Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

I’m okay, but you know how it is when your so hormonal and really trying not to cry when someone’s being a dick!
Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

I caved and did the nub techs, my report says 85% chance of boy! Let's see if it's right, I'm not sure I put much stock in this. Have booked a scan at 16w3d.

In any case it's probably good for me to tell myself it's a boy and start getting my head around that. We have a daughter and I've definitely been picturing another girl. I think because it's what I know rather than what I want, it's just hard to imagine myself with a boy somehow!

@Mangotango39 yes same! I had no sickness and was hungry 24/7 first tri and now food aversion seems to be kicking in, I’ve even gone off cups of tea! I’ve suffered with constipation this week and found I’ve felt really ‘full’ and not interested in eating at all, so I’m hoping it’s just a phase linked to that.

It's good to see that others have experienced a shift in symptoms going from first to second trimester. My nausea has been gradually easing off for the last week which is amazing, but now I've got insomnia instead 🙃

I'm waking up every hour or two, it's driving me crazy!! I tried sleeping a shorter amount of time the other night to see if I'd sleep through the next but that didn't help either!

since I have had alot of boy guesses I couldn't resist on sending my latest scan photo off to early glimpse 🤣 just hope their right as 2 scan photos they have had in total both girl guesses so cost me £24.99 up to now haha x

@Sunshineclouds11 yes I know compared to first scan photo I sent them last week they only gave me 80% obvs I would be happy with either girl or boy but to have a girl after 4 boys would be like a bonus to me lol aswell as a massive shock!! Haha x

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX oh that’s pretty convincing to get girl twice and the confidence increasing with a clearer pic. I can’t wait to do this on Monday.

id say my symptoms have all but disappeared over the last 2 weeks (nearly 14 now) which makes me feel anxious to be honest🙈 just hope our wee bean is still jumping about the place in there. I keep getting little flutters at night when it’s still & quiet in bed but would this be way too early to feel little kicks?

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX i have no idea on scans but so it interesting they’ve come back girl both times! Fingers crossed for you!

I got my screen results today, so my nuchal was 1.7 & 1.9 for the twins and it’s come back 1 in 3000 and 1 in 5000 and they aren’t recommending and further screening so that’s good odds for me given I’m an ‘older’ mum!
