I’m the same in that I don’t feel like I’m getting the most from it yet. I turn a lot in bed and it’s quite big to chuck from side to side (think it might start to annoy DP 🤣).

I have an engagement party invite next week and no idea what to wear. This is my first so I still don’t feel like I have a proper pregnancy bump, just looking chubby. It’s a social club so I’m also not sure how dressy to go! Any inspiration?!

@Kalodin that is a BIG family. But must be nice to have so many siblings and have things so busy

It is @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 its why DH and I want a big family. His family is complete opposite.

Glad I'm not the only one struggling with the pregnancy pillow! Been using it for a while as I am a back sleeper so trying to train myself! I find I always fall asleep on my side with it but wake up on my back or facing the other way and don't turn over with it. DH claims I'm using it as a big barrier 🤣

Off to a BBQ today for our nephews birthday!

I haven’t started using my pillow yet. Sitting on top of the wardrobe. I roll from side to side so much but do need it soon for between me knees.

god I’m counting sleeps until anomaly scan, I’m like a child 😂😂 11 sleeps to go, can eventually say it’s next week. Desperate to just know if things look okay and then what sex this little one is 😬😬

I have my anomaly scan this evening. Can't wait, im a bit worried because i still can't feel anything 😕 before that me and daughter heading for some shopping, hoping to find white wedges shoes for my wedding.

I’m also not enjoying the preg pillow much 😂 first night I used it, it ended up on the floor, turning too much like others have said. DP hates it as well!

Anyone had any heartburn/acid reflux? I have never experience it before but it has been bad yesterday and today, especially after food.

Anyone have any tips to help it very uncomfortable hope it isnt like this for the rest of my pregnancy 😬

Gaviscon is your best friend @EL27 my midwife suggested using advanced, but I'd already got the normal stuff.

Apparently it means hairy baby (ds was very hairy, so I can say that old wives tale is true 🤣)

@EL27 I noticed a bit of heartburn yesterday. Seems okay today so far. But yes gaviscon, just neck it from the bottle. I lived on it with my boys, can’t say they had a lot of hair though 😂😂

I've been getting heartburn more in the last few days too! Especially if I have a big meal, think I finally need to accept that I can fit less in 😂

We have our anomaly scan tomorrow, not until 4.15pm, mix of excited and absolutely bricking it.

Scan tomorrow for me , 8am. Nervous and excited xx

I have to have Rennies every night now especially after certain foods. The moment I go to lie down I’m constantly burping and bringing up acid. Had it bad with my ds and resorted to Omeprazole and sleeping upright some nights 😩

Yup I'm in at 2pm for mine tomorrow too. Definitely is my scan and not my consultant apt like I thought last week 🤣

On the pregnancy pillow topic, I've got a blanket I've rolled up and tuck in a u shape front and back between my legs, I find it rolls better with me than the pillow I had with ds, could be because it's not as thick? Something worth maybe trying.

Does anyone know if I should have a full bladder for the 20 week scan? Just checked my letter but doesn't say anything about it unlike my 12 week one.

@Onedayatatime24 they say moderately full. I had to empty mine after they'd done a lot of the measurements.

@Onedayatatime24 i went with it full just in case and they made me wee straight away.

Maybe go with it a bit full because it’s easier to pee than drink loads!

@Onedayatatime24 my letter said scans after 24 weeks don't need full bladder so I interpreted that as I needed a full bladder. I did have to empty after a while to see if that would get some of the other measurements

my trust don’t ask for full bladder for any scans at all. I always just drink like normal

Heartburn has hit here too. Gaviscon is now a permanent fixture.

I have had awful braxton hicks today, actually quite painful at some points with lots of pressure too. Going to get an early night and hope for a better day tomorrow!
