Thought I'd start a new one as the old one is full!

I'm 37w exactly and definitely starting to feel more Braxton Hicks (they woke me up last night) but they don't seem to be getting more intense/frequent. Also a bit of lower back ache and general bump tenderness, plus I think I've lost a small bit of my mucus plug. Think this is probably normal at this stage and just my body gearing up for labour but am quite nervous as have a c section at 38+3 and hoping to last till then! Second pregnancy but last baby arrived at 36w so feels like uncharted territory!

How is everyone else feeling?

Happy birthday to those who've already turned one! Glad to see we aren't the only ones not sleeping through. When we saw the health visitor she said it was very unusual which made me feel worse as I already know that C is a terrible sleeper. We're in cows milk full time now. I think it took about a week for her tummy to settle but seems to be fine now.

@HasHus86 pregnancy is going fine, I'm shattered though but I think it's just the last few weeks being tiring. I'm due a c section at the end of July so not long now!

@Dobcaty oh my goodness walking already?! Dd likes to pull herself up but I don't think she has the confidence for walking just yet. Are you finding walking harder than crawling to keep on top of? C is EVERYWHERE and she gets around pretty quickly with her shuffle-crawl. She can also get off the bed by herself and then crawls to the stair gate 😭

Congrats @Hoppyhops! Are you going to find out what you're having?

@toomanysausages I just noticed that you're about to give birth again! Congratulations! I wish we were on that path too, but we're currently waiting on the fertility clinic's recommendation.

To answer your question, yes, it’s definitely harder now. She’s trying to reach higher things and pulls everything down on herself. Plus, she likes to fall (for fun), so I never know if it’s a real accident or if she’s just being cheeky 😂 so I have to be behind her all the time

I see big leaps in her development when we spend a week or two with family. She tries to mimic their child who is 9 months older. It was the same with crawling, standing, and now with the walking.

@toomanysausages Sorry I missed your post. Thank you! Yes we found out last week that we are having another little boy - so exciting! 💙

I hope everyone is OK. I can’t believe that we now all have one year olds! I don’t know about anyone else, but this has been the fastest, hardest, most emotional, best year of my life! What a whirlwind!
