Right ladies! All caught up now!
@faban I agree a Facebook group would be fab. I was on one with my last pregnancy and it was brilliant.
I'm a Starbucks addict and cannot possibly live with no caffeine at all. I have a venti iced caramel latte at least 3 times a week so im
Thinking that can be my treat but I'll ask for one regular shot to get my caffeine fix and two decaf ones.
I also love a cup of tea and drink at least 4-5 a day but thankfully I can't tell the difference between normal and decaf tea so that's not too bad.
@BVIre this is my second and I cannot for the life of me remember when my symptoms started with my daughter. I suffered really badly with nausea and fatigue like I've never experienced in my life in my first trimester but I can't remember when it kicked in. This time though I've got ZERO symptoms so far. I took the test at 9DPO because I'm a serial tester 😂. I genuinely walked away without looking at it as I was certain it was negative. Came back like 2h later and saw the line and was floored. I'm still testing every day and the lines seem to be progressing but otherwise I'd have no idea I was pregnant. No nausea, no sore boobs. Mild cramping/back ache occasionally but just a niggle and something I probably wouldn't even notice if I wasn't so hyper aware.
@Srtdr you have my deepest sympathies with the insomnia. I suffered badly with it in my last pregnancy and I've got the fear it'll happen again. At least last time I could nap when ever I wanted. That's not going to be possible with a 2 year old to take care of this time!
@Baby3please I've told my parents and my best friend. I'm a nightmare and can't keep my mouth shut 😂. But my logic is that I'd tell those people if I had a miscarriage anyway as they're the ones I'd turn to for support.
@Giles1008 congratulations lovely 😊 . Oooh our due dates will be very close then and our eldests are pretty close in age too!
All being said my first pregnancy was nothing to complain about. The first trimester was the worst for me. I've never been so tired in my life, even during the newborn phase. And I wasn't actually sick very much but I felt sick 24/7 until about 13-14 weeks which was grim. Loved the second trimester. I was the stereotypical story of getting all your energy back and feeling great. 3rd was also fine to be fair, only got hard work very close to to the end when I started getting heartburn but did suffer badly with insomnia.
Eeeeek it's so nice to be able to talk about being pregnant again. I'm cautiously optimistic but have a little background anxiety. My daughter was my second pregnancy. My first was a MMC picked up at my 12 week scan and it turned out to be a molar pregnancy which let me tell you...complete shit show. I had to have surgery and it took 6 months for my HCG to return to zero. Molar pregnancies can lead to cancer so you can't try again until you get the all clear so waiting for that was torture. I got a 7 and 9 week scan on the NHS last time due to my history to rule out another molar so hoping they'll do the same again this time 🤞
