Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

I’m okay, but you know how it is when your so hormonal and really trying not to cry when someone’s being a dick!
Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

@xTinkerbell I hope you feel better soon! Mine eased off but has been kicking my butt the last few days too!
How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫
It will all be worth it in the end 😊

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

@User0224 My midwife said they only ring if it's concerning (normally 1-2 days after taking the bloods). The written results will be available at the next appointment. I'm in Scotland 😊

Oh how weird! Thanks for the heads up. I kind of feel like if it’s your own data you should be entitled to it when it comes in, maybe I’m being precious 😂 anyway thanks x

@mumtotwox I told mine last week. It was weird. He sort of reacted like he didn't really know why I was telling him this early! I just said I thought he should know! We did do a risk assessment yesterday though

Had by 12 week scan today - measuring at 11+4 which is spot on my calculations too based on cycle length. Long old trip because firstly my bladder was too full, then my uterus was contracting so couldn’t get the measurements. Sent away for a snack and then re-scanned. Lots of jiggling about needed and position changes to move baby into a good position but eventually got everything needed. 1/3700 risk of DS and 1/11500. Low PAPP-A though so starting aspirin and will now sit under a consultant. Super happy to see baby though and start sharing the news.

For anyone worrying about lack of symptoms - I had about a week of mild nausea, a few days of fatigue and that’s it.

Hi @AllAboardTootToot I'm a first time mum too. At my booking appointment they just took my height and weight and went through all of my medical history. They asked me where I'd like to give birth and discussed vaccinations.

Hi all had my scan this morning too and very relieved to find out all is looking good with baby!! I’m so excited to finally be at this milestone where it feels like the risks of miscarriage are lower.

Also had my scan today and all looked good! Baby was moving around lots and actually was dated 2 days ahead which is weird as we had IVF so would have thought dates would be bang on - maybe just a big baby! 😬

I also had my scan today. There is a baby there. My due date has been moved to 19th Feb.

@User0224 they gave me the blood results from the booking appointment today after the 12 week scan. They wrote to me straight after the bloods because I was vitamin D deficient. They never told me about any other blood test taken so I assumed they were all fine and thats what was confirmed today. So I think as you haven’t heard anything you’re fine.

@amyg1985 I didn’t take steroids so can’t blame them for the change in date. Guess it can all change again so trying not to stress too much. Just pleased everything looked as it should 😊
