Age: 38
Baby Number: 2
Weeks: 11
Current Symptoms: still very tired, but nausea has definitely reduced last couple of days and I've been able to eat more. Food aversions still there to a degree, and I feel a bit fuzzy headed and hungover
Current Feelings: trying not to get ahead of myself, because I feel anxious. I'm grateful to feel better, but nervous symptoms are reducing. Had a good scan at 8 weeks but nervous for the next one

Ebonythoughts · 23/07/2023 15:15

Age: 34
Baby Number: 1
Weeks: 11+5 weeks
Current Symptoms: still tired and nauseous but less bloated. Boobs still sore and have some aches around my pelvis area and back that I’m told is normal. Also acne, no one said my skin would be so oily 😳
Current Feelings: trying to relax a bit more. I think I’ve spent the whole pregnancy so far anxious and it’s just made me miserable. I’ve accepted the fact some of these symptoms may stay for the full 9 months and I need to have a better mental attitude to be able to enjoy this journey. Trying to be excited but I think each milestone will just be a sign of relief ❤️

poppychunks · 23/07/2023 15:58

@PeeBeee our age, dates and our scans are almost exactly the same. Thought that was a funny coincidence.

Age: 33
Baby Number: 1
Weeks: 9+2
Current Symptoms: food aversions, very tired, oily skin, hungry
Current Feelings: anxious but trying to stay positive. Had scan at 6+5 which reassured us for a few weeks but now can’t wait for our scan at 10+3. And then have our nhs scan on 16th August. My symptoms started to improve at 8 weeks which has made me worry so Just looking forward to have the next scan next week. We started to tell close friends and family and feel like that’s added extra pressure to the pregnancy. So looking forward to knowing everything is okay.

xTinkerbell · 23/07/2023 16:54

@DmcinT I got married a few weeks at 9 weeks. I found out a week later that one of my aunties was asking people if I was pregnant that day

AllAboardTootToot · 23/07/2023 17:14

@poppychunks I’m 8+4 (est.) and my symptoms are starting to subside. We had a scan on Saturday morning with such a strong heartbeat so don’t worry too much about symptoms starting to ease ❤️

User0224 · 23/07/2023 17:18

Age: 31

Baby Number: 2

Weeks: 8+6

Current Symptoms: food aversions, very tired, flitting between being super hungry and having no appetite at all. Not very nauseous anymore except when I drink sparkling drinks. On and off brown spotting.

Current Feelings: So anxious. Having a scan late next week because baby had a low-ish heart rate at 7 weeks and they spotted a large subchorionic haemorrhage so just need some reassurance. Other than that, cranky as hell. Can’t stop losing my shit over tiny things 😂

sludgefactory · 23/07/2023 18:06

Age: 32
Baby number: 1
Weeks: 9 today
Current symptoms: Constant nausea, burping, trapped wind, constipation, sore boobs, fatigue.
Current feelings: Anxiety mostly, plus completely exhausted and feeling sick all the time is taking it out of me. I’ve lost so much weight because I can barely eat and I’m worried about the effect on the baby.

Nemo145 · 23/07/2023 19:31

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Literally could have written that myself.
Age: 38
Baby Number: 2 (pregnancy number 7)
Weeks: 11
Current Symptoms: very tired with nausea and get full very quickly. Boobs are massive!
Current feelings: Extremely Nervous and anxious. Had a scan on Tuesday at 10+2 which was good, next one isn’t till 3rd Aug and I’m already worried something will have gone wrong.

Golaz · 23/07/2023 20:06

Age: 39
Baby number: 3
Weeks: 9+3
Current symptoms: Constant nausea, constant vomiting 😫😫😢, aversion to all food, excessive gas, bloating
, constipation, bowel cramps, sore boobs, fatigue.
Current feelings: utterly miserable with the constant vomiting, extreme nausea and profound exhaustion. Can barely function and am juggling looking after to toddlers, a house move and a new job. Really I should be signed off and just in bed. No idea why I thought this was a good idea to do this to myself right now 😢😢😢😭. Just desperate for these symptoms to ease off soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.

