Just got my bfp yesterday and EDD is early April 2024. Anyone else similar and feel like keeping each other company?

Is anyone else baffled that there's a due in may board!? Are we finished with April! That seems so quick!

I remember feeling weird seeing the next month when I was pregnant with my daughter. It's going to so slowly so I think that's why I'm shocked 😂

Wow! Really? I’m only 6+2 and due 10th April (according to my app) so it feels weird that people could know they are pregnant and due in May…

CinderRosie · 13/08/2023 07:49

@faban I saw that thread and thought whaaat, we haven’t had many new joiners yet with due dates after mine (21st). We might a few more yet though with people who didn’t test crazy early 😂 Finally got to do my digital today and a nice strong line on the strip test too. I’m 4 weeks exactly today according to LMP but I ovulated before CD14 so I think I could possibly be 4+ 2. Going by LMP date for now.

Anyone else having really broken sleep? 😴 I woke up 3-4 times last night and had to resort to putting earbuds in and listening to a sleep meditation to get back to sleep.

Anyone due April 2024?
SurreyPsych · 13/08/2023 07:53

I’m genuinely baffled by that @faban … how?!
I’ve been awake since 3am so maybe I’m not thinking clearly.

HelloMoon87 · 13/08/2023 08:03

@CinderRosie I'm also due 21st April. Congrats it looks great! 🤩

Noodles4Me · 13/08/2023 08:13

Hi everyone. Got my 3+ on the digital test. I’m 5+1 according to app but genuinely could be more as my ovulation is a mystery.

If I book an early scan, do I go for 7 weeks based on the app?

sugarplum33 · 13/08/2023 08:25

@faban I don't think the May due dates can be correct. I'm 15dpo and due 20th April, to be due 11 days after that in May you'd need to be only 4dpo right?! Maybe they're just counting 9 months from August.

@CinderRosie My sleep is awful, I was up from 3am and only managed to drift back off close to 6 ready for DD to waltz in at 7! Your tests looks great, such strong results :)

@Noodles4Me So good to see the weeks progress! If you're pretty confident you're no less than 5 weeks at this point then 7 weeks should be fine for a scan. I had mine at 8 weeks in my first pregnancy and that seemed a good mid point between finding out and having the 12 week scan but at 7 weeks you should be able to see the heartbeat.

faban · 13/08/2023 08:30

I knew it didn't seem right! I'm 5+1 and due 13th April so I did think it was strange 😂 thanks for clarifying!

faban · 13/08/2023 08:31

I'm also in the broken sleep club. I just can't get comfortable. I'm having quite ally of twinges today which I'm trying not to freak out about

HelloMoon87 · 13/08/2023 08:34

It might be all the ladies who give birth 2 weeks late, but due dates still end of April? 😂 I think it's likely dpo 8 ish for 1st of May due date, so still really early, unless maybe they implanted and ovulated early?

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 13/08/2023 08:39

I had a nosy at the May thread and they’re 12dpo with a very faint positive. 🤔 That would be April surely?

Olivia199 · 13/08/2023 08:42

Maybe it's people with really short cycles who are going by LMP? Strange though! Think there are some TTC on there too.

Bluesky85 · 13/08/2023 08:42

My sleep is ok but I wake every night to do a number one and number two! I wake up feeling so full like I’m going to explode! I’m really gassy too! Sorry tmi! This can be anywhere from 3am to 6am and then I find it hard to go straight back to sleep. I do eventually but then feel so tired in the morning. Before this I never had to get up in the night and go to the loo.

Cinderz123 · 13/08/2023 09:28

Morning ladies, I too am in broken sleep club 😴 struggle to fall asleep then up for a wee at 2am n wide awake from 6am listening to my partner heavy breathing 😣 today I am 4+5 due 16th April according to my app

Greenvelvetdress · 13/08/2023 09:46

I think I'm now due in March due to dates but hoping I can stay in this group and not start in a new one 😅 went to the gym this morning but felt so nauseous 🤢 not sleeping too badly, just in bed by about 9pm and then awake at 6am 😅

CinderRosie · 13/08/2023 09:53

@Greenvelvetdress you are more than welcome one to stay here, you even go overdue and have an April baby anyway? I’m in the gym right now and feeling a bit sicky but I think it’s tiredness and feeling hot causing it.

