Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

@DmcinT my dh was amused by/interested in the nub theory chat until he realised I'd spent money on it 🙈 he thinks I've been taken for a mug, he's probably right.
Both the nub techs and the nub queen's Facebook group (at least that's free!) said boy for me. Will find out if it's right in 4 weeks as I've booked a 16 week scan!

@DmcinT Mine thinks it's wishy washy but I've thought girl all the way through.

Kinda jealous of everyone having lots of movements at the scan. There wasn't much movement that I noticed, but sonographer seemed happy and strong heartbeat, guess little one was just asleep.

Are a lot of people getting a 26 week gender scan? I'm in two minds, but I would like another scan to check if all is okay!

On the nub theory, mine is a girl nub. However I got my 13.6 week scan out for my boy and his was a girl nub also! Although the scanner said clearly a boy three or four days later at my nipt. So I've now no clue what this one will be

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX it appears your guess is as good as theirs. It is slightly suspicious though that they have predicted all girls so far on this chat.

I can't possible wait until my 20 weeks scan so will be booking a gender scan as soon as I'm 16 weeks.

I'm finally allowing myself to get excited now 😊

Our 3 year old is adamant he is having a baby sister and refuses to understand it may be a boy 😂 He told all of his nursery and has even named "her"!! 😆

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I'm not having a 16 week scan, in our area apparently 20 week scans are more like 18 week scans so I'm going to try to hold on, also work and dp being away would make getting a scan date difficult.

My 20 week scan is when I’m 21 week and I just don’t think I can hold out that long. What the name of the Facebook page, I must see if they give the same result 😂 I’m addicted now lol

@Shrillwaffle i feel you on the exhaustion! I am 15 weeks too and just feel completely wiped out. Doesn’t help with the lack of sleep from both my toddlers and needing to pee every couple of hours

@DmcinT ive had on and off days for sure, some I feel like back to normal energy levels and can power through. Other days like today in good for napping and reading books to my toddler and that’s about it.

i hope the second trimester energy boost kicks in soon as everyone keeps telling me.

ladies couldn't resist I have ordered 1 hour emailed results from the nubtechs just to see if I get any different from early glimpse as their is alot of us supposedly having girls! 🤣 and for me find it hard to believe after 4 boys 🤣 cost £19.99 though!! but theirs different packages to choose from anyway just impatient 😁🤣

Will ring doctors in the morning of course but do they normally give antibiotics when pregnant?

I’ve sent my scan to 2 of the girls in a medical field, one is paediatrics and they both guessed girl as well (without knowing about early glimpse result) I’d myself convinced boy for no real reason but find it weird to think of myself with a girl now 😂
