@Bali200 anxiety has gotten real bad this week too. I had a private scan at 6+6, all good, and I am 9+5 today. Have another private scan on Sunday and feel like I am holding my breath until then to be told all is ok still 🤞🏼 Im not feeling as sick anymore but currently lying in bed beside my work laptop, moving the mouse sensor every now and again so teams doesnt go inactive🫣 i am shattered! Lol

@PeeBeee the anxiety is building a lot with me too! I’m 10 weeks today, had an early scan at 7+1 but nothing since and I’m terrified that it’ll be bad news at the dating scan 😐 I’ve got mine on the 7th so early at 11+4 but im almost too scared to go!!
I had a MMC in my 8th week after seeing a heartbeat at 7 weeks before so I know all too well the possibilities 😩😞

@Bali200 I've had the same. Midwife this week said its normal as your HCG peaks at 9 weeks and that's what causes the symptoms and the placenta will be starting to work.

I'm very anxious,.just waiting for a date for my 12 week scan.

@PeeBeee I'm doing that too - moving my mouse to keep my status "active"! I'm definitely in the camp of do only what's necessary for work atm! Hope I'll get my focus (and energy) back soon. I'm 11 weeks today and do feel less nauseous at least.

I work evenings (restaurant owner) so don’t need to be working now but I just can’t get myself to move!! I feel soooo lazy!!! Trying to let myself off the hook and not let the guilt in but this is so not me that it’s hard 🫣

My anxiety is heating up again too!
I've had two scans and feel so positive for days then as the next one looms I cannot sleep again!

11 weeks tomorrow though and scan on the 8th!
It's afternoon when DP has finished work but wish is was morning to be done with . I'll be stressing all day!!!

@PeeBeee @amyg1985 that made me laugh out loud, I’m doing the exact same thing!! And hoping that nobody can somehow see that I’ve just been moving the mouse for the whole day 😂 I have no energy at all! 9+4 here and still pretty nauseous 🥲 can’t wait to feel better!

Oooooo I had my scan yesterday!!! My due date has moved from the 8th to the 6th and everything looks good!!
Just waiting for the combined blood test results now 🤞 I was told if I'm high risk this time the NHS now offers NIPT which sounds a lot less invasive than the Amnio, which I had when I was high risk with my first baby!

@Kelb79 I went back to bed at 11 for a lie down and woke at 1.30 😂 I know the struggle lol it’s like someone has drugged me some days and even going for a walk feels like a mammoth task.
I’ve also picked up a virus of sorts, sore throat, voice is pretty much gone and a very sore cough. Annoying as there’s so little we can take for things like this.

@AbsolutePlonker Congrats on ur scan yesterday, I can’t wait to get my 12 week scan over me and hopefully feel less anxious about things. What is the next scan after that does anyone know/remember, is it 16 weeks?

I'm struggling with work as well with exhaustion and anxiety. I had quite a lot of TOIL (time off in lieu) built up, and things are much quieter than usual in the summer, so I am using it up doing a couple hours less work every day so that I can nap at lunchtime guilt free!
I'm 9w4d now, my 12 week scan is on 11 August and it feels so far away. After having a miscarriage in March I'm full of dread that things could go wrong again. Last night when I couldn't sleep (so annoying, I'm struggling to stay awake all day then anxiety keeps me awake at night) I was considering getting a 10 week scan next week but I think I can hold out.

@DmcinT sorry you're feeling poorly and you shake off the virus soon. I think the next scan is 20 weeks - just a check in appointment at 16.

@DmcinT i didn’t get dressed until 2:30pm 🤣🤣 literally ended up back in bed!! 🫣 I’m at work now and totally procrastinating! 🤣 luckily I’m the boss 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t know if I’m premature in announcing this but I actually feel like my nausea might be a bit better today 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’m sure that comment will gone back to bite me on the arse by this evening but ever hopeful!! 🤣🤣

@Hankthehonk My 12w scan is on the 11th too and I've also had a MC in the past. The wait feels unbearable, doesn't it? I have to keep reminding myself that it's just two weeks and a day, not months away! I'll probably post a picture of my scan as soon as I have it. My appointment is at 08:30, thank goodness, so I don't have to be pacing around all day. Is yours early too?

@DmcinT it's at 20 weeks - I booked my next scan before I left the hospital today. Feels a longggg way away but I know it'll go fast!!

@AbsolutePlonker & @amyg1985 thanks, god 20 weeks seems like another long wait after 12 weeks 😅 or am I just very impatient, I’d see baby every week if I could I think🫣 maybe once we’re telling ppl though and it’s not a whole mission to hide it, it’ll be easier

@Kelb79 we are on the same vibe today, was about that time I got dressed & went for a walk, the only productive thing I’ve done all day to be honest lol although fair play to u in work, is it a late finish in the restaurant? Im just 11 weeks now and I do think nausea & sickness has been a lot better/eased over the last week. I’m living for this boost of energy ppl talk about in the second trimester 🙌🏽

My nausea was easing up but yesterday while making dinner I threw something in the bin and there was a banana skin in there that smelled so ripe, so I started gagging, ran to the bathroom and my partner had just been in there so the thought of that was making it worse. I had to get to a window and breathe air from outside for a few minutes. 😂

@Cheetocat Cool we're having our scans at the same time! Mine is at 9am thankfully so no hanging around. Two weeks tomorrow really isn't that far right?!

Omg so jealous of all you napping mamas 😂 I’ve been at an all day conference in the city, had to leave at 5:45am and I’m still only on my way home now 🫠

Highlight of the day was realising I needed the loo for a number two, running to the toilet between sessions and leaving everyone sitting waiting for me for 15 mins due to the goddam constipation!!!!!!

Ah @User0224 that’s tough going on a full on day, are ur days usually so full on or can u chill tomorrow? Great news on the number 2 though😂😂 makes such a difference.

anyone else in Aug 1st for their 12 week scan (I’ll only be 11 +4 or 5 so hopefully they can see everything they need) what are all the things they look for on this first one does anyone know?

My 12 week scan is on 8th August. I want it to be now! 11 weeks tomorrow! Woohoo. I love an afternoon nap these days!
