Just got my bfp yesterday and EDD is early April 2024. Anyone else similar and feel like keeping each other company?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Thanks @sugarplum33 . I expect I’ll be eating utter junk until this eases. I’m going to get some travel sickness tablets tomorrow at the airport.

I wish there was some flex. Sadly not. It’s complex, but I can’t take time off work and can’t work remotely. Something I’ll discuss more if we end up with a WhatsApp but it makes me more identifiable if I go into it here.

Thanks @DauntedAF , they've increased 75% over 22 hours which is slightly less than I had hoped for but apparently is still within normal range so hoping that means everything's okay. Now just got to wait another 2 and a bit weeks for the scan. It's going sooo slowly!

That's it, it's over. Af has arrived, angry and tests are lighter too. It was a nice dream if only for 2 days before all this started. Devasted isn't even the word.

I've found myself in a bit if an irritating situation today and I'm surprised at how upset I am by it.

I'm on holiday with family and have been drinking alcohol free equivalents/soft drinks. I was given wine yesterday but managed to "dispose" of it into my DHs glass (annoyingly though, he made a comment about "not being allowed" alcohol in earshot of others). My sister twigged and ambushed me today, saying she knew I must be pregnant. I feel that it"s really insensitive and you shouldn't comment until you're told! I ended up (slightly pointedly) telling her that I had an early miscarriage last cycle and that I wouldn't be telling anyone else until after a scan, but I still feel really compromised/annoyed. Maybe I'd feel less sensitive if I'd not had the chemical pregnancy... but it's just not the done thing, is it?! She waited until after a scan to tell me about her pregnancy (and did so with a special "big reveal" type announcement), for context... so it's not as though she's a "tell family as soon as she gets a positive test" type - so I would have thought she'd have more empathy/be more sensitive and respect me wanting to tell people on my terms/in my own time. Now I'm stressed that I'm going to have to tell her (and her DH) if there's an issue which is just pressure/an upset I really won't need, all because she put me in that position in the first place.

Doesn't help that my hormones are raging, I'm super sensitive and have had a long day. Grr.

Your sister was rude... its not the big "gotcha" she thinks it is.

Ive had SOOOO many people ask me point blank if Im pregnant yet that I have been avoiding texting friends, for fear they will ask me. Today one friend asked me in a group chat! Another friend from the same group chat texted me privately a couple of weeks ago, to ask!

Fortunately, if my family suspects anything, they havent mentioned it at all. My mom is the only one who knows, and shes been covering for me, with the not drinking. Though my brother seems to have twigged it, but hasnt mentioned it to me yet.

Everyone close to me knows I was trying for a baby via IVF (Im single), but its still too early to be telling the whole world, as I wouldnt want to tell them if it turned out to not progress.

I have my first scan on Thursday, and, all being well, I will start telling more people.

I don't know if it's tiredness or very early onset baby brain but my brain is definitely not on top form at the moment. I was cooking yesterday and took the cheese back to the fridge, opened the door, went to put it on the fridge shelf and realised I wasn't even holding the cheese, I was putting my phone in the fridge 🤣

Same here @sugarplum33 ! It made packing for a short trip very difficult, everything I was removing from my makeup bag ended up packed, and all the things I needed were back in the cupboard 😁

Is anyone else baffled that there's a due in may board!? Are we finished with April! That seems so quick!

I remember feeling weird seeing the next month when I was pregnant with my daughter. It's going to so slowly so I think that's why I'm shocked 😂
