Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

Just got our NIPT results which fortunately came back low risk, didn’t look at the gender part…then took the results straight to the party shop and asked them to read it and get a canon so we couldn’t see which gender we were buying 😂 just got home and set it off together - it’s a boy!!!!!!!! We’re both in shock. So happy.

Hi all,
I had my 12 week scan today. Baby was very active and measuring 3 days ahead (12+4) at 6cm. They have given me a new due date of 19th Feb (I know I didn’t ovulate that early so not sure if I should just stick to my own dates in my mind, or go with it and pretend to myself I’ve gained 3 days 😆).
My happiness at the scan was very much overshadowed by the discovery that I have a 3.5cm simple (possibly para) ovarian cyst. The sonographer said not to worry and he’d just note it in the report , and they’d check it again at 20 weeks , but it is freaking me out. I’ve had so many ultrasounds and never had something like this before. Also it wasn’t there when I had my private scan about 5.5 weeks ago.
Has anyone had anything like this?

@Golaz your MW will go off the date you've been given from your scan so go from that.
I had a cyst on first pregnancy and didn't cause any issues or concern.

@Golaz unfortunately I also have a cyst on each ovary. One is 6cm and causes a bit of discomfort but they are hoping they will go away once the pregnancy develops further. Unless you experience ovarian torsion from what I’ve been told there’s no impact on the baby or the pregnancy.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I ended up seeing my consultant today, for a different reason and she had a good feel of my tummy. Said the twinges were bowl related and not to worry.

@mumtotwox strange isn't it to say I have had 2 types of guesses from 2 different scan photos literally taken 1 week apart 🤣 suppose I won't know exactly then till my 20 week scan! 🤦‍♀️🤣 so still in limbo lahd haha x

Congratulations to all those who had positive scans today, unfortunately I wasn’t one of them 💔 no heartbeat and the baby was measuring 8+3.

We had a private scan with a strong heartbeat at 8+4 so must have lost them soon after our scan 😞

Wishing you all the best with your pregnancies x

Anyone struggling to eat??
First trimester I was a human dustbin (had no sickness!)

But now I am struggling. I feel full really quickly and the thought of everything is abit meh. Just don't feel hungry at all!!

Actually I’m changing my vote! I think what I thought was the nub is actually part of the leg 🤣🤣. so I’m going girly nub after all..

I’m so truly baffled as to how sonographers do it tbh. I never have any idea what I’m looking at 🤣

I won't tag Bali in case they don't want notifications but I'm so sad to see this update. If you're reading this, I hope you have support around you and that you can give yourself time and space to grieve this loss. I had an mc at 8 weeks (after a positive scan a few days earlier) and found mumsnet really helpful, connecting with other women who had been through it or were going through it. There are specific miscarriage/pregnancy loss threads you might find helpful.
I'll be thinking of you 😞
