@Ruthsoph I wake up sometimes 3 times a night for the loo and then can't go back to sleep! I'm a walking zombie right now x

@LeopardLover Yes, I read that they don’t do Doppler any more at 16 week as the baby is so tiny if they can’t find the heartbeat it causes anxiety. So it was a pleasant surprise!!

I did get a video @HKS90 to take to hubby which was really nice!! Pleased my midwife told me to take that.

@Ruthsoph my midwife told me DO NOT buy a Doppler haha although I can totally see why it gives you peace of mind. I imagine they just get lots of people calling saying that something bad has happened and it’s just baby moving or something. Lol.

@Hopefulhoney6 i wasn't going to get one but i have had numerous miscarriages and just needed piece of mind - but i think after the 20 week scan i will start to relax more x
is anyone going to have a gender reveal party? my daughter is 8 so we said we will do something lol x

Yes I also have to get up for a wee every night and then find it hard to get back to sleep! I try to ignore it but then I end up waking up really uncomfortable and it makes the morning sickness worse! So annoying

@Ruthsoph Not a gender reveal party but maybe a baby shower. They aren’t really my thing to be honest but my 7 year old really wants us to have one so she can plan it 😅 Probably just a nice afternoon tea with mums and close friends.

@Ruthsoph @sherbertlemon17 We aren't finding out but I really like those popular reveals with the cake? So it's just the couple and any kids, the colour is baked into the (simple) cake, they close their eyes, put the wine glasses in and then pull them out to reveal the colour? It feels quite low key but cute! 💜 And obvs you just record it. Bonus points for getting a toddler to shout the colour before you open your eyes 😅

Can anyone help me out with 12 weeks test results interpretation pls:

My letter says:
Individual Down's Age chance: 1 in 150
Individual Down's chance at Term is: 1 in 5000 Lower Risk (this line is in bold)

So, does this mean the chance based on my age alone is 1 in 150, but the adjusted risk with the other measurements taken into consideration is 1 in 5000 and so that is the calculated risk??

Anyone else have this working on their letter?

Yes that's exactly right! So YOUR risk (1 in 5000 based on bloods and scan) is much lower than the average for your age (1 in 150) which is a great result ☺️

@GreenBirdy Yes! And like Lily said, that's a very low risk of DS.

This who have taken NIPTs... Did you receive probabilities or just low/high risk? X

@LeopardLover i did NIPT and I got my probability too.

my NHS one was the same - compared to Age (which for me was 1 in 350) and I think it was 1 in 5000.

Ughhhh just had a weird semi-fall out with DP because I still haven’t told my mum. He says it’s really unfair and she’ll be really hurt when she finds out 😕 tbf quite a few people know but not all of them were my choice and they’re also all people I don’t really have to talk about it with…I’ve had 3 DC but also 4 MC and pregnancy makes me so anxious I’d rather just pretend it’s not happening for 9 months and as such the people that know are people that don’t really talk about it. But my mum’s a talker and will quiz me to bits about it all and I just don’t want to do that. But only one of the MC has been with DP so I think he just thinks I’m being weird and irrational. Which I am! But argh now it’s a weird stress and awkwardness between us and I know he’s right and I should just tell her but…bah ☹️
