Tentatively seeing if anyone else is due then yet?

I got a positive digital this morning and based on Ovulation I'd be due 30th April and 2nd May based on LMP, but until the dating scan that could easily change a week either way based on previous babies!

8 weeks today for me! I have days where I feel fine and then others when I have nausea all day (like today) or a couple of rounds of morning sickness. Also have a big aversion to beef and anything with strong smells.

Private early scan on Wednesday which I’m excited about, even though I know we won’t see much with baby currently being a jelly baby. 😅

Have a two day work event tomorrow which involves two four hour trains and lots of socialising plus a wedding on Friday and I’m feeling nervous about navigating any possibly symptoms without letting on that we’re expecting. 😬

Same for me on the time!

Yay for us! It feels like a milestone doesn't it? Food aversion for me - pretty much all meat 😭😂.

You'll be surprised at what you will see at 8 weeks in your scan. I was very surprised at mine which was a week ago now.

Good luck on your work events and socials. I feel your pain. I've had to fake 'getting over a recent tummy bug' at work recently 😂.

@HopeAndChocolate omg me too! A select few of my loved ones keep telling me that 'the glow' comes in the second trimester! I'm so ready for it! I just want to be able to fleece a ham sandwich without being terrified it's going to revisit me later 😂😂 xx

I am 9weeks+1 but measuring 8weeks+1. Nausea all day and Jesus the tiredness is kicking my ass. My poor toddler is now saying “mummy’s sick” non stop. Can wait to be past 12 weeks.

@Plumful i feel ya! I’m lucky I work from home, I def wouldn’t be able for the office feeling like this. But I am looking forward to being able to explain my crappy work performance the last few weeks 😂

@Plumful one of my colleagues guessed already because I turned down a roast beef canape at an event and apparently look "quite rough" 😅

@Twinkles18 I was debating it NGL. If i wasn't off yesterday for my scan I probably would of.

I might go off tomorrow if i still feel rough though

@ttcthoughts oh how did your scan go🥰 I physically felt like I was experiencing the worst hangover of my life yesterday lol didn’t have once ounce of sickness with my DD so it’s just crazy lol today it’s calmed a little but took the day for good measure..plus I hate my job atm 😂😂 counting the days to maternity leave

felt ok yesterday but cried a lot now im feeling awful! I need my bed

Sending love to all who are feeling rough atm. Me too! 8+3 today.

Just had a call from my midwife. Booking appointment is scheduled for 2nd October! Will be just over 9 weeks. So glad that's finally booked. The waiting has been agonising 👀 x
