Tentatively seeing if anyone else is due then yet?

I got a positive digital this morning and based on Ovulation I'd be due 30th April and 2nd May based on LMP, but until the dating scan that could easily change a week either way based on previous babies!

Hi everyone can I join? Due 28th April :) had a scan yesterday as I was a bit concerned about no symptoms! (I know...ridiculous thing to be worried about!). Measuring at 7wks 6 days which keeps due date the same :)

Hope everyone is feeling okay! X

Nynm23 · 17/09/2023 07:31

Welcome due date buddy @ThelastRolo20 😁

Plumful · 17/09/2023 08:36

Does anyone know the earliest week you can have an ultrasound? I don’t want a transvaginal

Irish34 · 17/09/2023 09:02

@Plumful i had an abdominal on my last pregnancy at around 9 weeks. Any reason you don’t want transvaginal? I have had a few transvaginal and they are not painful.

bringmearainbow · 17/09/2023 09:07

@Plumful I've had an abdominal at 8 weeks before at a private place. Tbh I much prefer a tv scan you don't have to fill up your bladder for it 😂

Cinai · 17/09/2023 09:10

Thank you @Plumful and @EstieGreenwood! My left sided pain stopped yesterday, so I think I worried for nothing as usual. 😅 I need to learn to be more relaxed on this journey.

Plumful · 17/09/2023 09:39

I’ve had them before and it feels more invasive, I don’t want to go too early because I see so many threads on here about people agonising over the results at week six or whatever but I might go after my booking appt which is just a little over nine weeks

Plumful · 17/09/2023 09:43

I suppose what I’m (perhaps irrationally) trying to say is if it can’t be done on an ultrasound I feel it’s too early for me.

lenalove · 17/09/2023 12:21

@Plumful I think by 7 wks they can usually do abdominal, at least that's what the sonographer said to me yesterday!

GLC789 · 17/09/2023 13:55

Hi everyone

I has my transvaginal scan this morning.

First things first, it was absolutely FINE. the probe only goes in an inch or two! It was perfectly comfortable and my dignity was protected!

All is as it should be. Little bean is there! With a lovely little visible heartbeat. I am so delighted!

Cheers guys should be fine by nine then

If its any help, I was given both options today at 7w at private scan.

It was completely my choice to have the TV but they would have done either.

It's what you are comfortable with at the end of day xxx

EstieGreenwood · 17/09/2023 17:09

After an early loss in April I am SO grateful to be pregnant. But, at 8 weeks, I was not prepared for how horrid I’d feel. The nausea and exhaustion and sore boobs are one thing, but it’s my sense of smell that has me retching! I have to wake my poor husband up several times a night to tell him to roll over so I don’t smell his rank breath. I’ve never smelled his breath even once before now!

I can smell every thing in the fridge the moment it’s opened, even from upstairs. Do not get me started on the bath mat. Does this go away?!?!

lenalove · 17/09/2023 18:37

@GLC789 lovely news!! X

lenalove · 17/09/2023 18:38

@EstieGreenwood I totally agree re the sense of smell, it's a nightmare! Coffee is my worst trigger I absolutely can't stand the smell of it now. Washing up dirty plates also bad. I walk around the house holding my breath Confused

HopeAndChocolate · 17/09/2023 19:10

Oh how lovely to see @GLC789 - thank you for sharing! And were you measuring 7 weeks as expected?

ThelastRolo20 · 17/09/2023 20:06

Thanks @Nynm23 :) how are you feeling?

EstieGreenwood · 17/09/2023 20:27

@lenalove Totally - I thought it would be so difficult not to drink coffee, but luckily not…

GLC789 · 17/09/2023 20:54

@HopeAndChocolate thank you, I'm really delighted. I needed this for my own sanity.

Not quite but close enough at 6+4. But I am convinced I'm 7. It's only 3 days difference so I'm going with 7 😂😂. X

lenalove · 17/09/2023 21:07

@GLC789 I was wondering why I measured 3 days behind too but it looks like different sonographers use different benchmarks and they're sooo tiny at this stage there's literally millimetres in it! X

EstieGreenwood · 17/09/2023 21:17

@Cinai It’s so hard not to worry about every little thing! I just keep telling myself ‘As far as I know, I’m pregnant right now’ which helps. ❤️

GLC789 · 17/09/2023 21:19

@lenalove so glad it's not just me! I don't think i am overly Concerned over it but the fact I'm not alone makes it even more reassuring xxx

Iamcatmum · 18/09/2023 09:51

How is everyone doing?
Bit worried over here about lack of symptoms - I had quite a bit of nausea week 6-7, but it’s not been too bad the last few days or so. I don’t really have any other symptoms (I’m 8+3 now). Anyone else have minimal symptoms?

Plumful · 18/09/2023 10:06

@Iamcatmum I am way better than last time. We just have to ride it out I think!!!

Nynm23 · 18/09/2023 10:15

@ThelastRolo20 @Iamcatmum im really gaggy today with a headache but was totally fine yesterday. So up and down with symptoms.
