Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

I’m okay, but you know how it is when your so hormonal and really trying not to cry when someone’s being a dick!
Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

Sorry I've been so quiet recently, all went well at my first hospital appointment last Monday. But since Wednesday, the day I turned 13 weeks, I've been sick. I was only nauseous before this but now I'm actually sick with no appetite. Its miserable, I could puke at any stage of the day. Doctor said it's normal for it to happen at any stage but that's no help really.....

Did anyone else have sickness that started after 13 weeks??

@Mangotango39 I’ve not yet, didn’t with my first until we got past 20 weeks. But I have stashed everything from my first, and I can’t help myself scrolling online a lot esp being twins! (Matching 💕!)

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 those are good low risk results, it’s so expensive doing the NIPT totally get it - save your pennies for when baby is here x

We won't be getting any random gifts/hand downs. We live in a different country to all our family and my friends here don't have children yet.

people have just asked what we want for bigger gifts and will transfer the money for us to buy ... bit of a pain but is what it is haha 😄

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Those are good, low risk results. I’m having an NIPT blood test tomorrow as they could get the measurements at my 12 week scan.

I had a private NIPT because we couldn’t get the measurement as well. My partner did a locum last night to pay for it, haha.

I have escalated the lack of second scan within the hospital though through various means so this may change for future women. It’s currently with the management for the department through one avenue I contacted, and the chief executive of the hospital through the other avenue I raised it.

@LavenderSweetPea i feel what you say about buying stuff 💯 I still have everything set up the cot, changing table etc from when I lost my girl last year. I’m coming round to the idea of using it again but clothes I can’t even bare to look at them. I’ll probably buy things last minute tbh as long as we have what we need everything else can be bought as and when

Good for you!!! To be honest I find it completely shocking that the nhs seem to be normalising- oh well sorry can’t do the tests 🤷🏼‍♀️ you’ll just have to pay for yourself or wait and see. I mean wtf is that??? In the past if they couldn’t get measurements they rearranged the scan.

I haven’t actually gained any weight but I’m massively bloated and my clothes haven’t fit for a few weeks. I’ll be 15 weeks on Sunday.

@Gardenfingers23 About the same. Been in maternity trousers since 9 weeks. Initially it was bloat but is now a small bump.

Sorry haven't undated for a while, some lovely updates!

I'm 15 weeks and I have put on about 3pounds in weight. I've finally admitted defeat and as of yesterday I'm no longer comfortable in my jeans. I've only got a very slight bump at the minute but it seems so much bigger at night right before bed, does anyone else notice this?

I have bought a couple of bits as this is our first so are starting from scratch and have a lot to buy, although I prefer gendered clothing etc so holding out until my gender scan next week to really start.

Hi ladies I’m sad to say I’ll be leaving the group we went for a 16 week gender scan and after 4 very healthy looking scans we were faced with the heartbreaking new for the second time at this stage in pregnancy there was no heartbeat we are so shocked this has happened again and am feeling very numb right now but I Wish you all a happy, healthy pregnancy xx
