Ladies…. Is anyone else’s baby breach right now and kicking living hell out of your cervix and even sometimes feels like your bum??!! 🤣🤣 it’s the most strange feeling and makes me feel almost queasy!!
it felt like they’d moved a few days ago and the kicks/punches got higher but the little bugger seems to have gone right back down in my pelvis - it feels like their trying to burrow out!! 🫣🫣 sooo uncomfortable! Been tempted to do shoulder and head stands to get them to move their butt out of mine 🤣🤣🫣🫣

@CheeseAndCrackersx I'm just catching up with the thread. I am also rhesus negative, first pregnancy. The NHS has some useful info online. I had it all explained earlier because I had to have additional early anti-D due to bleeding. As others have said, they tested baby's blood too - it's because baby is positive that I needed the anti-D.

CharXo · 04/11/2023 08:25

@Kelb79 I think mine still might be! Same as you a couple of days ago he had moved higher but now it’s really low movement again and I’m constantly needing a wee as soon as he starts moving!

User0224 · 04/11/2023 08:35

We’ll be sticking with a cot for our first born, she’ll only be 20/21 months when new baby comes. And she’s far too bad a sleeper for me to trust her with bars down 😂 but, like with my first born I plan to keep new baby in with me for the first 8-9 months, so we’re a long way off needing to think about shared cot/bed spaces x

CheeseAndCrackersx · 04/11/2023 09:32

Ah @MrsW9 my midwife said we won't know the babies blood type til birth and they test the placenta so having the anti d just incase.
I think my nhs trust is very behind with the times tbh.

Cheetocat · 04/11/2023 11:18

We had a scan of baby's heart with a specialist yesterday, I don't really know why but I think they do it for everyone here. It just took five minutes and they checked that the blood was flowing in the right direction, they checked that they could see the aorta and that all four chambers were formed. They couldn't get a good view of any tiny details because baby was curled up at the top of the uterus but they are happy with knowing there are zero visible abnormalities and if there was anything off it would be extremely tiny.

Was this your 20 week scan? everyone should hopefully have this is part of the anomaly scan with the NHS.

redxlondon · 04/11/2023 11:26

I also had this again at 25 weeks as part of a growth scan.

MrsW9 · 04/11/2023 13:02

@CheeseAndCrackersx Interesting to hear - clearly different for different trusts!

Cheetocat · 04/11/2023 13:22

@redxlondon No, I already had my 20 week scan, I am 25 weeks today and it was something separate yesterday and was scheduled before I had the 20 week scan.

FTMCHD · 04/11/2023 16:24

Hi everyone, this week has been tough. We attended a growth scan with Fetal medicine and discovered that both twins have Fetal growth restriction due to placental insufficiency. I’m just trying to process it as it seems so cruel that it’s happened to both twins with separate placentas. We’ll be having scans every two weeks ( will be upped to every week if there’s more deterioration) and have been told that every day counts now 😔
The only plus side is that we’ve made it to viability.

CheeseAndCrackersx · 04/11/2023 16:48

Sending you big hugs @FTMCHD xx

Foreverhoping33 · 05/11/2023 15:33

@FTMCHD im so sorry to read you update I hope you are doing ok!
we also got bad news at our 20week scan and told our baby has a congenital heart disease and will need surgery in first 2 weeks of being born and we won’t be discharged from hospital before it happens. This is our first baby and an ivf pregnancy so feels doubly unfair tbh.

I definitely found the first week of getting the news the hardest but after the processing it gets easier and better to know now and make plans than have it all come as a surprise. Modern medicine is amazing these days.

Stay strong and count every extra day and week as a bonus! You are doing amazingly. Sending lots of love. Xxxxx

FTMCHD · 05/11/2023 15:43

@CheeseAndCrackersx thank you xx

FTMCHD · 05/11/2023 15:51

@Foreverhoping33 Thank you, I’m sure in few days once it’s sunk in I’ll be ok!

