@blodyn91 a toddler free walk sounds like bliss! I have a day out planned without my little one tomorrow and my husband is already saying how wiped out I’ll be by the end of it 😂

Jr1610 · 22/07/2023 21:32

Hi everyone, hope I can join, I’m 8w + 2d due 1st March ish with first pregnancy…. So reassuring to hear everyone else’s experiences especially as we haven’t shared with anyone else yet! Constant nausea is hitting me hard!

ScottishStardust · 22/07/2023 22:00

@krissy12 did they see a yolk sack? I got my hcg results which are a touch lower than they'd expect for my expected dates so back on Monday for more bloods! I guess see from there - depending that outcome it'll be more bloods or a scan.

@Khanga27 @Hiddenvoice I saw a pelvic health Specialist who was amazing and explained it all to me so well
Cause is hypertonic pelvic floors (so it’s all too tight) so the tight and pulls on the SI joint and instability round the pelvis

Cause of sharp pain in glutes/tail bone pain.
Its normal but also treatable! There are yoga poses that you should do all through pregnancy.
I experienced it so bad with my 1st I stopped running at 20weeks, experiencing it this time at 6weeks!!
So getting on the yoga

Are both of you quite active/fit? very common in athletes

I am not as active as I used to be (used to do half marathons pretty regularly before my low blood pressure hit), but I still do lots of walking (did yorkshire 3 peaks in may) and some swimming. I haven't been doing as much yoga as normal recently but did do some cat cow poses to ease my back a bit and it did help. Thank you for reply.

With my first pregnancy I had awful pains in my back and tailbone. I was just told it was my body preparing for the pregnancy and not to worry. Now have a healthy little girl so try not to panic!

Ahh thank you so much this has really helped ease my mind a bit

krissy12 · 22/07/2023 23:16

@ScottishStardust I think so but it definitely took a while to find it I didn't get any bloods taken though so can't help on that hopefully you get some good news on Monday

ScottishStardust · 22/07/2023 23:17

@krissy12 aww that's really good, and good they are rescanning! Sounds positive! Fingers crossed for you xx

Hiddenvoice · 23/07/2023 08:02

I’ve been spotting overnight, phone epu and they said they can see my levels have risen but not doubling so just to wait it out. Im feeling pretty down and worried. My dh is hopeful and trying to stay positive but I just don’t feel it.

fartooldforthis · 23/07/2023 08:03

Hi guys I’m 5+2 and this morning had 1-2 weeks on a clear blue digital .. this is not a great sign is it ?

had some dark brown old blood spotting past few days and cramping but it’s become pinker this morning.

I’m mid 40s so I was not exactly expecting this to happen 🤦🏻‍♀️ at all and the whole thing is stressful.

don’t have any other symptoms no sickness or sore breasts just feel bloated!

March 2024 continued!
LeopardLover · 23/07/2023 09:33

@Hiddenvoice Oh this sounds pretty stressful, sorry 😔 what are your next steps? Will you be rescanned? Sending lots of positive vibes!

@fartooldforthis I hope you're okay, the cramping and bleeding etc sounds stressful too! The test alone isn't necessarily an indicator as those are pretty unreliable (some people never receive 3+ weeks etc). Have you spoken to the EPU? I'm assuming you need to wait until 6 weeks anyway for a scan 😔 x

LeopardLover · 23/07/2023 09:34

@Jr1610 Congratulations! You definitely aren't alone with the nausea 😂😫 I can't wait to be 8 weeks haha x

LeopardLover · 23/07/2023 09:36

@Carysmatic Congratulations! Have you tested again? A line is a line! I didn't test until 18DPO with my son, but tested at 13DPO this time. It's easy to make comparisons but you might have implanted at a different time etc!

EastCoastExile · 23/07/2023 09:50

@fartooldforthis congratulations! I'm 7+5 and 45 next month so I know how you feel!!

1sttimemummn · 23/07/2023 09:58

Hi girls! Just trying to catch up. I joined the previous thread late. I hope everyone is ok. I’m 4 weeks with my second and due 31st March. This wait is so stressful isn’t it xxx

Yeah I’ve been bleeding on and off all morning since posting so think it’s not the best.

nothing I can do really it’s just one of those things you have to wait out to see what happens

EastCoastExile · 23/07/2023 09:50

@fartooldforthis congratulations! I'm 7+5 and 45 next month so I know how you feel!!

Congratulations! I’m 44 and have 3 grown up children already

it’s so weird because it’s shocking to find out at this age when it wasn’t planned but then you get used to the idea and it goes wrong it’s all very stressful and emotionally draining.

Pinkchicken85 · 23/07/2023 12:56

@Sassy90 oh my goodness the bloating is awful for me too. If anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it.
I’m 7 weeks today!

MummyJen04 · 23/07/2023 16:17

Any think or feel they are having twins? 😃

Carysmatic · 23/07/2023 16:19

@LeopardLover yeah tested again yesterday and today and can definitely see a line progression so that's definitely set my mind at ease!

@MummyJen04 aaaaahh don't! Me and hubby both have family history of twins! I've also been so sick already and that's a sign of twins, slightly terrified we could have twins 🙈 obviously they would be a blessing and loved but also it's a bit daunting to think about!

LeopardLover · 23/07/2023 19:18

@fartooldforthis Hope you're holding up okay. Sounds really draining 😔 thinking of you! X

LeopardLover · 23/07/2023 19:20

@MummyJen04 I feel so crap I wouldn't be surprised at all. Although no twins in the family so unlikely 😂 what about you?

@Carysmatic My best friend has twins and they are way easier than my willful toddler - always have been 🤣🙈

MummyJen04 · 23/07/2023 19:26

@LeopardLover no twins in my family. However from a little fun reading, I did have a heavy line straight away, am 35 and breastfeeding that increases your chances apparently 😂 currently feeling awful and vomiting and debating if I have bug or some early morning sickness. I didn’t have any with my boy. I think it will be one baba but who doesn’t love a good read and guessing of genders and twins.

MoreCoffeePlease2 · 23/07/2023 19:36

Hi all - due in late march. Took a test on a whim on Friday.... In a bit of shock. I already have a 14 month old baby and was thinking that we'd wait a bit longer before trying, I've only been back at work for 4 months and know that it probably won't be received so well. Our place is pretty small and a touch worried for the future. It's currently difficult to look forward to all the good things tbh even though I know a new baby is always a blessing. Looking forward to getting to know everyone! Any other mums with a youngish baby as well?

I’m 7 weeks today!

Same and I’m only 5wks but on progesterone as he/she is an ivf baby.

Went to a bbq today and had to really think about hiding my stomach for the first time. It’s going to be a long first trimester!

Lukewarmtea24 · 23/07/2023 20:15

Hello, joining the thread, think I’m about 6 weeks with baby 3!

@MoreCoffeePlease2 that’s the same gap I had with my first two, I love it! They play so nicely together and can do everything together without one being too old/too young. (Quite hard when second was very little, but we were in lockdown…I’m imagining it will be tons easier to be able to get them out/ to the park etc)

I’m actually quite worried about the 3.5 year gap we’ll have with this one (🤞) as don’t want this one to be left out/lonely !
