It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

Good morning all just catching up, congrats to the new joiners and so sorry to those who haven't had good news xx

I'm 8 weeks today and this is the furthest along I've ever been so feeling happy about that although still not allowing myself any excitement. Nausea has thankfully calmed down mostly but I think the daily naps are here to stay now haha x

Congrats on your new milestone :)

Mummapenguin20 · 03/07/2023 11:17

5+5. They wanted me to wait till I was 8 weeks I sobbed down the phone to her. I have 3 children but I’ve had 11 pregnancy’s this is my 12 I’ve been here so many times I just need to know where I’m at. Spotting was so light pink I see it because I was looking for it if that makes sense 4 times when wiping last night nothing since so hoping we’re ok but preparing for the worst just feel so so sad today x

FrostedFlake · 03/07/2023 11:28

@Mummapenguin20 I’m so sorry you are going through such as stressful time. Would you consider going into the emergency department so that you get seen asap for peace of mind and in case they can give you anything to help you with the little one.

Mummapenguin20 · 03/07/2023 11:35

If I bleed anymore it will be a&e x

GeriatricMumma · 03/07/2023 11:52

I went for a blood test this morning following my empty sac scan on Saturday.

I'm not holding out any hope now and HCG levels are purely being done to look for a decrease.

Symptoms have completely gone now.

Feeling mostly ok with it but more frustrated with the waiting.

Mummapenguin20 · 03/07/2023 11:57

The waiting is by far the worst. And the keep testing till you get a negative test 😔

Mummapenguin20 · 03/07/2023 11:57

The waiting is by far the worst. And the keep testing till you get a negative test 😔

I stopped testing a couple of weeks ago as I got my 2-3, then 3+ and back to 2-3.

Guess it kind of makes sense now.

The symptoms and no longer feeling hungry is a massive giveaway for me.

Mummapenguin20 · 03/07/2023 12:04

My epu ask you to test till it’s negative my last miscarrige I was still testing positive 6 weeks later x

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 03/07/2023 17:21

have any of you ladies had any more scans? i had another scan today and crl was 1.08cm (which is 10.8mm) so dated me at 7+1 even though i should be 8weeks according to lmp, got to go back in another 2 weeks time.. hope you are all well & sorry to those of you who have had bad news recently 💕

Daisydoo12345 · 03/07/2023 17:40

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX how was the heartbeat? Did you get to hear it or still too early? x

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 03/07/2023 17:45

@Daisydoo12345 do you know what actually she didnt actually attempt to listen but said it looks ok.. is it possible for the sonographers to listen in on a heartbeat at 7 weeks? x

Daisydoo12345 · 03/07/2023 17:48

They looked at mine when I was 6+2 and I could see the line frequencies - she said it was strong but too early to actually listen in x

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 03/07/2023 17:53

@Daisydoo12345 ohhh thats interesting maybe sonographer i had today couldn't be bothered then 🤷‍♀️ seen as my scan today was at a recurrent misscarriage clinic too! how far along are you now? are you going to have any more scans/or have any more coming up? x

Daisydoo12345 · 03/07/2023 18:04

Based on LMP 8 weeks today but based on ovulation and dating scan 7+5 so we’ll go with that! Yeah I’m going to have one at 9+2 and then that’s it until 12 weeks. Maybe yeah with it not being a private scan maybe they don’t go in to as much detail 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows x

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 03/07/2023 18:07

@Daisydoo12345 yeah same here think after the next scan in 2 weeks time - all being well, they will probably discharge me then next scan will be 12 weeks 😊 have you got a booking appointment with midwife yet? x

Daisydoo12345 · 03/07/2023 18:09

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 No I rang my drs and they said it’s self referral from 8 weeks so I’ll do it in a few days! New to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ must have all changed x

Hey,

I was also dated 6 days behind!

It was a private scan and I wasn't advised I needed a follow up etc.
didn't listen to heartbeat but could see it.

I told my MW at my booking app and she said to go off my LMP and they'll date me properly at 12 week scan.

Was yours an internal scan?
My was on my belly which I haven't had before for an early scan.

MrsW9 · 03/07/2023 18:18

I've been booked in for an early scan later in the week as I've had spotting since Friday. I'll be 6+3 then. Hoping nothing gets worse before then.

MrsW9 · 03/07/2023 18:48

Fingers crossed for you too! I was going to say I'm hating the wait, but I realise I'm also nervous about hearing definite bad news.

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 03/07/2023 18:53

@Daisydoo12345 yes its a definatly new thing in my area to when i rang my doctors to say i was pregnant she was like "we dont do referals anymore, you have to do it yourself" so i said "since when" and she was like "its a new thing we have been doing for last few weeks" felt well embarassed 🤣 i couldnt believe it as last year in March they did the job for me lol so all new to me too this time around, i've got my booking appointment cant remember date though 🤦‍♀️ will check my calander & get back to you! haha x

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 03/07/2023 18:54

Scan was weekend before last.
7 weeks at the time going off LMP she dated me 6+1.
Just over 8 weeks now.

sherbertlemon17 · 03/07/2023 19:55

Hi everyone, thought I’d come say hello. There seems to be 2 Feb groups… Must be a popular time for babies!

I tested positive Saturday and this will be baby number 3. A complete surprise, but very excited and keeping everything crossed. LMP puts me at 9 weeks and only tested as starting getting some symptoms last week 🙃

Sorry to all of you who are going through a tough time. Will be thinking of you all x

Cheetocat · 03/07/2023 20:03

7w tomorrow, anyone else have breakfast and then feel full all day. I just have a few small snacks instead of eating nutritious meals these days. I just don't feel like I'm digesting anything!!

My doctor wants me to have a 1st trimester scan so I have an appointment for early next months, also have my appointment for the trisomies finger poke the same week. They found blood in my wee at the booking appointment so I have to do a FMU test tomorrow to check if the medicine worked and also have my blood tests. It's hectic but I'm also happy to do it all, I'll do anything for this little blueberry to stick.