Also I hope this will make you feel better but I suffer from complex congenital heart disease (somehow was undetected until I turned 7 months!) and for the most part I’ve lived a normal life (just some major operations along the way!) with the advances in medicine I’m sure your baby will be great and well cared for💖

I think that’s why I’m so upset as with my heart condition we had to go through preconception counselling and started off as high risk pregnancy, then twins were added to the mix and now this. Just feels like I can’t enjoy the pregnancy at all 😔

Sams86 · 05/11/2023 23:06

Im A negative. I had the Anti D 5 years ago prior to baby and when my little boy was born as he was A positive like my hubby. Booked in for Anti D again start of Dec. No blood test for me so guess will find out when baby born whats their blood group
Dont worry about it. They have to give you injections as it can impact future pregnancy without it xx

Sending love @FTMCHD and @Foreverhoping33 hope you're both okay. It's amazing what they can do now, and the NICUs are also brilliant. So sorry you're having this stress though

CheeseAndCrackersx · 06/11/2023 08:40

How many times are you ladies waking up for a wee in the night?
I was up 3 times last night. I'm hoping it's just cos I had a pint of squash about half 9/10 and not linked to GD 🙈

Ihatewinding · 06/11/2023 09:30

@CheeseAndCrackersx I have found a solution to my night wees! Basically limit water after teatime but have a cup of hot chocolate (though I prefer mine cold) around 8.

I don't know if it digests as food instead of liquid but keeps me hydrated and noticed when I have it I can wait until at least 6 despite frequent wakes with pelvic pain which would usually prompt me to get up and go for a wee.

I make it with green and blacks non sweetened cocoa powder and a bit of Stevia so less unhealthy as having every night 😅 a plain glass of milk might do the same tbf! The squash likely played a part though, especially if blackcurrant as it contains a natural diuretic?

Cheetocat · 06/11/2023 10:26

I often wake up every two or three hours when I'm properly hydrated but waking up to pee has been a constant throughout my life so I'm not too concerned even if it's very annoying. Last night I fell asleep at 1am and was up to wee at 3 and 6.

DmcinT · 06/11/2023 16:59

@CheeseAndCrackersx i find some nights I’m up 2 or 3 times and other nights not at all. I’ll wake thirsty and having to pee so on those nights I deff have a concern for GD🙈 I’m in on Thursday for my test so we’ll see soon enough. I hear the drink is really sugary🙈 I absolutely hate sugar/sugary things so I’m dreading it. ill prob just puke it up 😬

I found myself feeling very heavy in work today, anyone getting a low down heavy feeling?

LavenderSweetPea · 06/11/2023 17:25

I'm only getting up once a night, but tbh I often did pre pregnancy but it's definitely more urgent now than it was!

@DmcinT yes! I've had a really 'heavy' day today and I found myself getting really stressed of like there's three more months and it's not going to get easier. Fortunately have pulled myself together mentally but I can tell it's going to be a hard slog in the third trimester.

Anyone else found time has been dragging a bit? the first couple of months went in a flash really but it's felt like a year since the 20w scan

FTMCHD · 06/11/2023 18:36

@DmcinT I had my GD test today and the drink has changed recently, it tasted like a watered down capri sun and wasn’t bad at all. You have 5-10 mins to drink it so can take it slowly too!

FTMCHD · 06/11/2023 18:39

@DmcinT For reference, this is the drink I had 😊

Due February 2024 Thread 5!! 🤰🩷💙
DmcinT · 06/11/2023 21:23

@FTMCHD oh I’ll be delighted if mine is similar, I’m still quite sick so the thoughts of drinking or eating something sugary makes me feel ill 🤢 I’ve always preferred savoury foods but even more so now. Anyone else still sick? I can’t imagine this will leave me in the last few weeks now but who knows.

@LavenderSweetPea im hoping the heaviness isn’t permanent now and might only come on us an odd day 🤞🏽 Or is that wishful thinking 😅 I think the students thought I was going into labour at different points today, I’d to sit down alot 😂😂😂
