@tulipsunday well I've near ran several people over/crashed into cars cos I don't think my brain is working right

Today alone I've dropped a can of juice open and the remains of my tomato soup all over the floor... it's def a thing 😂

Also I thought it was coming into autumn, go away heat!!

tulipsunday · 04/09/2023 15:09

Lol oh no what a pain glad it's not just me.

Have my 20 week scan and combined fetal echo tomorrow, so nervous. As I've been having so many antihistamines a day...not that they're working, I mean I know it will likely be okay but can't shake that feeling that it's not going to be. It will be a year next week since the 12 week scan for my previous pregnancy which ended so September is such an odd month for me, I get so superstitious with things! X

ChloeN · 05/09/2023 16:28

@Brokenpancreas94 good luck for tomorrow lovely I’ll be thinking of you🥰 I agree with the month thing! I found it a bit weird round the due date too!

suz2285 · 05/09/2023 16:32

@Brokenpancreas94 everything will be fine 🤞 hopefully you'll feel a lot better after the scan etc, and you'll know if 💙 or 💖 wee!

All the ladies in my previous group are having their babies now! Which is so exciting but yeah, if I wasn't pregnant again I think I'd be super upset but I'm happy for them... I'd be approaching my original due date at the end of this month! I haven't really thought about it too much cos I'm completely focused on this baby now, but I know it's different for everyone 🥰

tulipsunday · 05/09/2023 18:21

@Brokenpancreas94 aw is natural to be nervous and you have gone through a lot. I am sure it will go perfectly though and how exciting to find out if a boy or girl 🥰

@ChloeN @suz2285 @tulipsunday thank you all! ❤️ I'm hoping I will feel better, and hoping I get some relief from these hives because the antihistamines that I am taking don't seem to be working now, just feeling so fed up, itchy and sick 😞

TheBirdintheCave · 06/09/2023 08:27

On Sunday I found out I was pregnant naturally after three miscarriages (two MMCs and one IVF chemical). I'm posting here in the hopes you all understand my extreme anxiety.

Do these tests seem ok to you or am I having (as I suspect) another chemical? They are from Sunday 10dpo and yesterday 12dpo. I was hoping to see a much bigger difference in the shades of blue ☹️

I'm taking progesterone so I'm worried that is masking any bleeding I might be having otherwise.

To clarify they're taken under as close to the same test conditions as I could. Both are SMU (as this always gives me darker results) with no liquid intake though the holds are different. Three hours for the first and two for the second as I couldn't hold it any longer.

suz2285 · 06/09/2023 09:06

@TheBirdintheCave totally understand the anxiety. I don't think these clear blue are very good for looking at line darkness, i feel they're more useful for am i or am i not pregnant and it certainly looks like you are! So Congratulations!

It's such a horribly anxious time in the early stages, but it doesn't look like there's anything to worry about yet, still really really early and those are two good positive tests. 😁

TheBirdintheCave · 06/09/2023 09:45

@suz2285 You're probably right as they do all dry funny. I wish FRER wasn't discontinued 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

I just want this baby to be the one and to never have to go through this ever again 😭

suz2285 · 06/09/2023 10:13

@TheBirdintheCave i just used cheap strips from amazon, but i'd really say try not to test too much as it'll just drive you crazy.

Oh 100% i said the exact same to my husband this time, no one deserves to go through any type of pregnancy loss, nevermind multiple! I've got everything crossed for you 😘

Brokenpancreas94 · 06/09/2023 10:22

@TheBirdintheCave all my tests were very faint for this pregnancy! I didn't get dark lines till about a week after my missed period! I was told first response are the best, I've not used them though! Good luck

tulipsunday · 06/09/2023 10:28

@TheBirdintheCave ahh I so understand the anxiety. I was certainly nervous this pregnancy after two consecutive miscarriages. God didn't realise FRERs have been discontinued spent loads on those in the past 😂 Your clear blue tests look like clear positives so will keep everything crossed for you!

Hey everyone I had an IVF FET which was successful and I should be 6 weeks pregnant right now. About 2 weeks ago I had very faint pink when I wiped which scared the crap out of me, but nothing since. Have had 2 missed miscarriages in the past 7 weeks+ which I only found out about after the same thing happened with pink blood 🥺 so as you can imagine I'm pretty anxious right now.
Since week 5 my pregnancy symptoms have really kicked in...tiredness, falling asleep early every night, pain coming and going in boobs and just this week absolutely insatiable hunger!!

Am really hoping this is a positive sign and all will be good next week at my 7 week scan.
IVF consultant advised having a womb biopsy to check for infection after 2nd miscarriage, but as I'd had a healthy pregnancy in-between them I thought this was perhaps a bit of an overreaction???
Feel like the days are going so slowly at the moment, I just want to get to this 7 week scan, so that I can breathe for 5 seconds before worrying about getting to the next one 😩🙈

suz2285 · 06/09/2023 15:09

@SparkleFly glad you're being scanned soon , i did find the early scans reassuring though some people dont! Sounds like all positive signs, early bleeding probably implantation, but sounds all good!

I guess at least with the consultant they are looking at possible causes but doesn't seem like an infection at all. Hopefully all will be good this time around, everything crossed for you!

Brokenpancreas94 · 06/09/2023 18:20

Hi all! Scan went well, and we are having a baby boy! 💙💙 daughter is over the moon, as am I!
Have to go back next week for the fetal echo again though as he wasn't behaving and the consultant couldn't view the heart as clearly as she wanted

tulipsunday · 06/09/2023 18:25

Amazing! Congratulations on your baby boy. 💙 Funny had literally just come on mumsnet to see how you had got on and you had just posted.
