Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

I’m okay, but you know how it is when your so hormonal and really trying not to cry when someone’s being a dick!
Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm 14+3 today and I've gone off all food. Not normally like me at all! Just don't fancy anything. Just ate scrambled eggs on toast and feeling a bit sick after it so that's another one to avoid 😅 The only thing I've enjoyed so far is plain carbs... Mash with gravy or salty fries.

Anyone else like this?

wondering has anyone had anything similar to this….
i think I might just have overdone it, I did a good bit of walking and then a very steep hill and I have this weird, uncomfortable pulsating pain in my cervix/vagina. I’m lying down resting now but just never felt anything like this before so not sure what it is

We had the 12 week scan today but MW said I’m 13 weeks today so a bit further on than expected. Due 13th February. We are so pleased. It feels like it’s really happening now! Baby was lying on its front just like how I sleep. Not for much longer though! Telling the family tomorrow.

@Hankthehonk my original date from previous scans was 16th Feb but measurements showed 14th Feb now. She said they don't change the date though and just stick with the original so who knows! 😅

Is anyone else still knackered?!
I’m 13+3 today and still sleeping terribly and permanently exhausted.
The nausea has calmed down though so that’s something.

@RegardingPersephone I was like that at around that time in my first pregnancy. Didn’t really want to eat much and then when I did, I was full really quickly or feeling sick from eating. It lasted a few weeks if I remember rightly.

@DmcinT Probably just all the extra blood flow to that area at the moment and being more aware of it? I got varicose veins down there last time round and remember a similar feeling, oh the joys 👀 Thankfully they disappeared after birth!

Congratulations on all the scans and good news from tests! I still haven’t had my 12week screening results back so assuming that’s good news!
Started bleeding again very lightly on and off since Thursday. Rang EPU who said as it’s not heavy and because a haematoma was found on the scan they’re not concerned and to ignore it unless it becomes really heavy. They told me no sex and to just relax. But it scares me that it is still going on. I still feel very pregnant and otherwise fine but my anxiety is going through the roof! Have a gender scan booked in a couple of weeks so fingers crossed our little tot is doing ok🤞🏻

I've been having a bit of pain this evening. Hoping it's just round ligament pain. It's more on my right side which I've read can be the case but it comes in waves and is like a sort of dull ache. Hope everything is ok, we have a long drive down south tomorrow! 14 weeks on Thursday
