Just got my bfp yesterday and EDD is early April 2024. Anyone else similar and feel like keeping each other company?

Welcome @DauntedAF! definitely a line there! Does today make you the equivalent of 14DPO?

DauntedAF · 12/08/2023 07:47

@CinderRosie had to google it there but yes I'm 14dpo

hopefulmum46 · 12/08/2023 07:53

@sugarplum33 it's definitely darker, I don't think it really matters how dark at this stage, as long as it's heading in the right direction.

@DauntedAF there's definitely a line there. Is it a fresh or frozen transfer? Hope all is good at your blood test on Monday

In case you're interested, this is my line progression on easy@home from day of fresh transfer to today. Trigger shot never completely left my system before I started testing positive for the pregnancy

Thanks @hopefulmum46 how you feeling?? Seriously solid line progression there. Dying to test tomorrow already!! Mine was a frozen, does that make a difference

Thank you!!

hopefulmum46 · 12/08/2023 08:11

@DauntedAF I have had a bit of spotting the last few days so being a bit cautiously optimistic, should get my second beta hcg blood results from yesterday this morning so I'll feel a lot happier if they've doubled since Wednesday.

I'm guessing with a frozen transfer that you wouldn't have had an hcg trigger so there would be no risk of it being a false positive, although even if you did have a trigger it should be out of your system by now.

Hope you get a good progression 🤞

Floralsandsmiles · 12/08/2023 08:18

Hi all!

So I'm 14dpo and still testing positive, despite the spotting. however it's not got stronger or weaker. So I guess this is a good sign?

Xxx

Do you think? 🙏 @hopefulmum46 . I really hope so!!! I'm still spotting red blood when I wipe, so very very worried!! Xxx

DauntedAF · 12/08/2023 08:27

@Floralsandsmiles defo line progression there!!

CinderRosie · 12/08/2023 08:27

@Floralsandsmiles I’d say they’re darker too, your 14DPO easy at home looks like mine did today, which I posted a few posts back.

HelloMoon87 · 12/08/2023 08:27

@Floralsandsmiles hi, thanks for checking in 💚 I'm not spotting anymore but no symptoms for 3 days now. The line is still light, but not getting lighter. I'm going to spend the weekend not obsessing as literally nothing I can do...

Yours looks a lot darker than mine and darker day by day. I've got everything crossed for you.

Has anyone further on had sudden loss of symptoms at 4+1 ish from having quite a few? All I can read it online are ladies without any symptoms to start with or loss of symptoms later on (which I know is normal as I've had that with my son, few days on few days off, though I'd probably still worry)

HelloMoon87 · 12/08/2023 08:28

@Floralsandsmiles I was going to suggest doing a blood test at private walk in, if you are very worried about spotting. And another one 48 hours later.

HCG doubles in 48 hrs, if you compare day 14 with day 12 there's definitely progression!

hopefulmum46 · 12/08/2023 08:31

@Floralsandsmiles have you spoken to your GP at all? When I thought I was having a chemical pregnancy last year, but turned out to probably just be a false positive on a clear blue test, they got me in to do hcg bloods. That's a lot more accurate than the urine tests. Otherwise as @HelloMoon87 says, you can get them done privately

Boymama22 · 12/08/2023 08:32

@HelloMoon87 everything crossed for you that the line gets darker ❤️ it's horrible being in limbo

@Floralsandsmiles that is a great line! My easy at home was definitely not that dark at 14dpo fingers crossed x

19EMMA89 · 12/08/2023 08:33

@Baby3please Glad to hear this , thanks for the reassurance ! I am so glad for this forum , I feel like I'd have lost my head a million times ! Hope everyone is doing good ? I might go and spend another £5028283727 on pregnancy tests today !

Amazing you aren't spotting anymore @HelloMoon87 !! This makes me super happy!! Sending you lots of sticky baby dust!! Xxxx

Do they have these everywhere? I don't even know where I would find one? Xxx

Thing is I was on progesterone tablets (Norethisterone) to help with spotting before AF each month. I had to stop when I got my BFP, so this could be a withdrawal bleed from that... xxx

Baby3please · 12/08/2023 08:40

@sugarplum33 it definitely eased my mind seeing that.

Your line progression looks good I reckon, as long as its getting darker it's a good sign.

@HelloMoon87 I feel like my symptoms eased up/disappeared between 4 and 5 weeks. Had me so paranoid! It still freaks me out but my hcg came back fine. My midwife txted just before to ask where I want to get my ultrasounds done so I guess she's doing my referral for a dating scan now. I'm excited and very nervous!

SurreyPsych · 12/08/2023 09:15

I’m learning so much from reading all of your messages.

I feel so sick at the moment, it’s getting worse by the day. I don’t know how I’ll manage with work. At the moment I’m working from home a lot but in October and November I’ll be commuting 2 hours each way in the car, every day. I am praying this has eased. It’s awful. I’m going on a city break with my husband and son tomorrow and it’s taking all the fun out of it :(

CinderRosie · 12/08/2023 11:56

I just did parkrun (5k run) and my god my boobs were so heavy and sore I’m going to need a better bra! 😳

sugarplum33 · 12/08/2023 12:17

@CinderRosie That's brilliant though, I got a bit sweaty and out of puff running up and down the stairs the other day 🤣

@SurreyPsych You poor thing! That's a hideous commute, is there any flexibility in it? I had a 1hr commute each way in my first pregnancy and I managed for a few weeks driving whilst very, very slowly eating a bag of crisps and sipping a Fanta (I'm not painting myself as the picture of health here am I?!) but I ended up having a few weeks off as it got too tough and I had to keep pulling over. Now I wish I'd tried some medication which is an option you could look into if it worsens? I hope you manage to make the most of city break and the sickness eases for you.

@DauntedAF Congratulations! You must have been on a big journey with the IVF!

@Floralsandsmiles I think it looks darker so hopefully the spotting was nothing.

@Baby3please @hopefulmum46 @CinderRosie @DauntedAF Thanks for the reassurance. Looking at it now completely dry I feel like it's a pretty good line, I don't know what I was hoping to see really haha but I initially felt a twinge of disappointment it wasn't darker?! Sends you mad this!
