@suz2285 how many weeks are you? I ordered my pram and car seat when I was like 14 weeks lol because there was a wait, and I was impatient 🤣

suz2285 · 23/08/2023 13:42

@ChloeN I'll be 20 weeks on sat 😂 we don't have a load of storage space tho and we need to rearrange our lounge, buy a new sofa and a new car as well! I'm still researching what I actually want as well! Too many choices!! 😂🙈 I've bought one outfit so far and a lullaby toy/white noise toy, oh and a book?!

How's you and baby girl getting on? X

suz2285 · 23/08/2023 13:42

@ChloeN also I'm buying everything second hand so no waiting 😂😂

tulipsunday · 23/08/2023 14:18

@Brokenpancreas94 sorry you are still getting hives not fun. Hot in the south today which is nice but I am finding I don't cope with it as well when pregnant.

Thinking mine is a boy due to 'stacked nub' on the 12wk photo. Nub techs guessed boy. Has been a different pregnancy to my son though. Excited to find out will be happy either way xx

@tulipsunday I've got to have a kidney scan now as well, it's never ending this pregnancy is 100% taking its toll on me 😂 but it'll be worth it! Someone sent me a Doppler scanner and I heard the heartbeat for the first time last night that was nice! (I know there is a lot of negativity surrounding the Dopplers)

Our nub theory thing says boy too! Good luck for tomorrow ❤️

tulipsunday · 23/08/2023 15:57

@Brokenpancreas94 aw that's lovely 💖 nice to have those moments to keep you going amongst all the medical bits

OP posts:
Brokenpancreas94 · 23/08/2023 19:22

@tulipsunday it was nice! Didn't hear it for long as baby scarpered away 😂

ChloeN · 23/08/2023 19:43

@Brokenpancreas94 I used a Doppler all throughout pregnancy too, couldn’t of done it without it, really helped my anxiety!

@suz2285 oh bloody hell lol🤣 you’ve got a lot going on! We’re doing really well🥰🥰 she now weighs 8lb so I think feeding is going good!

RegardingPersephone · 23/08/2023 19:57

Getting a lot of anxiety coming back now! All was fine at the 12 week scan and I was very reassured but the further away I get from that the more I imagine something has gone wrong. I'm 16 and a half now and a bit concerned I haven't got too much of a bump etc but I know everyone is different!

Brokenpancreas94 · 23/08/2023 20:37

@ChloeN I could sit and listen to their heartbeat all day!

@RegardingPersephone in my first pregnancy I was slimmer than I am now and I didn't get a bump till I was around 20 weeks! One day I just "popped"
I'm 18 weeks now and you still can't really tell that I'm pregnant either but I weigh more now too!

suz2285 · 24/08/2023 07:16

@RegardingPersephone totally get that, I had a scan at 16 weeks cos I knew I wouldn't last till 20! Now I've got a bump and can feel movement but I'm still worried as the bump looks more some days and less other days, and movement is the same, some more days than others! I've got my 20 week scan on Friday morning and I've been so anxious all week!

I'm almost halfway now and I still can choose to look pregnant or not depending what I wear, but I'm not mad about that tbh! Every time I tell someone I still feel weird about it... so I'm glad not to be massive yet at this stage! 😂

tulipsunday · 24/08/2023 08:38

@RegardingPersephone yes 16 week is a weird one as still feels a while to the 20 week. Very typical to not have much of a bump. With my first pregnancy I did a social media post at 20wks about my pregnancy and lots of my colleagues hadn't noticed. Tummy bigger this time but does fluctuate in size still x

WhiteHorse92 · 24/08/2023 08:51

I have a very obvious bump that looks pretty big in the evening and about the same size as when I was 30+ weeks in first pregnancy and I'm 19 weeks now 😅 In first pregnancy though I don't think I had anything obvious until after 20 weeks!

tulipsunday · 24/08/2023 13:16

All went well at 20wk scan 🥰 Baby boy on the way 💙 so I guessed right. Enjoy yours tomorrow @suz2285

suz2285 · 24/08/2023 13:25

@tulipsunday welcome to the boy club 😂💙 did you have any strong feeling either way? I've been saying boy right from the beginning but no idea why!

tulipsunday · 24/08/2023 13:28

I really thought this one was a boy even though pregnancy has been different from my son - more nausea, tiredness etc. Feel a little pang I won't get to experience a daughter as we are stopping at two but I am really excited for my son to have a brother and hopefully a good bond. Exciting times ahead.. nice to have some positivity after last year's crap. Good luck to everyone awaiting scans totally understand the nerves xxx

@tulipsunday that's lovely news congrats 😊

tulipsunday · 24/08/2023 13:40

Thanks @WhiteHorse92 hope you are doing ok. Your bump comment made me laugh i can definitely relate 😂

ChloeN · 24/08/2023 19:49

@tulipsunday ahh glad it all went well! And he showed you that he was a boy at least! I really feel for people who want to find out and the babies don’t co operate 🤣

Brokenpancreas94 · 24/08/2023 20:18

@tulipsunday congratulations! How exciting! That's why I thought we are having a boy because this time has been so different! Probably end up being a girl haha xx

tulipsunday · 24/08/2023 20:52

@Brokenpancreas94 how long till you find out?

Yep @ChloeN first few seconds of scan the sonographer was like do you want to know the sex? Showed straight down between the legs and was no mistaking he didn't even need to say anything 😂

Hi everyone, I’d like to jump on this thread as just got my BFP today at 8dpo after a miscarriage at the start of August, so it’s happened very quickly! I’m so nervous about losing this baby as well as I had a scan last week after I ovulated and my womb lining was thin so I’m surprised to be pregnant again to be honest. The cause of my miscarriage was due to thin womb lining so I’m just worried I’m going to miscarry again 😞 but I’m trying to be positive though and manifesting good vibes for this pregnancy 💕

@tulipsunday 6th September! Still feels a lifetime away 😂😂

Nmvasey85 · 25/08/2023 05:18

@Brokenpancreas94 @tulipsunday I had my 12 weeks scan yesterday and all was good thankfully. I can see you've been doing a bit of research into nub theory - anyone want to to hazard a guess? I've got no idea if that line even is the nub 🙈
