Tentatively seeing if anyone else is due then yet?

I got a positive digital this morning and based on Ovulation I'd be due 30th April and 2nd May based on LMP, but until the dating scan that could easily change a week either way based on previous babies!

Bit the bullet and called the GP. Key tones in urine and a UTI.

Prescription for UTI and Buccostem for anti sickness.

Lesson learned - if you’re feeling rotten, don’t suffer in silence!

@lenalove @GLC789 thanks girls. Managed to keep my dinner down, get a 8 hour kip and up early this morning to get my antisickness into me ahead of my 12 week scan! Excited and nervous in equal measure

My extreme hunger and feeling sick has completely gone. I’d hardly know I was pregnant except my breasts feel sore and kind of lumpy? Not sure how else to describe it. Hope all is okay.

@Plumful my nausea has gone too! And as you know I was suffering with food aversions, but today I've eaten normal! And it's been OK.

Could this we the glow finally coming? X

Hi Ladies. I am 10 weeks today and just noticed that I had some pinkish/ brown discharge when I went to the toilet. Totally freaking out. Had a scan at 8 weeks and saw a heartbeat so don’t know what to think!

I did just do a 2 hour flight so thought it could be to do with that but shouldn’t really right? Please give me some positive thoughts x

@UnicornRainbow2 spotting isn’t necessarily anything to worry about, lots of women have it and their babies are fine. I would call the early pregnancy unit though and let them know as they might invite you in for a scan to check all is well.

Go along to EPU but 2/3rds of early spotting is a healthy pregnancy (just body cleaning out the old blood from implantation etc.) If you've seen the heartbeat you've got like 98% ish chance of not having a miscarriage. So the odds are stacked in your favour.

How is everyone feeling. I am just back from 4 days in San Fransisco and the tracel has killed me. 11 weeks today and still feeling crap. I have my scan and booking appointment on Tuesday I should be 12 weeks today but measuring 11 so I am going with that. When will the sickness leave me be!!

Thankyou. Will have to see how it goes today I guess. Nothing this morning but then started with the brown again. Not much but there. I did have the same when I found out so didn’t think I’d have it again so that’s what is worrying me.

I had bleeding at 6 weeks with my daughter, was intermittently there til week 11! They thought it was to do with her implanting and growing into a particularly blood vessel rich area. She's a great baby, so it didn't affect her 🤣 scared me witless though til it stopped!

@Plumful my nausea is about 70% better too! My only real symptom is exhaustion but I'll take that any day over feeling sick!

Scan went all good, baby moving and wriggling away. Measuring 12w2 days today so dates moved out again.

booking appointment has put me into low risk which is great news as have all birthing options open. A lot of info in booking app, was difficult to keep on track of everything they told me, but they’ve give me big book of everything I need to know so I can use for my evening reading.

I’m actually not even feeling that tired, I’m 11 weeks now though, I don’t feel pregnant at all and hope all is ok. My first pregnancy was the total opposite!

I'm feeling 'not pregnant' too at 11 weeks today. This is my first ever pregnancy so I've nothing to compare it to.

I've been going out of my mind today tbh 😔 x

I have been thinking back to my 1st pregnancy and I keep saying to my husband I wasn’t as sick last time. I had the odd bit of nausea but that was it. This time I feel bad half if not all of the day every day. I am having serious stomach issues. It’s actually freaking me out that I feel so unwell this time.

@Irish34 Could it be that baby is a different sex? Perhaps hormones/hormone levels are different? I dunno, could be old wives tales though just musing. Hope you start to feel better soon. The anti sickness have been a game changer for me - actually feel human again!

@Plumful glad you’re feeling better, the glow must be on its way!

@GLC789 not too long to wait to your scan!

@UnicornRainbow2 hope the bleeding has settled. But if not, at my booking app the midwives says they treat all bleeding as abnormal so to get in touch with them asap so they can check all ok. Do you have a drop in centre at your maternity hospital?

Hope you’re doing ok@GLC789! I think sometimes we have to remind ourselves that every woman, pregnancy and baby is different and you could just be going through a calm period. I know a lot of my symptoms have definitely subsided but I’m hoping that’s a positive of moving into the second trimester in a few weeks. I get it though, It’s just so hard at this point when you can’t feel movement to check everything is ok! How long till your scan again? Mine is Wednesday. Will only obviously be 11 weeks + 3 days so hoping it’s not too early!

I’m feeling similar @Plumful! My sickness eased a lot last week and symptoms have definitely eased on the whole too which I’m trying to take as a win rather than be scared. Think it helps my ‘12 weeks scan’ is actually at 11 weeks 3 days though so we can have a good check!

Haha I think the glow is total BS. I feel like I look really rough! My scan is in a week. @Irish34 it sounds like you and me have had the same experience of two pregnancies, just the other way round.

I have my 12 weeks scan tomorrow. I am expecting baby to be measuring 11weeks3 as it’s been measuring a week behind. I do think maybe this time I am having a boy. I had a girl on my first.

this may be TMI but I have even started leaking colostrum. It seems crazy early to me for any of that! I was in San Fransisco for 3 days last week so the travel hasn’t helped my levels of exhaustion and sickness. I am praying the second trimester glow finds me soon!
