Keep thinking I have no symptoms but then I'm waking up every night at about 2/3 and then awake for a few hours, ridiculously tired by 3/4pm, going to the toilet a lot, sometimes constipated and sore boobs on and off and never sure about what to eat. I'm also starting to feel like I want cold drinks and fruit. No food aversions, metallic taste or nausea yet.

I have had a 3+ on a digital which is reassuring so we'll see! I'm a tutor so it would be perfect timing as we would just be breaking for the 6 week holidays - I'm due on the 10th July.
