@WitcheryDivine I think mine depends on what I'm wearing but the last few days I'm def more bumpy! I feel huge tho I know I'm not 😂

@Salamander91 I've had a few where it feels like baby has flipped over almost like a somersault feeling but I've no idea what I'm feeling, I assume it's baby but until its regular I'm not sure!

@A826 when I was in for my scan a lady there had been in the day before to try and see the gender and they couldn't see! She had to come back the next day, but it was funny cos it was a morning appointment and she'd set up a huge gender reveal for the afternoon and there was no gender to reveal 😂😂 so they just had a baby party! Then she came back the next day, and they did get the gender and they were just gonna have a wee gender cannon reveal with close family! Funny! They did find out that day though... so yeah pretty common the woman at my place said they sometimes have to come back a few times! She was tapping the wand on my stomach for a while getting baby to open his legs 😂💙

I've just booked my whopping cough vaccine for next week, I had forgotten all about it so thanks for the reminder!

On another note, I'd seen a few ladies mention about purchasing the lovall/love leggings. I got a couple of pairs through today and they're amazing! I feel so well supported! I had the cheap asda ones before and you may as well have thrown a bed sheet over my bump. It was just to cover with no support. I bought the sale ones for about £14 per pair as the full price ones are crazy expensive £30+ each.

acm1996 · 04/08/2023 16:14

Hi everyone! Newcomer here from the February thread as I've gone from a 1st February due date by my LMP to a 28th January due date from my dating scan

Any guesses on sex? We're not finding out :-)

Yes!! I feel like an influencer but I’ve told SO many people about them. I love them so much. My H&M ones now feel awful in comparison.

Im saving up to treat myself to a winter pair when it gets colder.

Kalodin · 04/08/2023 16:32

Hey welcome @acm1996 ! I was a bit like you, I though LMP I would be 26th Jan, but first (7 week scan) put me on 1st Feb but then dating scan moved me back into Jan at 29th! How have you been getting on so far with pregnancy?

They do winter pairs! @Mushroo - proper warm ones? Thinking they would be great paired with boots and be good post birth too

Yup! I’ve not tried them yet but the website describes them as ‘fleece lined’. I hope they live up to my high expectations

acm1996 · 04/08/2023 16:39

@Kalodin It's so confusing isn't it! I'm feeling good, just starting to get some energy back now but I can't complain with how the first trimester was, I feel really lucky to have not had many symptoms at all. How about you?

Kalodin · 04/08/2023 17:21

Likewise actually @acm1996 ! Compared to my previous pregnancies, 1st trimester has been a breeze and really feeling better now I've hit 2nd trimester.

Hummusanddipdip · 04/08/2023 17:30

Hey @acm1996 welcome along.

Are the love leggings really that good? I've just sized up my normal matalan ones (ok they're pairs I've had since I was pregnant with ds) and was wondering if actual maternity ones are a good idea.

Is anyone else feeling really naff at all?
I'm a bit sore where I was vaccinated earlier, but I've been up since 2am, tried to get back to sleep but ds was up at 4 and that was his day starting. So I tried to get him to do some jigsaws and watch some TV while I laid on the sofa, kinda worked but he hums a lot when he's concentrating/playing and gets quite loud. I managed to grab a couple hours earlier, but that's given me a headache (slept on the sofa, not the most comfy spot)

Anyways, I'm not feeling sick but I've got a sicky feeling about where the acid kind of settles when you have heartburn, and I feel really weak and shakey, but can't face eating which is usually what I need to do when I feel like this... I've drank loads of water, but that's not really helping either 😭 any ideas, I've taken some gaviscon as a just incase. Luckily ds has gone to my parents for the night and dh is going out when he finishes work so I can just veg 🤣

Mummyme87 · 04/08/2023 18:18

@acm1996 welcome. Looks like a boy to me!

i got love leggings also. Happy with them

Luhou · 04/08/2023 19:17

Sorry to those of you who've just tucked into your Friday night take away.

