@Brokenpancreas94 we find this for boys names, loads that we like are all my partners friends, so we have no boys names whatsoever now 🤣🤣 we’ve picked a girl at least so at least that’s something

Brokenpancreas94 · 09/07/2023 22:38

@ChloeN that's exactly our issue too! Can't settle on any boys names 😂 girl's names seem to be so easy 😂

@tulipsunday I like the name Harry, like always have done, but partner thinks it's because of Harry Styles 🙄 although people who know me will probably think that's the reason too 😂🙄

@WhiteHorse92 my nausea hadn't been too bad but tonight it's come back, tiredness hasn't gone though! I woke up just before 11am today, which isn't like me at all! My daughter and partner let me sleep in, and then a few hours later I was tired again!

Ladyinpink1 · 10/07/2023 08:56

Isn't there a quote "you don't realise how many people you dislike until you have to name a child" lol.

Both my dc have names that people I know have but they are not close friends or anything so I think it's ok. But very hard to decide on a nane that's for life!

I have started having nausea from after my breakfast until the evening... but I am on antibiotics for my tooth for 5 days which I take after breakfast, so I can't tell if it's pregnancy nausea or from the antibiotics. Those that had or have nausea, did it start as soon as you woke up or later in the morning after you had eaten?

I didn't have nausea (or any symptoms at all) with my last pregnancy that ended in a loss so although it's horrible, I hope it's pregnancy nausea as it's a good sign I think 🙂

Sorry I never meant my comment to be so long.🙈

suz2285 · 10/07/2023 09:13

@Ladyinpink1 my nausea was always in the evening! Now I'm a bit further along 13+ weeks it seems to just come in waves, but I reckon your antibiotic is to blame here! Well known for messing up stomachs!

Brokenpancreas94 · 10/07/2023 11:05

@Ladyinpink1 in my last pregnancy that ended in miscarriage I was on antibiotics for UTI through most of it because the UTI wasn't going and felt absolutely dreadful was vomiting too, but again I don't know if that was the antibiotics or the infection or the pregnancy.

I feel so rough today though 😫 woke up in the night feeling a bit nauseous and don't feel much better now 🤷‍♀️

tulipsunday · 10/07/2023 12:05

@Ladyinpink1 up to 12wks I had nausea in the morning and needed to eat breakfast to combat it. Since 12wks I just have nausea waves at times generally more in the evenings. Still have certain smells that turn my stomach - washing detergent is the worst 😂

Had an early scan today at 6+5. Third pregnancy and it's the first time we've heard a heartbeat. Happy (and trying to hold onto that) but still nervous. Measured at 3.5mm and hb 110 so a little on the small side. Next scan on 20th. Hope everyone here is doing well x

suz2285 · 10/07/2023 13:44

@Banbi awww congratulations ❤️ happy but nervous is normal, everything crossed for you 🤞🤞

tulipsunday · 10/07/2023 15:55

@Banbi aw that's lovely you heard the heartbeat. Hope the wait till the next scan goes quickly xx

@suz2285 Yes I think it might be, I had nausea with both dc but I can't remember what times of the day etc (think it might of been all day long though lol) i'm taking lots of yogurt and kefir so hopefully that helps until the antibiotic is finished. I will take my last one on Thurs morning so will find out then if I feel better 🙂 x

@Brokenpancreas94 i'm sorry nausea is there today for you, how far along are you? Hopefully it doesn't last too long.
I'm really worried about the antibiotics causing issues too, but I had no choice except to take them. x

@tulipsunday lol at washing detergent, it's so random the things that happen isn't it, that definitely means you should hand over washing duties to your dp 😄 x

Brokenpancreas94 · 10/07/2023 17:37

@Ladyinpink1 by my dates 12+3 but after the scan last week I'm a week behind apparently so 11+3...week 11 is supposed to be the worst isn't it? I've no idea? I'm sure I've read that somewhere though! I'm struggling to keep hydrated I'm terrible with it so that's probably not helping either! I'm my own worst enemy 😂x

Ladyinpink1 · 10/07/2023 17:38

@Banbi oh lovely 🥰 so nice to have that reassurance x

Ladyinpink1 · 10/07/2023 17:40

Hopefully then this is the last tough bit just before you enter the second trimester with glowing skin and lots of energy 😊 x

Brokenpancreas94 · 10/07/2023 17:53

@Ladyinpink1 I hope so! Looking forward to my diabetes hopefully settling down aswell! Second trimester insulin levels settle down a bit, and then ramp back up by the 3rd trimester, such a rollercoaster atm! I've gone through so much lucozade! C

Brokenpancreas94 · 10/07/2023 17:54

@Banbi glad all is going well for you so far ❤️🤞🏻

Brokenpancreas94 · 11/07/2023 18:43

Nausea is back with a vengeance, I feel so hungry as well but I don't know what I want to eat because I feel sick! Refraining from taking cyclizine because it makes me so drowsy! I can't win 😂

Hope everyone else is doing okay! Xx

tulipsunday · 11/07/2023 18:46

Think it is is time to move to some non underwired bras. Mine have started to become uncomfortable. Not sure whether to just get some nursing type ones now and then have them for when the baby is here. Hmm! Need something with good support but comfier! Anyone at this point?

I bought a 3 pack of non underwired t-shirt bras from Primark a couple of days ago, I think they were around £10 and they're really comfy. Not sure how supportive they are as I have a relatively small bust (although at the rate they're growing not for much longer!) But I've found them great.

tulipsunday · 11/07/2023 19:33

Thanks @Meeting that's good to know and a good price. Wonder if they have any in bigger sizes will have a look.

@tulipsunday I hear people talk about the Amazon ones a lot! I’ve not tried them I’m still wearing my normal bralettes before I have to swap to giant nursing ones🤣

tulipsunday · 11/07/2023 20:43

@ChloeN ha they aren't the sexiest things nursing bras are they.

Brokenpancreas94 · 11/07/2023 21:33

@tulipsunday I need to get some bras too! Morrisons have some good comfy non wired bras, but I think I need to size up, and they aren't as supportive I don't think but so comfy 😂
I've given in and taken an anti sickness tablet!

Misspotterscat · 11/07/2023 21:36

Hi all, I’m unsure if I’ve commented on a the last thread of this but I’d like to jump on to this one for an off load if possible.

I've just read through - congratulations to all those who’ve had happy scans, and thinking of those who are experiencing stressful times.

I am currently 11+3 with my first baby after a miscarriage is April. I have had 4 scans so far, three private and one at epau due to some spotting. Each time baby has been measuring spot on, and a day ahead on the last scan. Strong heartbeat (166 at 10+4). BUT. I am just so anxious. I cannot stop googling, and reading things on here about mmc and just feel like I don’t deserve for this to all be ok. I was on meds for anxiety until the beginning of this year when I stopped them whilst ttc due to increased risk of health conditions in baby - baby is already at higher risk to some due to my own medical condition.
husband keeps telling me to be positive, and I’m trying but it’s so difficult. I woke up today and my boobs weren’t sore, and my nausea has eased over the past 5 days too. I know that can happen at this stage, and I’ve previously had days when symptoms have eased but I’m just being so negative and panicking. I’m also having some mild twinges today.

I just need a safe space to vent. Apologies for such a long post and thank you if you took the time to read it.
