Just got my bfp yesterday and EDD is early April 2024. Anyone else similar and feel like keeping each other company?

@Floralsandsmiles have you got a photo? No worries if you’d rather not upload.

I’m so sorry you’re having this worry 😞 🌸

Hi, has anyone had implantation bleeding on dpo 12 or later?

Floralsandsmiles · 10/08/2023 13:29

Hi ladies!
Sorry my last post didn't make sense. I meant - maybe I took the boots early test, too close to the morning wee at 9am this morning (on easy at home). And maybe that's why the boots early one didn't work? I have attached a pic of the boots one.

Anyways I have taken another easy at home now (1pm) and its stronger than this mornings one. I have then attached both this morning and now easy at Homes. And a pic of yesterday's easy at home (11dpo) with the 2 tests from today. It looks good progression now?

So in conclusion, I have no idea what's going on with the boots early detection but hate those tests! The easy at home are far more sensitive than we give them credit for.. and I have no idea why no symptoms today?! FmL today!! Lol xxx

@Floralsandsmiles I'm also a bit worried. Had spotting this morning and symptoms also disappeared this morning. My tests are quite light because I'm dpo 12, but they haven't gotten lighter (just not darker since dpo 11)

Aww I'm sorry to hear this @HelloMoon87 😢 it is perfectly normal to spot during the first 12 weeks I've read, for some it happens through the whole pregnancy! So you have a strong test, not lighter, just an easy day on the symptoms 😊 take that as a win today hun and maybe test in a few days time when af is due? I'm confident we will feel better then 😊 xxx

HelloMoon87 · 10/08/2023 14:05

@Floralsandsmiles only time can tell. I've had two miscarriages where the line was light but never got darker, so a bit nervous overall. Together with spotting and symptoms this morning, I got even more worried. I'll be 4 weeks on Saturday so will wait. When is af due for you? x

Aww hun, here for a hand hold! I'm due Saturday too! So we are both 12dpo today 😊 xxxx

HelloMoon87 · 10/08/2023 15:14

Thank you @Floralsandsmiles 💚🤞

Floralsandsmiles · 10/08/2023 18:51

I'm sorry lovely I know it's such a scary time. Hopefully it doesn't turn into anything more xx

sugarplum33 · 10/08/2023 19:40

@HelloMoon87 Sorry to hear about the spotting but as others have said it is quite common so hopefully nothing to worry about! I've been squinting over my tests as well thinking I haven't had much line progression either but looking at other's tests I think women often get a couple of days that don't show much like progression then the lines darken again. Try not to worry (I should take this advice myself!)

@Floralsandsmiles Sorry you're having a worrying time with spotting too and hope it's all okay for you both. I'm 12dpo too and can't wait for the first 'milestone' of missing my period.

HelloMoon87 · 10/08/2023 19:44

@Floralsandsmiles hope you're ok... It is a rollercoaster...

@sugarplum33 thank you, yes no progression from yesterday to today, but it seems 10-14 dpo is hard to see a really big jump. I'm basically just waiting until 14 dpo and 16 dpo, to get reassurance. With my losses, at 14-16 I had light same BFPs, so it's my own personal milestone... Early pregnancy is a minefield 🤯

sugarplum33 · 10/08/2023 19:49

@HelloMoon87 It really is! With DD I took a test when I missed my period, took one more a week later and that was it, I was totally chill about the whole thing. This time I'm pissing on sticks morning, noon and night and overanalysing everything!

Sorry to hear about your losses, it must make the whole thing even more stressful Flowers

Thank you! Should I be going to a&e and being referred to the pregnancy unit for tests? I'm kind of stuck on what to do? Or do I wait it out and test again tomorrow? Or will it still trick me and say all is OK? (As it takes days for levels to drop?) I don't know what to do? Xxx

HelloMoon87 · 10/08/2023 20:02

@Floralsandsmiles my gp in the past referred to epau to get blood tests. Could you give them a call early morning? I would say monitor the spotting, if it becomes fresh red, then I think you can do blood tests and at home pregnancy tests over 48 hours to know what's going on. If it stops, then it should still be ok, and doing at home pregnancy tests will be still reassuring?

HelloMoon87 · 10/08/2023 20:04

@sugarplum33 I've been testing when I wake up and around lunchtime and leaving at that. I am trying to rest and relax from work and just get to the weekend 😂 it has been a whirlwind of a week

It looked red now unfortunately 😕 and everywhere I read it says you should go straight to a&e, just incase it's ectopic. At the very least they will refer me to the pregnancy unit no? Xxx

sugarplum33 · 10/08/2023 20:20

@Floralsandsmiles Do you have any other symptoms of an ectopic? I would think without any other concerning symptoms you'd be sat up at a&e for hours and hours and there won't be realistically much they can do. EPAUs are normally only open 9-5 so you'd likely have to wait until at least tomorrow for an appointment and many will only see you from 5 or 6 weeks anyway.

Perhaps give 111 a call but it may be a watch and wait situation at such an early stage. Flowers

faban · 10/08/2023 20:37

@Floralsandsmiles I had a CP last month at 4+3 and I didn't go to the dr or Ane just because i didn't think they would do anything. My tests were faint and I knew it was a chemical, a few days later my test was negative. I'm so sorry you're going through this xx

faban · 10/08/2023 20:38

I didn't have any symptoms of ectopic and echoing what @sugarplum33 said my trust only sees from 6 weeks xx

CinderRosie · 10/08/2023 20:39

@Floralsandsmiles so sorry you’ve had such a worrying day 🙁 I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you xxx

@sugarplum33 I’m also looking forward to the weekend, got my first faint BFP last Sunday so it’s been all systems go since then with being at work. My AF is also due Saturday according to Flo, so I want to hurry up and be officially missed.

Floralsandsmiles · 10/08/2023 20:39

Thanks both, I'm going to have to wait this out at home. Devasted. Xxx

HelloMoon87 · 10/08/2023 22:36

I'm sorry @Floralsandsmiles keeping everything crossed for you x

HelloMoon87 · 10/08/2023 22:42

If there is anyone going acupuncture and reflexology, are you continuing after bfp?

Also is anyone taking COQ10 and continuing after bfp?

I am doing all of the above but not since bfp, but wondering what others were doing.

Hope we all have a good night's rest x
