Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've taken some of mine off paid and some as holiday as my hospital is not close to work and also not very on time....

Quick question, Yesterday I had my private scan with my recurrent loss clinic and they do the same tests as the NHS for the risks for Tri 18,21 and 13. The only differance is they take bloods before and do it on the day. So all looked great with baby except the HR is still at 176 and I am 13 weeks +2 which is high.

This meant the risk for 13 went from 1 in 8000 to 1 in 100, the doc is sure its nothing and no signs are showing a risk, I got the NHS back and all three were less than a 1 in 5000 risk.. however they don't see how fast the HR is just that there is one.

Has anyone had this? I am more worried about babies HR than so much the Tri 13 risk... but I am already very Anxious due to previous losses. I have had the harmony so that hopefully will rule out the T13 risk, However I read high HR could be thyroid related? No- one seemed that concerned but I am..

Hi Megan, so sorry for the stress. I’m not a doctor, but although 176 is a little high, it’s not so high that it is particularly abnormal or worrying. It could just be that baby was a little active in that particular moment in time.
It seems bizarre that that alone would change the risk profile so much, I’ve never heard of that personally.
If the private dr wasn’t worried, and nhs not worried I’d try not to let it concern you xxx (I know that’s easy to say!!)

@Shrillwaffle I’m in Edinburgh! We just get the standard 12 and 20 week scans through the NHS. Have you decided if you will book a private scan? xx

I’ve just sent my scan pics off to nub tech now too.. that’s early glimpse, nub queens and nub tech 😂😂 I’m out a fortune but also slightly addicted haha

@AllAboardTootToot that’s them in my last post, early glimpse and nub tech are 2 websites you send ur pics to and they give detailed predictions with nub theory on why it’s a boy or girl and then nub theory Queens is a Facebook page u upload ur pics and they give a prediction for free. It’s very addictive 😂

still really interested in all the old wives tales and theories .
So far, tales lead to a boy with all my symptoms but everyone who's guessed from scan says girl!

Hey everyone, I had my 12 week scan today. Measuring at 12w6 and a new due date of 22nd Feb. I’m thrilled, I was really getting myself worked up that it would be bad news so I was so relieved to reach this milestone today🥹
Baby was hiding so our scan pics are not the most clear, but I don’t mind as everything is measuring as it should be and heard a lovely heartbeat.
Best of luck to everyone with scans this week 🤞🏼

@AllAboardTootToot I'm going to guess boy for you as I can see the nub and its looks stacked to me also it's facing towards the babys head (but just a guess so take with a pinch of salt)
@Beachbaby2024 defiantly would say that's a boy, quite an obvious stacked nub you have their 😊
Also ladies I don't have fb unfortunately so can't post my scan for free to see what else guesses I get, but so far 2 different sites - early glimpse & nubtechs have guessed girl for me 🤣 would it be wrong to ask, but would any of you be willing to post mine on a free fb nub theory thing? :/ 🤣 it is addictive isnt it 😬😂

Going to just wait until 16 weeks and have private scan, I’d spend hours on these sites second guessing for weeks otherwise 😂
