@HappyPie82 I think you can reschedule them yeah.

@OnNaturesCourse ahhh ok, don't listen lovely, I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it

wannabemum38 · 24/04/2023 13:19

Feel like rubbish today. Really nauseous and got a dodgy tummy since early hours been back and forward to the loo. Starting a new job tomorrow obviously not told them I'm pregnant yet hope I feel better for then just going to rest up today. How.you all doing ladies?

OnNaturesCourse · 24/04/2023 13:33

Threepio · 24/04/2023 12:33

@OnNaturesCourse I'm a Dr and you can't tell if someone is pregnant or not in early pregnancy - the uterus is just too small and still in the pelvis so you can't feel it. I would have thought he was suggesting you are further along than you think. Either that or you had a big bladder and really needed a wee!

I do have a big bladder 😂 but didn't need a pee. I was a bit tender when he was pushing around my lower abdo so possibly he felt something. Twins is being queried at the moment which is why I have another scan on Thursday.

MomentOhm · 24/04/2023 14:27

@wannabemum38 oh poor you.. fingers crossed you feel a little better for tomorrow and good luck with your new job 😁
I'm feeling a little less tired and nauseous today but my skin... Ive had acne come up all over my face!!

HannahLouD · 24/04/2023 14:47

I don't feel nauseous at all today... I don't think I've really truly felt very nauseous at all yet to be honest. Just little waves of it here and there... Trying not to read too much into it but everything a worry 😅
I complain when I feel horrible and I complain when I feel fine... Can't win!
Tiredness is completely consuming though. It's unreal. So glad I WFH.
Got my booking in appointment tomorrow... I really wish it wasn't so soon. It feels like it's tempting fate going through everything so early when anything could happen still... I can't get my head around everything potentially being ok. I just don't believe it will be. Such a silly mindset to have x

OnNaturesCourse · 24/04/2023 14:50

I feel you on the tiredness.

I'm at SAHP but by the time DP gets home from work I'm only fit for my bed. If I haven't got dinner in the slow cooker I have to leave him to it. My sickness kicks in at night too and with it I get overwhelmed with everything.

I have a 2yo at home with me all the time so I'm shattered and I feel like a horrible parent because they've lost "fun mum" at the moment.

wannabemum38 · 24/04/2023 16:00

@HannahLouD yeh luckily I'm going to wfh a lot too after my initial induction. So tired.
I've still heard nothing from my midwife been 2 weeks since I did a referral I tried calling on Friday but no answer.

DaisyMay25 · 24/04/2023 16:11

I had nausea until about an hour ago and now I can't stop eating 🤦🏼‍♀️
Had bad cramps last night, they went into my thighs too which is where my contractions were too so it stressed me out. Only a few cramps today and no blood and still got sore boobs and nausea so I'm trying to not worry too much!
I'm gonna register on Thursday I think for a midwife appointment when I'm 5 weeks, gives them time to get back to me and to get time off work for it.

Charlielechat · 24/04/2023 16:19

Tested again today and my LH test was way back up and my mommed test is about the same. Resting heart rate is up 3 beats again today too! Not sure what happened yesterday but I left myself in a state! I hate all this worry and waiting!
So I'm trying to relax today a bit as nothing bad has actually happened atm🤞

Charlielechat · 24/04/2023 16:21

@Mummy1502 congrats on your 3+! Glad you got sorted with the nurse x

Mummy1502 · 24/04/2023 16:38

@Charlielechat thankyou x

smldnlove · 24/04/2023 18:18

@DaisyMay25 Yes definitely try not to worry! All sounds positive and like you have the right symptoms. It’s so hard to know what’s going on. I keep feeling so tempted to book in a scan on Thursday at 6 weeks but just need to wait really!

@Mummy1502 Got my 3+ too this afternoon! Feel really happy that all is on the right track as well. Determined now to stop testing and just wait… 😅

smldnlove · 24/04/2023 18:19

@HannahLouD do you know what they’re going to do at your first appointment?

SMG1992 · 24/04/2023 18:23

@Justanothercyster im an accountant and unfortunately can’t wfh too often as only a small team and I’m the most senior with the other 2 being really new.
Has your nausea eased up?

today has been a struggle tiredness wise, I’m going to try and go for a small run then dinner and early night. Ready for it all again tomorrow.
I really can’t wait for when I can tell people I’m pregnant!

wannabemum38 · 24/04/2023 18:41

Got my letter for midwife appointment finally. Its on 2nd May so not long I will be 8+3 all being well. Its in person this time last time although didn't get that far due to MC it was on phone. My OH doesn't need to come too does he Its just booking in stuff isn't it? Will.i have any bloods taken?

DaisyMay25 · 24/04/2023 18:53

@wannabemum38 your husband doesn't have to be there no, and yes you'll have bloods taken 😊

wannabemum38 · 24/04/2023 18:57

@DaisyMay25 OK thank you. (Not my husband yet 4 months time though lol) hope my new job will be OK in giving me morning off.

Retrogamer · 24/04/2023 19:00

Hi everyone.
I hope you are all OK this afternoon.

I got my first nhs scan through the post today but it isn't until June when I will be 14 weeks. Its only two weeks more than I expected but it feels like an eternity.
I just want to know if I'm pregnant or not (even though I have multiple positive tests)

I've been suggested that I go to a private scan, if I do, do I wait until I am close to 12 weeks or go next week when I'll be 9? My emotions are all over the place today and I am struggling to think logically.
I was really poorly last week with sickness, and today I have woken up feeling fine which has worried me even more so. I'm 8 weeks currently.

wannabemum38 · 24/04/2023 19:15

Hi @Retrogamer that does seem an eternity to wait. I've only just got my booking in appointment today so no idea when my first scan is seems a long time to wait until your 14 weeks though? Personally I'm having a private scan next weekend when I will be 8 weeks. I wanted to make sure I was far enough along to actually see something. It will hopefully put my mind at rest. If you can afford too and helps your anxiety I'd say go for at 80-100 quid a pop its not a cheap choice and not everyone can afford too.

EmW102 · 24/04/2023 19:42

Had early scan today at 7+4, so so SO relieved, all looking good, saw the little heartbeat and it was measuring 7+3 so basically the same. So glad I waited rather than going at 6 weeks so that there was definitely no doubt about the little bean being there. I know there's never no risk but I feel like I can let myself get a teeeny bit excited now.

I think I'll see what DH says about booking one next week. I can afford just the one but if it confirms a pregnancy, I'll take it. Good luck with your scan next weekend. It's such a nerve wrecking time isn't it?

How lovely x

wannabemum38 · 24/04/2023 19:45

Congratulations @EmW102
@Retrogamer it is so nerve wracking especially after losses knowing what can go wrong. Wish I could relax more but until I see it's growing and doing well and it's a viable pregnancy I can't enjoy it at all.

Charlielechat · 24/04/2023 19:55

Congratulations @EmW102 that's so lovely for you!

Thamantha · 24/04/2023 20:02

Hi all,
I'm 5+3 today, second baby and very excited. Also very tired. Definitely feels like there are more first trimester symptoms this time - like cramps.
