Thank you ladies💕
I’m okay, but you know how it is when your so hormonal and really trying not to cry when someone’s being a dick!
Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

I did one Lubion injection for a week before stopping at 12 weeks, @FrostedFlake - nerve wracking but, fingers crossed, all ok so far.

amyg1985 · 11/08/2023 09:33

Oh, I should say, I was doing two injections a day previously - weaned off by going down to one injection a day for a week.

Sunshineclouds11 · 11/08/2023 09:45

FrostedFlake · 11/08/2023 09:14

@Sunshineclouds11 thats what I was thinking of doing, have gone down to one injection from two as was too scared to go cold turkey even though the clinic had said it should be fine to stop at 12 weeks.
How long did you continue on the reduced dosage if you don’t mind me asking?

I done it over 2 weeks

Nemo145 · 11/08/2023 09:49

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 yes, much bigger. I’ve not been able to get in to my jeans since about 10 weeks and I reckon Im the size now at 14 weeks (almost) as I was at about 20 weeks last time. Im on progesterone so that’s not helping as it’s making me really bloated. Do you think it’s just stuff stretching? Didn’t know if I should call midwife just to mention it.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 11/08/2023 10:04

@FrostedFlake I might get a private gender scan, also purely so I can see everything is okay again before 20 weeks!

@Nemo145 I think it's maybe stuff stretching, and also I get it when lifting my chunky little boy. But it wouldn't hurt to email the midwives I guess to check

Hankthehonk · 11/08/2023 11:06

Everything went great at our 12 week scan - baby wriggling and waving away. They put me at 12 weeks exactly, 2 days ahead of what I thought, so EDD is 23 Feb.
We had a trainee sonographer which was actually amazing as we got to look at the baby way longer while she practiced everything! We were in for almost half an hour and got about 30 pictures.
I've no idea about nub theory but would be amused/curious about any guesses!

Just wanted to flag that a couple of scan pictures including @Hankthehonk have your full name and date of birth top left, not sure if you're happy with your details out there and linked to your username, etc. Think you can report and get taken down if not. I haven't worked out how to add mine but want to make sure no identifying details!

LalalaBubs · 11/08/2023 11:27

14 weeks now and I swear I have been feeling baby move! Unmistakable flutters for the oast day or 2!
This is my 3rd baby so maybe I'm very in tune with my body or my mind is just getting carried away🤣

DmcinT · 11/08/2023 11:50

@Hankthehonk ah congrats 🥳 such a great feeling to see all is good and lovely to get that bit extra time 🥰 was baby moving around much? Will u send pics to that site to see what they predict gender to be? I feel it’s very tempting for a 10er 😅

@FrostedFlake im on progesterone also, I was reduced to one a day for 2 weeks and just last week I was reduced to every other day, I’m 13.5 now so think the plan is to continue that for another week or so. I know the anxious feeling of reducing or removing it completely but as far as I’m aware we dont need as much progesterone now and it peaks around 12 weeks anyways so 🤞🏽🤞🏽

i have another scan on Monday to get 2 measurements they couldn’t get last week and I’m feeling al those nervous/anxious feelings again 😫 wish I could just be excited and not feel the overwhelming worry

Hankthehonk · 11/08/2023 11:50

@Ihatewinding Thank you so much for flagging, what a dafty I am! Thankfully they took it down straight away.

Here's a pic without these details. Will be more careful in future!

Kelb79 · 11/08/2023 12:02

@Hankthehonk lovely ❤️❤️❤️ congrats!!!
we had a trainee too and she just kept going while the midwife went to check sone things with her superior (my pregnancy is donor egg IVF so extra confusing for them 🤣🤣) she also let us take a sneaky video and snuck us a could of extra pictures as it was my birthday 😝❤️❤️❤️ it was amazing!!!

Hankthehonk · 11/08/2023 12:34

@DmcinT Yes they were moving around a fair bit, it's so surreal to think they're doing that all the time and you can't feel it. Looking forward to feeling movement in a few weeks, it's so lovely and reassuring.
I must admit I'm tempted by the nub thing even though I don't get it (I can never tell what the nub is in pics) and my husband thinks it's a load of rubbish. I'm just impatient to know what we're having! Will definitely book 16 week scan

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 11/08/2023 12:34

@FrostedFlake no problem 😊

Also ladies just got back from hospital have been there since 7am (was up at 6!) Im knackered lol anyway had to have the glucose intolerance test as in my last pregnancy had GD so will find out the results later on today.. had my reassurance scan, sonographer kindly gave me 1 photo of baby and the photo is much clearer than my 12 week one 🤣 so would any of you want to take another guess based on nub theory as I think their is defiantly a nub visible on this one.. congratulations to all of those with their positive scan updates too! 💕

FrostedFlake · 11/08/2023 13:04

Thank you for letting me know how you approached coming off progesterone @Sunshineclouds11 @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 @amyg1985.
Did you have to do bloods or anything else to check you can come off or was that based on initial timings the doctor had given?
We have gone through a few unsuccessful rounds of IVF to get here and the fertility clinic had said initially to stop at 12 weeks but I’ve never been checked for the levels of progesterone since so wonder if I just wear myself off or if I should ask for a blood test to make sure it’s definitely not needed.

FrostedFlake · 11/08/2023 13:07

Oh wow, that’s quite hight percentage confidence too! Ours was only 75%! Can’t wait to find out if these were accurate ☺️

No worries. I didn't need a blood test. My ivf clinic just sent me a letter after my 7 week scan with weaning off instructions which I followed. Many clinics have you come off progesterone much earlier (9-10 weeks) so I took comfort from that. I'm still taking the dreaded Cyclogest pessaries though - those go until 15 weeks for me.

FrostedFlake · 11/08/2023 13:12

Ah perfect, thanks @amyg1985! my clinic just said from a fertility perspective I can come off at 12 weeks. I’ve come down to half the dosage and will keep going for the next week and hopefully then will feel happy to just stop.
I have read some women go on using progesterone much longer in pregnancy so was wondering if there’s a test that’s done but maybe it’s based on their past experiences.
oh no, I hated cyclogest and it really did not agree with me. I would rather stab myself everyday with a needle and be sore and bruised that take it 😅 but you only have a few more weeks!

Un7breakable · 11/08/2023 13:22

Scan went well, very relieved! Due 19th Feb.

I know but for some reason I don't believe it 😂😂 but I have no clue about the nub theory!
Can't wait to start finding out what we're all having 💙💗

undercoverhero74 · 11/08/2023 13:55

Congratulations everyone on your lovely scans!! It's making me really impatient for mine on Monday.

Sunshineclouds11 · 11/08/2023 13:55

@FrostedFlake no tests! I was discharged from my clinic at 9 weeks and didn't need anything further from them.

I gave in and did an Early Glimpse too! Trying not to get too excited but i would LOVE another little girl🥰

I have a gender scan later in the month so will be exciting to see if it was right or not xx
