Tentatively seeing if anyone else is due then yet?

I got a positive digital this morning and based on Ovulation I'd be due 30th April and 2nd May based on LMP, but until the dating scan that could easily change a week either way based on previous babies!

Hi All,

FTM joining here, due date of May 13th as well like a few of you!

Had feint lines on 9 and 10 dpo on cheapies from boots, did a CB early digital on 11dpo and came back pregnant and then did a CB dated digital on 12dpo and came back 2-3 weeks which I think is good as shows my HCG has gone up enough to move into 2-3 weeks and not be in 1-2 weeks.

Symptom wise I’ve been bloated and had a stuffy nose as well as a small cramp every now and then. Yesterday morning when wiping I had a small tinge of pink to my CM which looking on here is nothing to worry about so fingers crossed!

Happy to join you all!

Thanks everyone. The scan was such a surreal moment. Baby is measuring bang on 7+2 with a heartbeat of 148bpm. To hear the heartbeat was incredible, even my partner teared up.
There was a huge fibroid though that's made me a little nervous. Hopefully it doesn't interfere with the pregnancy

@Mystic94 congrats on the BFP!

I know it’s super hard not to worry in these early stages when so much is unknown. For what it’s worth though I’ve heard people who have had different sets of symptoms for different pregnancies and everything turned out okay. Also for your scan, I don’t think typically they can see anything before 6 weeks anyway

Thank you, you too!

I knew it was unlikely anything would be seen, I knew there definitely wouldn't have been a heartbeat. It's an awful time when you find out but it's too early for a scan so you just have to wait it out x

@Kellyaust I've just started having right sided groin pain and it's making me worry, I'm so paranoid about an ectopic pregnancy. I'm not under a midwife yet as I'm only 6 weeks, so I'm just going to ride it out as my GP won't see me until the morning when I can book on appointment!

@Belle26 that's amazing news, so nice to see little bub isn't it? ☺️

My SIL had fibroids in both her pregnancies and she had to have c-sections due to them, but I'm sure they'll go through your options in your 12 week scan. She was told that they are fairly common and had to have extra scans. It's a good job they picked it up as sometimes they're missed early on 🙂

@Pambeezley ive had it for 2 weeks now and lastnight is was super painful, I'm also terrified of ectopic.... All I can do is wait til Friday for my 6 week scan at epu not much longer now, praying to God its not ectopic coz this will be my last chance if anything happens this time I won't be trying again. 🤞

Pambeezley · 06/09/2023 13:44

@Kellyaust I have everything crossed for you. Let's hope baby is in the right place. It could be a cyst on the ovary that released the egg that's really common apparently!

Kellyaust · 06/09/2023 14:38

@Pambeezley well i know I only ovulate from the left as my right side is completely blocked and I do usually get a lot of left sided pain so fingers crossed. Definitely will update on here 🤞

MindatWork · 06/09/2023 16:06

@Belle26 Im so glad your scan went well! That first early one is always magical.

@Nynm23 goid to hear you’re ticking along ok too.

Im 6 weeks tomorrow and tired, nauseous and grumpy in this heat. My hcg at 16dp 5dt was over 5,000 which seems crazy high but they assured me it’s in normal range.

I’ve been up and down to the clinic like a yo-yo due to issues with my progesterone levels, so they’ve had to up my meds; then they messed up my prescription resulting in them having to pay for a same-day courier to get my meds to me in time. Times like this i really wish I could just shag and get pregnant like a normal person 🤣🤣🤣.

On top of all this my daughter is starting reception tomorrow so I am feeling ALL the emotions🥹

Plumful · 06/09/2023 16:58

I’m 5 weeks and sure my symptoms were already worse at this stage last time. I had severe all day nausea until week 16. I keep getting a random stabbing pain in my back.

naggy095 · 06/09/2023 18:30

I had a hcg blood test at my EPU today and missed their call this afternoon with the results so they left a voicemail, saying ‘we have your results but I’ll give you call back tomorrow morning as you might need a scan’.. now I’m worried 🥲

ttcthoughts · 06/09/2023 18:48

@naggy095 can you log onto your medical record online?

Kellyaust · 06/09/2023 19:21

@naggy095 oh gosh what a message to leave 🤦‍♀️ I don't think people realise the worry effect has sometimes. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about and they just want to check it's a singleton. X

naggy095 · 06/09/2023 19:44

@ttcthoughts no I already looked there’s nothing there 🙁

@Kellyaust I know! Could have at least added a don’t worry on the end 😂 hopefully it’s nothing bad.. I’ll update tomorrow if and when I find out x

MindatWork · 06/09/2023 19:59

Oh Christ @naggy095 what a message to leave you 😫.

Im sure all is fine, will keep everything crossed for you xx

Leahrose89x · 06/09/2023 20:10

Hi all
had my first positive a few days ago, think I’m about 4 weeks. I’m so severely bloated, very tired although I am a tired person 🤣🙈
nothing really different x

Kellyaust · 06/09/2023 20:17

@naggy095 definitely update when you find out will be thinking of you x

Irish34 · 06/09/2023 20:57

@naggy095 oh my god was the person who left that message even thinking! No message at all should of been left!

I am super bloated today. I look about 12 weeks pregnant. Very worried about weight gain in this pregnancy.

ttcthoughts · 07/09/2023 05:08

@naggy095 ohh no! That’s awful! And sucha. Shame they haven’t put anything up either ☹️

hope you manage to find out soon xx

naggy095 · 07/09/2023 09:07

So the hospital called me just now and asked me to come in for a scan later this morning and I said out of curiosity can I ask what level the hcg is now and she said 1200. I had had a private blood test on the weekend just gone and the level was over 2000 so I mentioned that to her and she said oh if it’s gone down that means you’re having a miscarriage. And then she said to come in for a blood test tomorrow instead.. and then she said oh no sorry I’ve read it wrong, it’s 12000!! And said to still come in for a scan today… I was about to cry my eyes out when she said the lower number! But now I’m also worried that my hcg has gone up so much, from 2200 to 12600 in only 4 days 😞

lenalove · 07/09/2023 10:00

@naggy095 you poor thing that's so badly handled on their part, especially as they know how stressful this time can be!!

Crossing fingers for you that it all goes well at the scan xx

ttcthoughts · 07/09/2023 10:06

@naggy095 Oh lovely, thats awful! they really should double check these things before shouldnt they :(

I really hope the scan goes well today, let us know :) how many weeks are you?

bringmearainbow · 07/09/2023 10:10

@naggy095 big hugs I agree very poorly handled at their end. I do think sometimes the EPU forget that anxious feelings are involved to them they deal with it everyday and it's normal but to us it isn't. I've been dealing with my EPU for 18 months and some ladies are lovely and I wish I didn't know them so well but I don't even have to give my name to some of them now but others can be really brusque and businesslike about it all. Sorry if you already said I haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread why were you seeing them in the first place?

Irish34 · 07/09/2023 10:30

@naggy095 she really shouldn’t have said it to you like that. Even if she read the numbers correctly. Also scary she misread the numbers!

hope your scan goes well. Thinking of you

Kellyaust · 07/09/2023 10:39

@naggy095 how ridiculous 🤦‍♀️ some of the staff can be just awful, I've experienced the same so now ill only speak to the ONE amazing nurse on there. I'm so glad you're having a scan this morning though and won't have to wait any longer to find out... Good luck will be waiting for news x

Nynm23 · 07/09/2023 11:19

@naggy095 I would be having a frank conversation with said nurse! Absolutely shocking!
