Welcome @sweetpotato29 I’m sorry you have cause to be here but welcome to the thread. I share your experience and it is absolutely awful, totally sympathise. Wishing you the best of luck with this pregnancy. Someone on here said “your body doesn’t know about the previous pregnancy” which I think helps me remember that what happened last time isn’t an indication of what will happen this time x

tulipsunday · 16/08/2023 19:49

@Brokenpancreas94 it is a wild ride isn't it. Stomach uncomfortable tonight sounds like might be round ligament pain according to google. Hips and lower back achey and just feel tired 🥱 hoping feel a bit fresher tomorrow.

@tulipsunday it really is! Had antenatal today and they're referring me to neurology now because of my headaches 🤦🏼‍♀️ and I've still got a UTI, so got to wait for more antibiotics...it's never ending it seems haha x

tulipsunday · 16/08/2023 20:35

Oh man hope they get to the bottom of the headaches for you @Brokenpancreas94 you have been through a lot

Hi @sweetpotato29 i'm sorry for your loss, I think you booking the early scan is a good idea, I went for one at just over 8 weeks and I felt much better after. I hope these next few weeks fly in for you 💜 x

Sorry about the headache @Brokenpancreas94 there's nothing worse than a sore head but even more so when you can't take much to help, hope you get some help at your appointment x

Does anyone have no symptoms this pregnancy? I have nothing at all now except a bloat, I feel completely normal, and I had constant symptoms with my first 2 dc and I know they say every pregnancy is different and I think I have mentioned this weeks ago when I was first pregnant but I had no symptoms with my last preg that ended in loss. My 12 week scan is next week and now I really feel nervous, would like a little nausea, or something lol x

Brokenpancreas94 · 16/08/2023 21:09

@Ladyinpink1 they referred me because my mum suffered with migraines and died of a stroke when she was 33, they said they're not overly worried but want to be cautious!

My first pregnancy with my daughter was pretty symptomless! The only thing I had was the gas/bloating right at the start and then towards the end of the second trimester I started with the heartburn. Whereas this time this baby is causing me havoc on my health 😅x

Ladyinpink1 · 16/08/2023 22:06

@Brokenpancreas94 i'm so sorry, that is very sad about your mum. I'm sure that is on your mind but it's so good that they are being cautious and you are being well looked after. I lost my dad very suddenly, just a few weeks before my miscarriage actually and I know it's a completely different situation but sending you some love 💜 x

Do you know what you are having yet? Just wondering could it be a boy this time maybe that's why it's so different x

Brokenpancreas94 · 16/08/2023 22:17

@Ladyinpink1 thank you and I'm so sorry too! I have had mri's in the past on my brain and all was okay but obviously things can change it is a bit scary but trying not to think too much about it! So sorry about your Dad too! Any loss is hard but it's even harder when it's so sudden isn't it!

No we don't know the gender yet, everyone around me says it must be a boy haha! 20 week scan is booked for 6th September! X

tulipsunday · 17/08/2023 08:37

@Ladyinpink1 I had that with my son's pregnancy. Only thing I really had during the first trimester was bloat and everything was fine. I remember feeling the same at the time - wanting some symptoms but now I realise I was lucky 😄

@tulipsunday bloody charming 🤣🤣

Hope you ladies are all getting on okay and your pregnancies are flying by!

We’re at her newborn photoshoot today, it feels surreal being able to bring her to things when this time last year I was going through the loss!

Brokenpancreas94 · 17/08/2023 13:37

@ChloeN no it's going so bloody slow 😂😂😫
Aww I know what you mean, enjoy the newborn bubble ❤️

ChloeN · 17/08/2023 14:46

@Brokenpancreas94 lol same they were the slowest 9 months of my life 🤣🤣 are we just really boring or something that it feels so slow🤣

WhiteHorse92 · 17/08/2023 14:52

@tulipsunday my bump is the same, I don't look pregnant at all in the morning but look heavily pregnant by the time I go to bed 😅

tulipsunday · 17/08/2023 18:28

@ChloeN aw that's lovely how did she get on at the photo shoot?

@WhiteHorse92 it is funny isn't it how much it changes. Can't remember if it js always like that or just a first half of pregnancy thing.

OP posts:
Brokenpancreas94 · 17/08/2023 18:56

@tulipsunday @WhiteHorse92 my bump is non existent...I never got rid of my "mum pouch" from my daughter so think that's what's hiding it lol! Although the top of my belly is a bit rounded and goes hard!

ChloeN · 17/08/2023 19:50

@tulipsunday she was good when she finally went off to sleep, took the lady an hour 🤣 then she pooed on her at the end🤣

tulipsunday · 18/08/2023 12:31

@ChloeN aw bless her 😂😂 @Brokenpancreas94 same.. my stomach hasn't been the same since having my son. Quite glad to have a legitimate reason to be carrying weight there now 😂

OP posts:
Brokenpancreas94 · 18/08/2023 18:13

@tulipsunday saying that though my belly is rock hard and a lot bigger today 😂🤷‍♀️

Ladyinpink1 · 19/08/2023 17:22

I have just went to the loo and the dreaded thing about wiping happened... I am bleeding... red blood. I have phoned the early pregnancy unit. But i'm pretty sure it is a miscarriage, I can't imagine anything else. I would be 12 weeks on Tuesday

Ladyinpink1 · 19/08/2023 18:07

I have had diarrhea, maybe from the stress and I have light cramping in my stomach. Most of all I feel sick from the dread of it all. EPU returned my call really quickly and earliest scan is 10:30am tomorrow. I can't explain it but I am so certain it's a miscarriage, that would explain the lack of symptoms too. It's going to be the longest wait.

tulipsunday · 19/08/2023 18:15

@Ladyinpink1 so sorry you have this stress. Really hope all is well. Glad you have a scan booked in and will keep everything crossed for you xx

@Ladyinpink1 sending love and keeping everything crossed. Xx

moosey89 · 19/08/2023 19:46

@Ladyinpink1 Sorry you're going through this - I really really hope all is ok when you have your scan x

Brokenpancreas94 · 19/08/2023 19:52

@Ladyinpink1 sending you lots of love and have everything crossed for you at the scan tomorrow.

Anyone got coccyx/tailbone pain?? Suddenly come on in the last few hours, don't know if it's because I've been out all day 🤷‍♀️
