Tentatively seeing if anyone else is due then yet?

I got a positive digital this morning and based on Ovulation I'd be due 30th April and 2nd May based on LMP, but until the dating scan that could easily change a week either way based on previous babies!

Amazing, thanks ladies! @Robbo29 @Plumful @Bourne90 @ttcthoughts

GLC789 · 04/10/2023 15:54

As we're talking about the boobs.

Anyone else here very small breasted (until now)?

I was a 34 b cup before conception.

No idea what I am, now at 9.3 weeks but I certainly AM NOT A B! I also need to get some bras I think but not sure if I'm just wasting my time atm. Will I need to her new bras every month or so? 😂😂.

Currently resorting to spots bras - but it's not a good look under work wear! X

Bourne90 · 04/10/2023 17:42

I was 32C, D at 5 weeks, DD at 7, E at 11, F at 21, and then FF when my milk came in. I bought two bras each time I went up a size (the tatiana ones from Boux), which worked well for once I stopped breastfeeding and I started going down sizes again. Almost got back to DD in a year, but now back up to F again lol.

I'd wholehearted recommend getting fitted and buying bras you actually like regularly, as it makes the whole pregnancy journey a lot more comfortable and a lot less miserable!

lenalove · 04/10/2023 19:41

I wish my boobs had started off small, I'm usually a 34E and I'm dreading them expanding! I'm living in these super soft wireless bras from Tu but they don't offer much support/look crap under anything smart Confused

GLC789 · 04/10/2023 23:52

@lenalove @Bourne90 thank you for the advice! Perhaps I just have to bit the bullet and get all the bras along the way! 😂.

At least jumper season is fast approaching so I can hide anything that isn't glamorous under those 👀😂 x

Irish34 · 05/10/2023 09:05

I am dreading the boob growth. I can see it starting already. I am a DD normally and when I was pregnant the last time they became as big as my head! I couldn’t wait for them to return to a more normal size. Also all the weight I am putting on his hitting my hips so I am starting to look like a blimp!

GLC789 · 05/10/2023 15:46

@Irish34 oh gosh!

I actually haven't gained any weight yet at 9.4 weeks but that's purely because I'm suffering so much with food aversions. I was getting proper stressed about it until Midwife assured me that this will pass and I'll be hungry soon.

Atm I'm just force feeding myself to survive but it's a miserable event at all meal times.

I'm excited for the day that food is nice again! X

Irish34 · 05/10/2023 18:20

@GLC789 i dropped weight the first few weeks I was so sick but I have to eat or I get worse. I don’t want anything but carbs so I am up on the scales now. It’s not ideal. I lost all the weight and more after my first 2 years ago but only because I was getting married so I had serious motivation.

i am in the US next week so I am worried how much I will have gained when I get back.

GLC789 · 05/10/2023 19:20

@Irish34 i can understand the way you feel but honestly, the main thing is you're feeding your body with energy and providing your baby with it's needs.

I'm looking forward to being able to embrace some decent grub - even if it is carbs carbs and more carbs.

Don't stress. X

Plumful · 07/10/2023 17:38

I’m so so tired. Keep falling asleep whenever I sit down on the sofa. Really looking forward to the first trimester being over.

Same here! I've been having two naps a day 😂 xx

Nearly there!!!!

Plumful · 07/10/2023 21:16

I have a toddler so can’t take it as easy as I’d like to.

Oh gosh you poor thing! You must be run off your feet bless! Sending you some energy vibes! Xx

Plumful · 08/10/2023 17:41

I feel like I’ve wasted the whole weekend napping on the sofa when I can, I haven’t had the energy to go out!!

Nynm23 · 08/10/2023 18:18

@Plumful if it’s any consolation, I’ve spent 5 days (annual leave) doing the exact same thing. Barely crossed the door!

Plumful · 08/10/2023 19:07

Such a shame with the nice weather but I’m actually not feeling sociable at all. I just want to be on my own. Glad to hear I’m not alone.

lenalove · 08/10/2023 19:56

@Plumful I hear you - I was sociable earlier today but it has absolutely drained me, I feel like I could sleep for days now Confused

On another note, has anyone else noticed excessive body hair growth since being pregnant Blush I've always been quite hairy but it's really picked up, I just had to tweeze my chin and my thighs are out of control! Is this normal!?

HopeAndChocolate · 09/10/2023 07:21

How are you getting on @Kellyaust? Have you had your 12 week scan yet? x

GLC789 · 09/10/2023 16:19

@lenalove yes on the body hair front!! It's everywhere!

lenalove · 09/10/2023 16:54

@GLC789 phew not just me then!! It's quite unbelievable, I am really banking on it all falling out again postpartum (or I will be spending my life waxing and shaving haha!)

Typically head hair showing no signs of thickening...! 🙄

GLC789 · 09/10/2023 17:06

@lenalove same. No head hair glory so far 😂😂😂 how rude! X

Nynm23 · 11/10/2023 09:25

Girls I’m 11+3 today and my symptoms are getting worse. I feel like death daily, sick once or twice a day, but headache, tiredness and nausea constantly. I keep thinking I can get through a day at work but I’m barely doing a half day. Would this warrant taking time off sick? I hate taking time off and feel so guilty but I feel useless!

lenalove · 11/10/2023 10:01

@Nynm23 so sorry to hear you're feeling so awful! Have you told work yet that you're pregnant? I had to tell mine last week as I was just so unwell - I am glad I did because it now means I can do things like come in late and leave early on days when I'm in the office. I definitely think it warrants time off sick if you're unable to function! Maybe have a chat with your GP, but a couple of days off to rest could be beneficial xx

Plumful · 11/10/2023 10:57

@Nynm23 if I were you I’d tell work because pregnant related sickness is counted differently. No point suffering like this when your manager can hopefully make it a more supportive working environment while you’re feeling rough. I told mine a couple of weeks ago and have mainly been working from home to avoid commuting.

Nynm23 · 11/10/2023 14:20

@lenalove @Plumful I’ve told work and I’ve been working from home but I’m barely out of bed. My job isn’t difficult per se but it does require brain power which is zero right now. I just feel totally useless being online.