Anybody struggling witb itchy skin around their genitals. Not vagina specifically just the who region including groin area.

Bims2019 · 04/08/2023 21:35

@RaspberryTime yes exactly, not sure where I thought I'd feel something but thought it would be a bit higher! I've been trying to lie still in the evenings since then and hopefully feel it again, but nothing yet 😂 I'm sure we'll be kicked regularly soon and then we'll wonder why we worried...

@Hummusanddipdip another love leggings fan here, they are thick and comfy so they don't show your pants when you bend down! I found my normal cheap ones in a bigger size kept falling down under my bump, these are much more secure. Only thing is they have already gone a bit bobbly on the inside leg, but it's only really noticeable to me.

@Luhou yes I've experienced that a bit, I think because I've had a bit more discharge than normal and it's been getting a bit warm down there. Sorry that's probably TMI!

sashastuck · 04/08/2023 21:36

@Luhou funny enough a little bit yes, I thought it was irritation from my hair growing back after shaving 🤣🤣

Inmydreams88 · 04/08/2023 21:46

Still no bump here either, I've noticed my pj shorts are definitely getting tighter and I feel bloated, but when I look in the mirror I just look flabby and I don't have a proper bump at all. I had a little panic attack earlier this week that the baby had maybe stopped growing or something because everyone seems to have a bump but me. I'll be 19 weeks on Wednesday and my anatomy scan is Thursday. I thought I'd have a proper bump at nearly 20 weeks!

My back and boobs have been really itchy the past few days.

Bims2019 · 04/08/2023 22:00

@Inmydreams88 I think it's still perfectly normal to not have much of a bump at this stage, it's amazing how different everyone's bodies are! I feel similar about people feeling lots of movement, still don't think it's real even with a bump. Good luck for your scan next week!

I'm also with you on the itchy boobs, need to invest in some aloe vera or something

Hummusanddipdip · 04/08/2023 22:03

@Inmydreams88 please please don't worry, its normal to not have a bump for a while.
At 20 weeks with ds, I looked no different to how I did before I got pregnant. There was nothing noticeable until 25-28 weeks. I'll see if I can dig out a photo from around then.

This time I've exploded 🤣

Hummusanddipdip · 04/08/2023 22:07

Here you go, genuinely just looked a bit bloated/ like I'd not long had dinner.

Also on the itchy boobs, Palmers cocoa butter is brilliant.

Hummusanddipdip · 04/08/2023 22:08

Help if I attached the picture 🤦‍♀️

Mummyme87 · 04/08/2023 22:26

I have a large bump, could pass for 26-28weeks, but it’s my third and I always show quickly. And it’s high up, at the bottom is fat. When I lie down I can palpate my uterus well below my belly button which is where it’s meant to be. It’s at your belly button at around 24wks

LydiaWalker93 · 04/08/2023 22:27

I'm 19 weeks and yeah I don't look pregnant, just that I've had too much cake

Due January Part 5 🎉
Inmydreams88 · 04/08/2023 23:40

@Bims2019 Thank you! Yeah everyone is so different, when I was sat waiting for my 12 week scan I just assumed I’d have a big bump by the 20 scan and it’s not looking likely unless I pop within the week 😂

@Hummusanddipdip ah thank you, that makes me feel better!

@LydiaWalker93 Yep mines the same, all lower down where I usually carry my weight!

Same. Baby number 2 for me. People keep asking if it's twins 🙈

Luhou · 05/08/2023 06:28

Thanks for the reassurance about the itching. Have our gender scan today. Super excited!

flowerpot258 · 05/08/2023 08:06

Had my gender scan yesterday.

It's a.... girl! 🎉

Now to think of names

Kalodin · 05/08/2023 09:27

Congratulations @flowerpot258 , you got any name ideas?

Good luck @Luhou ! Hope you have a lovely scan

I've just whipped up 6 Yorkshire puddings and demolished them myself as I was seriously craving them 😂
