Tentatively seeing if anyone else is due then yet?

I got a positive digital this morning and based on Ovulation I'd be due 30th April and 2nd May based on LMP, but until the dating scan that could easily change a week either way based on previous babies!

On another note I’m wondering if anyone can help… We were planning on asking our sonographer to put baby’s gender in an envelope for us (just on a scrap of paper) as my mum was going to make us a little cake to cut privately. However I’ve had a couple of people tell us the NHS won’t do this, only private places will? Appreciate it may differ place to place but don’t know if anyone else here has any experience of this! TIA!

I wouldn’t worry about movements yet. I have days of lots of flutters and days with nothing. With my first u hadn’t felt anything until long after the scan due to placenta position.

@HopeAndChocolate I think that’s unlikely. It’s a medical scan with primary focus being on checking organs are developing correctly, also, they don’t always get it right so I don’t think they would write it down in case used against them. Even at a private one you’ll probably find you have to sign something with terms and conditions….

i don't think i've felt the baby yet.
i have my 20week scan next week.

anyone else in and out of hospital. they have called my in 3 times this weeks for checks. kidney and liver checks / blood pressure. it's starting to make me feel a bit nervous!

we did hear baby's heart beat last week, so hopefully it's just me (38) not the baby xx

@barbiecharley1 sorry to hear that, did they spot something in your blood results to trigger the additional checks? It’s good they are being so thorough! I have PGP and been referred to physio.

@lenalove oh no, you too! Mkne is lower back mainly, I can’t do much walking now as I end up limping.

Hi everyone thought I'd pop back on to see how everyone is doing!

I'm 19+4 today, due date was moved from 3rd may to 30th April.

Private scan showed I'm having my 4th girl haha looks like I'm just meant to be a girl mama... But she's healthy and that's amazing.

I've felt movement since 15 weeks and I feel full on kicks now... I think she has super long legs lol.

Fingers crossed for everyone 🤞

I do think my due date should be may still because I tracked ovulation, always been a tracker of this, and I also have severe ovulation pain and I know I didn't ovulate 1 week before.. So I'm adamant I'm sticking to may baby 🤣

This time I'm also practicing hypnobirthing.... After less than ideal births and my last one being quite horrific I decided to take control! And now I'm very excited to give birth I definitely recommend reading up on hypnobirthing or watching videos girls... Its not what it sounds like it's basic science 🤞❤️

@Kellyaust i posted a link further up for a course by the positive birth company. Very cheap. I had an incredible birth but wouldn’t have without doing it as it taught me so much about hormones, staying calm, UFO, etc.

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all OK!

Finally today, was my 20 week scan! Well worth the wait! Little lady is cooking nicely and all is well! I am so relieved!

My flutters have started to become much more obvious movements now too, but still jsut for me, they can't be seen or felt by others yet! Is anyone getting this yet? X

PGP is getting me down. I’ve had to cancel lots of plans because I can’t cope with the physical activity.

Have you tried a bump band? I had this from really early on but the band has helped sooooo much!!

Aw so happy for you @GLC789! I had my 20 week scan last week and found out we’re having a boy! Still getting my head around it if I’m honest as I feel like I have so little experience of boys compared to girls. 😅

I’m the same as you, I can certainly feel more going on in there. I wouldn’t say I’ve had a ‘kick’ yet though but it’s all so new to me that I have no idea! Don’t think other people typically can feel baby until 20-24 weeks so hopefully sometime soon for us! x

So glad the 20 week scans are going well. I have mine on Friday. Happy it’s before Christmas. I am getting kicks now. The odd time you can see it. That’s new to me as my placenta was anterior on my last pregnancy!
