...what was your baby's estimated versus actual due date weight? Please could you include what gestation they were born at as well? Thanks 😊

My last growth scan at 36 weeks estimated baby was 7lb5, above the 90th percentile, estimated over 9lb at 40 weeks. Baby was born at 38+3 weighing 6lb14, 34th percentile. Really wasn’t accurate for me!

I had growth scans for my 2nd pregnancy as she was growing 4 weeks behind.

She was born at 39+5 and weighed 5lb14oz, very accurate to her scans!!

For growth scans you need 3 scans, each 2 weeks apart.

My growth scans were accurate.

I had a growth scan at 37 weeks, estimated at 8lb 5oz, and he was born at 38+1 weighing 8lb 10oz - so quite accurate for me!

I think the scan was at 37 weeks exactly. They estimated she was just under 7 pounds then. She was born 2 weeks later at 39 plus 1 weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces so pretty accurate I think.

Baby was measuring 9lbs at 39 weeks (as in, he'd be even bigger at 40).

After much debate I decided to play safe and get an induction, when he eventually arrived (by emergency c section) he was 8lb01oz.

Growth scan at 38 weeks estimated 6lb 3.

Born at 41+6 weighing 10lb 1oz

Growth scans at 34 and 36 weeks both estimated 8lbs.

DD was born at 38 weeks at 6lbs. Apparently she likely would have been about 7 had she been born at term.

My trust does a 36w scan as standard.

Baby was 5lbs- ish at 36w and born at 40w (on my due date) at 6lbs2. A wee one!

I had a growth scan at 38 + 3, estimated weight was 7lb 1oz. Born at 39+ 5 weighing 7lb 9oz.

-DC1 I had one 3rd trimester scan and it was bang on, they said she would 7 and half to 8lbs and she was 7lb13 when born by ELCS at 39 weeks.
-DC2 I had too many scans to count, again born 39 weeks and he was supposedly going to 6lbs but actually came out 8lbs3 and DH had to go home for the 0-3 month clothes as the newborn didn’t fit!

Multiple grown scans, was born on due date estimated 4 1/2 lbs but was actually 5lb 13oz so quite a big difference really!

Estimated 9 1/2 lb, born at 39+3 weighing 9lb7. Accurate for me.

36 week scan said she was 6lb 4 oz. Born on her due date weighing 6lb 9oz so there is no way the 36 week estimate was correct.

Born 35 weeks
last growth scan suggested he had lost weight and was around 5lb. Born at 6lb6. which fitted with all other previous scans.

current pregnancy having scans every two weeks at 32 weeks showing just under 6lb.

Was born at 39+6 and was 9lb 9 - so pretty spot on

Had a growth scan at 37+5 that said baby would be 8lbs 7ish. Was induced due to high BP and baby being "big" Gave birth at 38+1 to an IUGR baby 5lbs 13

I had 6 scans across the entire pregnancy, last one at 36 weeks.

Last scan estimated 6lbs at 36 weeks so that may have been about right as baby was 8lbs 5oz at birth 6 weeks later.

Estimated between 7-8 pounds... actual 8.5 pounds...

My last growth scan was the day before my daughter was born. It estimated her at 8 lb 8. She was born 6 lb 5 . She was 38 weeks.

Scan 24 hours before she was born, at 10 days late. Estimated at 10lb 7oz. Actual 10lb and 4oz.

I'd been telling them she was big but i suspect they thought it was all pies and ice cream