Clomid1 · 23/07/2023 20:24

Age : 32
baby number : 2
Weeks : 10+5 (based on LMP)
Current symptoms: Tired 🥱 and that’s about it 😅 Just like my first pregnancy
Current feelings : not really believing it until I see a scan so I am in denial at the moment 😂

Bali200 · 23/07/2023 20:25

Age: 33
Baby number: 1
Weeks: 9+4
Current symptoms: Nausea in late afternoons and evenings, bloating, excessive gas, sore boobs, fatigue, regular headaches, strong smell and food aversions.
Current feelings: anxious and worried, about pregnancy but also about trying to hide it from my new job.

mumtotwox · 23/07/2023 20:36

Age: 25
Baby Number: 3
Weeks: 9+5
Current Symptoms: Just tiredness in the afternoon
Current Feelings: Super excited to find out if we are having another boy or introducing a girl into the family 💙💓

Sunshineclouds11 · 23/07/2023 20:54

Age: 31
Baby number: 2
Weeks: 11+1
Current symptoms: fatigue, bloating, gas, massive boobs(normally a B🙈)
Current feelings: anxious, excited for my boy to be a big brother

PeeBeee · 23/07/2023 21:05

@poppychunks oh so similar! I may add very emotional too. Went to see the Barbie movie with friends earlier and I cried 3 times at it. Also caught myself in the bathroom mirror and thought yikesss. The bloat and weight gain is making me look very pregnant and I haven’t told my friends yet. If all is well, I will tell them after next weeks scan cuz this tummy is not fooling anyone! Lol

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 23/07/2023 21:30

@Nemo145 very similar, except my boobs def couldn't be described as massive unfortunately

@Golaz I'm so sorry. The constant sickness with a new job is enough in itself, but chuck in a house move also, and you've so much on your plate. Hoping it improves for you soon. Did it go away in 2nd trimester with your other two?

Mangotango39 · 23/07/2023 23:02

For those with oilier skin , I read an old wives tale that's a sign for a girl!!!

Mine is extremely dry which apparently means boy!
Although we are having a surprise 😍

poppychunks · 24/07/2023 02:03

@PeeBeee oh goodness, I'm going to see the Barbie movie this week. Thanks for the heads up. I'll bring some tissues.

@AllAboardTootToot that's wonderful news that you had a good scan. Will try to enjoy feeling a bit better without being worried. Hopefully will have good news at our scan next week too.

I had a baby girl last time, all my eyelashes fell out and grew back really short. And my eyebrows completely stopped growing, it was awful😄
Girls steal your beauty apparently 🤣

Omg this happened to me too!

Meeting · 24/07/2023 07:57

I've heard of girls stealing your beauty!

I've always wondered if it was true when pregnant women say they just knew what they were having, no feelings for me as of yet but maybe I don't have that extra sense haha

CrazyRosa · 24/07/2023 08:47

My nose also got really bulbous. I dont know how to describe it but it got really swollen and big at the tip. My husband claimed not to noticed but it was only a few months ago that my mom and sister both agreed with me, they were too scared to say anything at the time🤣 I thought I was having a boy, thought I saw something on one of the scans. I was very wrong!
So I'm going to say girl again this time, my husband is saying boy. We just have another 6.5 months left to find out who's right!

Nemo145 · 24/07/2023 09:42

Has anyone had a Harmony or similar sort of test?

Mangotango39 · 24/07/2023 09:43

@Nemo145 it's offered where I am but it was really expensive . We opted out . Maybe we are scared I'm not sure but I think we just wanted to wait till further along to see how things progress naturally . It's such a tough choice!

EMHME · 24/07/2023 09:48

Great idea @Mangotango39. I read this thread every day and follow along with you, but I'm useless at actually posting. This is a good way in to participating!

@Nemo145 My scan is the same day as yours. 🙂

Age: 36
Baby Number: 1
Weeks: 12+1
Current Symptoms: Heavy boobs, leg cramps, occasional bouts of dizziness.
Current Feelings: Relieved to FINALLY have my scan date, and that it's (just!) before I go away on holiday! Dying to start telling people now I'm 12 weeks (and sick of faking drinking) but too nervous to do so before the scan. I'll be 13+4 on scan day. Everything was fine at my last scan at 10+6 but a lot can happen in three weeks. I'm partly worried about another MC and partly worried that I'm jinxing it by not being worried enough... 🙄

xTinkerbell · 24/07/2023 09:51

@Meeting I knew with DS and DD. I was so certain with DS that people thought I had found out and didn’t tell them. DD I wasn’t quite as sure of but I was more girl than boy. I didn’t get that feeling with them until later on in my pregnancies though
