Awww yeah that was so cute! 🥰

OhmygoshREALLY · 14/09/2023 21:29

Got my scan tomorrow, will be 12+5 I think. Feeling really nervous even though I’ve had 4 private scans already due to paranoia and anxiety 🙈 last one was last week at 11+3 and baby was perfectly happy, kicking about all over the place, but I’m still worried 🙈 hoping after this one I can finally start to relax a bit!

LeopardLover · 15/09/2023 09:02

@OhmygoshREALLY Good luck today! I hope it brings some reassurance 💜x

LeopardLover · 15/09/2023 09:04

@BBno4 I had my NIPT this week and got sent a little video of baby jumping! So sweet.

@Psmama22 Congratulations! Such good news. You're in Ireland, right? How long did your results take? X

LeopardLover · 15/09/2023 09:05

@Sarah25984 How was your scan? 😊 The cramping didn't stop until my second trimester and even now I get the odd twinge. I think loose bowels stopped after about 3 weeks! X

Sarah25984 · 15/09/2023 09:23

@LeopardLover it went well thank you and the cramps have eased loads! Now I’m worried somethings wrong because I’m not getting any symptoms - never happy!xx

LeopardLover · 15/09/2023 09:28

@Sarah25984 So pleased! Hahaha I know it's hard but enjoy that. It's so much better than the alternative 🤮 and give it time... It will most likely come 🙈x

Sarah25984 · 15/09/2023 09:38

@LeopardLover thanks! How far along are you?xx

OhmygoshREALLY · 15/09/2023 15:56

Scan went fine, baby didn’t want to play ball but they got there in the end (after a lot of coughing and jiggling from me) - saw it bouncing around, was great 😊 saw its teeny tiny hands and feet too ❤️

Finally had my blood results back today and all low risk which is fab as I have been so anxious about it, I was so worried that with my age and weight I'd be high risk but to get everything back low is amazing!
I've booked a scan for 16.5 to find out the gender 🩷💙

@Sarah25984 15+3! What about you? ❤️

@OhmygoshREALLY Soooo sweet! Look at that button nose 😍

@Busylizzie85 Oh amazing! 💜 That's exciting xx

OhmygoshREALLY · 15/09/2023 19:29

@Busylizzie85 that’s fab news, now you can relax and enjoy pregnancy!

Anyone else still feeling a bit crappy? I’m a bit behind most of you, 13w tomorrow and still feeling pukey on and off. Also absolutely beyond exhausted and ready for bed by 9pm most nights…when does the second trimester energy come back 🤣

BBno4 · 16/09/2023 06:48

I'm still getting head rushes, bloating and crazy tiredness.

macki · 16/09/2023 08:02

Had my dating scan 12+2 on Thursday which seemed fine but was face down, they still managed to get measurements but they decided to move my date forward 4 days which is crazy because I know when I ovulated so very confused! I’m now 13+1 due 22nd March. Such a relief as it’s first time I’ve had any confirmation and I’ve been so anxious. Still feeling slightly sicky but it’s easing off

LeopardLover · 16/09/2023 09:13

@macki Congratulations!! I was moved by 6 days even though it I knew when I conceived. 😅 Interestingly, when I was scanned a few weeks later the sonographer said I was 2 days behind. I guess it's all mm so open to interpretation 😊 this happened to my son too, and I gave birth at 41+3!

Scarletthoping · 16/09/2023 10:37

@OhmygoshREALLY 13+2 here and still feeling pukey and so so tired 😴 Hoping things ease soon and my energy returns!

NWnature · 16/09/2023 11:24

Hi all- glad to hear 12 week scans have been going well and symptoms are easing off for people. I just got back from a two week holiday which was great in some respects for taking my mind off but am now in full force worry for my scan on Monday. Fingers crossed all is ok. I’m also worrying about screening etc as I am 36 and have overweight BMI (not too bad but didn’t shift all of baby no1 weight as time to exercise just evaporated when I went back to work!). I was sick a few times whilst away but generally think nausea has reduced loads. Still shattered though!
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hopefulhoney6 · 19/09/2023 13:17

Heard the heartbeat on the Doppler this morning at my 16w scan, which was very nice 😊 Just good to know that it’s still ok in there!!!

Hopefulhoney6 · 19/09/2023 13:18

16w appointment not scan is what I should have said!

LeopardLover · 19/09/2023 13:30

@NWnature How was your scan? ☺️

@Hopefulhoney6 That's so lovely! Our trust don't use a doppler anymore until 20 something weeks I think, although in my last pregnancy I managed to convince the Midwife to use one and let me record the heartbeat. I might try again this time 🤣x

Aquarius93 · 19/09/2023 16:36

@Hopefulhoney6 what a lovely moment! Our trust doesn’t use a Doppler at the 16 week appointment either. This is my second baby so I don’t think I have an appointment after that until 28 weeks!

HKS90 · 19/09/2023 16:57

@Hopefulhoney6 me too!! Such a special moment 😍 took ages though as my placenta is at the front and every time the midwife found baby they wiggled out of the way before we got a good listen 😂 did you get a recording? She let me take one on my phone for hubby as he couldn’t be there and I’ve been listening to it all day!

LeopardLover · 19/09/2023 17:33

@Aquarius93 Same here! It's going to be a long wait 🙈

Lily124 · 19/09/2023 21:19

Finally had my scan today! All looked good and risks were all low which is good news. Due to date moved forward one day to 30th March! Still feeling a bit sicky but is definitely getting better so hopefully won't last too much longer 🤞 so exciting those of you that got to hear the heartbeat at 16 week appointment ❤️

How is everyone doing - my symptoms have pretty much gone now - i brought a Doppler so that puts my mind at rest.
Does anyone keep waking in the night to do a wee and then find it so hard to get back to sleep? this is happening to me most nights now and its so annoying.
have 20 week scan in 4 weeks and its dragging now - i have told close family but we are waiting until 20 week scan to announce it properly x
