Thank you everyone scan went well but I'm only measuring as 10+5 so need a rescan in 2 weeks, all looks fine though! Just waiting to see consultant now!
Then can hopefully enjoy the rest of my birthday! Xx

ChloeN · 05/07/2023 13:23

@Brokenpancreas94 ahh thats great news glad it went okay! Did you measure a bit behind at your early scan too? X

Brokenpancreas94 · 05/07/2023 13:26

@ChloeN yeah I was 8+2 then I think but measured 7+5 something like that! Xxx

ChloeN · 05/07/2023 13:27

@Brokenpancreas94 oh definitely makes sense then for you to be a few days out 🥰 xx

Brokenpancreas94 · 05/07/2023 13:31

@ChloeN was moving about so much! I had to lay on my side just to try and get measurements 😂 she said it might be that baby just hasn't stretched out xx

WitcheryDivine · 05/07/2023 13:36

Brokenpancreas94 · 05/07/2023 13:46

Ah moving loads defiantly sounds as a very positive thing! What a great birthday news ❤️

Brokenpancreas94 · 05/07/2023 16:01

Thank you @vvit @Ladyinpink1 @tulipsunday
Don't understand why I'm only 10+5 and not 11+5 as my last period was 14th April, guess it goes by ovulation? But even then I did ovulation tests...I don't understand but scan was all okay so I guess that's something

ChloeN · 05/07/2023 16:56

@Brokenpancreas94 what cycle day did you ovulate? Xx

suz2285 · 05/07/2023 17:28

@Brokenpancreas94 yeah what Chloe said, it might be the difference between what cycle day you ovulated, normal cycle length and then how long it took to implant/test positive, those could all easily add up to a week total...

Brokenpancreas94 · 05/07/2023 18:01

Roughly day 16 or 17 and my cycle length varies each month...usually between 29-33days! I thought I noted it in one of my apps when I did an ovulation test but apparently not! @ChloeN @suz2285

ChloeN · 05/07/2023 18:04

@Brokenpancreas94 I think with a few days later ovulation that it would make sense for you to be measuring a bit behind!🥰

Brokenpancreas94 · 05/07/2023 18:12

@ChloeN oh good, it just feels like it's going even SLOWER now 😂😂xx

vvit · 05/07/2023 18:19

@Brokenpancreas94 with my first child I was about 10 days off! I think I ovulated very late (didn't track anything with the first) and then he was born only 20% percentile, and always been on a smaller side.
Don't worry they won't date due until 12 weeks and then maybe keep in mind that I could be closer to your dates and be ready heh

ChloeN · 05/07/2023 18:37

@Brokenpancreas94 how annoying you’ve got an extra week🤣xx

WhiteHorse92 · 05/07/2023 19:44

@Brokenpancreas94 great news! Must be a huge relief 🙂 Trying not to read too much into the early scan measuring 1 week behind but I'm still convinced on Friday I won't be 12 weeks I'll be 11 😅. The sickness and appetite has been so much better lately but last couple of days I've been struggling to eat meals again 🥴

Brokenpancreas94 · 05/07/2023 19:50

@ChloeN @WhiteHorse92 @vvit feel like whenever I get closer to 12 weeks it's pushed back 😂the nausea for me hasn't been too bad but I'm still so tired! Xx

ChloeN · 05/07/2023 21:19

@Brokenpancreas94 at least they’re rescanning so you can see the baby again!

EMHME · 05/07/2023 21:19

Hello 👋
I'd love to join this thread if that's ok. I've been posting (mostly lurking really) on the due February 2024 thread but I recently had a scare and didn't feel right posting about it there, didn't want to bring the mood down I guess. So maybe this thread is a better place for me - pregnancy is a different kind of challenge once you've experienced loss, isn't it?

I'm currently 9+3, pregnancy number 3. I had a loss in December and another in April. Both were around 10/11 weeks but measuring much smaller, more like 6.5 weeks. My EPU have been amazing and offered me three reassurance scans (of which I've had 2 so far), plus an extra one today after I had a scary big bleed on Monday. Baby has been measuring exactly right for the dates and has a lovely heartbeat. 🥰 I know I've technically got past this point in both previous pregnancies but I'm pretty sure I've never had a 9-week measuring baby in there before so it feels like a real milestone to reach. I'm still plagued with anxiety about it all, but lately I'm even more worried that I've got too comfortable and started taking it for granted. I know you can't jinx a pregnancy, but that is how I'm starting to feel!

Sorry for the giant essay, and congratulations on all of your pregnancies. Hope to see lots of rainbow babies in this thread in time. 😊

ChloeN · 05/07/2023 21:29

@EMHME hi lovely! Sorry to hear of your previous losses😔 definitely sounds like good news that the baby is measuring on track with a heartbeat especially at the stage you’re at!xx

suz2285 · 06/07/2023 07:46

@EMHME welcome! Completely understand about lurking in the other groups, I feel like everything is 'if' and not 'when' baby arrives, and it's hard when everyone else seems so laid back and sure all is ok!

Sounds like everything is going great for you so far, I was the same we had a loss in March at 8 weeks though baby was only 7 ish weeks and we'd never seen a heartbeat, I've had 2 scans this time and baby was 9 + 5 when I last seen them and looked great... I've got my 12 week scan on Friday and I'm terrified! Just want baby to be healthy, it's the testing I'm worrying about now! 🙈 but it's scary to have even got this far as well.... and not to mention having to tell anyone!!!

Anyway, needless to say we're all in the same position navigating pregnancy after loss is completely different! Though there are several ladies on the Jan thread that have also had MCs and various other challenges.... it's nice to have a space like this totally agree ❤️

HopeAndStrength · 06/07/2023 08:12

Hi everyone, glad to find this thread although I'm sorry for what everyone has been through.
I'm hopefully 10+5 today but haven't had a scan yet (booked in for 12+4).
My MC happened at 12 weeks last time, so I can't help worrying about the run up to that milestone. Time seems to be moving slowly!