@HelloMoon87 yay due date buddies!

missmae · 13/08/2023 09:58

Good morning all, congrats on the bfp’s! I first got my positive at 10dpo.
baby no.2 following a loss in April this year at 19 weeks.
going from my period I should be 4+1 but my app wants to say 4+2. So either due 19th or 20th April.
also have had hg in previous pregnancies so yay looking forward to that 🫣😂

@HelloMoon87 i see you beat me to it already! 🤣

Giles1008 · 13/08/2023 10:14

Hey 👋🏻 I’m 5weeks or +a few days depending on which app. My LMP was 8th July I expected to get 3+ on digital today but it still says 2-3 weeks is this anything to worry about? I ovulated 23rd July I think.

Only symptoms is tiredness at the moment, was expecting to see 3+ today and now I’m feeling all anxious 😬

Baby3please · 13/08/2023 10:21

Sitting here trying not to stress. TMI but DH and I DTD tonight and I'm now bleeding. 😣 It's not heavy and I know it's probably totally fine but it's got me stressed out. I've had issues with bleeding during my other pregnancies and was told not to DTD at some stage during those, so I'm wondering if I'll be told the same thing this time around too.

sugarplum33 · 13/08/2023 10:35

@Giles1008 The amount of HCG present each week in a healthy, normal pregnancy can vary hugely. At 5 weeks normal HCG could range from <100 to over 7000. The clear blue tests just can't account for that level of variation and will be set at an average figure and therefore for some people their tests will show that they're 'ahead' and some will appear 'behind', even though their pregnancies are progressing perfectly normally.

sugarplum33 · 13/08/2023 10:48

@missmae Sorry to hear about your loss, it must have been an awful time for you Flowers When does your HG normally kick in?

@Baby3please It sounds like bleeding is quite normal for you in pregnancy so although it must be stressful to see, try to reassure yourself that you've had bleeding with positive outcomes before and there's no reason this won't be the same. I'm assuming that you're not in the UK going by 'tonight', will you have an appointment/scan soon?

missmae · 13/08/2023 10:57

@sugarplum33 thank you💖it was but seeing as this one is an April baby it must be a sign 🙏🏼👼🏽.
HG normally kicks in exactly 6 weeks, so I have a couple of weeks to prepare myself lol 🫣

Baby3please · 13/08/2023 11:00

@sugarplum33 yeah I'm trying to tell myself it's fine and it's probably just a me thing. I'm in NZ so a wee time difference haha. My midwife sent a referral for a scan so will hopefully have one in about 2 weeks time. I've had two blood hcg tests done a week apart and she asked me last night if I want another or if I'm happy to just wait for scan, and I said I'll wait for the scan, but now I'm wondering if I should ask for another blood test. 😣

Baby3please · 13/08/2023 11:02

@missmae HG sounds so awful. 😣 Hopefully you don't end up too bad this time. 🤞 I've been so worried about my lack of nausea recently but I've decided to try make the most of not being sick.

Janeykat · 13/08/2023 11:20

Hi all, can I join please? My app says I am 4 weeks tomorrow, and due on the 23rd of April🤞🤞🤞
Feeling a bit nervous due to 2 previous losses this year but also excited. My 4 year old has also started randomly saying this week that he doesnt want any brothers or sisters...bit late for that😅🤣

Best of luck to you all, and nice to see some familiar names on this thread @HelloMoon87 @missmae

missmae · 13/08/2023 11:25

@Baby3please yeah it’s so debilitating… I do hope so as well, hopefully if I use antisickness asap.. we will see. And are you! Honestly make the most of not having it now, it may make an appearance soon?! How far along are you?

@Janeykat it is, hiya! 🙋🏼‍♀️
