Hi all, 5w5d here and just feeling a bit anxious. Can I join?

Sorry, I should add, this is pregnancy number 2, a COMPLETE surprise (I hate when people say that because we were told we were infertile and it took ages with my daughter, who is 18mo now). Just kindve freaking out 🙄

@Justanothercyster congratulations and get the anxiousness and surprise. We were having Fertility tests and basically told last September that IVF would be recommended route for a successful pregnancy. I had a MC.2 years ago and a chemical last June so super anxious. I'm 7+1 but until I have a scan I can't believe it's happening yet!

@wannabemum38 thank you, and congrats to you too. We were exactly the same, about to start ivf and then bam, positive test with my daughter. I can imagine how anxious you must be after your losses, sorry to hear about those :( hopefully this will be a lovely rainbow. When is your scan?

I've booked a scan for 8 weeks as like you I struggle to believe it 🙈 I'm mainly anxious as I was feeling a bit nauseous last week, crampy, gagging lots, but the last couple of days not any of those. Still exhausted and tingly boobs but you know how your mind tells you the worst!

@Justanothercyster Mines also at 8 weeks next Sunday. As much as I wanted earlier one if nothing could be seen would just make me more anxious!
My boobs have been so painful for weeks now and overly sensitive nipples . I feel nauseous and then I eat and I feel better but no sickness as yet. Just hoping all these symptoms add up to something but it's a terrifying wait.
I hope yours is a sticky bean too IVF is so traumatic my best mate went through it twice and no success and was so ill with all the drugs etc

Can I join? I'm due on the 5th Dec and at our reassurance scan on Friday we found out that we're having twins! We've been TTC for over a year so it's a bit hard to believe!

I got married at 30 weeks pregnant with my first. We had our wedding booked.and paid for before I fell pregnant. Likewise we didn't want to postpone. I ended up having to change my dress at the last minute but was fine apart from that!

@SJR86 how exciting!! I'd love twins do you know if they're identical or not?

@DaisyMay25 don't know yet, they have separate sacs but apparently they can still be identical?! I have so much to learn!

@CastleWindow a little overwhelmed really we already have a 2.5yo - no idea what life with three will look like!

@DaisyMay25 yes to the burping. I can give DP a good run for his money now! Previously I genuinely couldn't burp, was very very rare!

Sharing here because my fiancé doesn’t get it’s a big deal 😂
Finally put my big girl pants on and used the digital weeks one at 5w6d and got the 3+.
This time last pregnancy I got 1-2w so I knew it wasn’t progressing!!
I know it doesn’t guarantee I won’t miscarry again but I was so happy to see that 3+ this morning. I might tell my parents this weekend now we’ve had that!

I used my digi this morning and still says 2-3, stupidly opened the test and I think it looks lighter x

Was having cramps last night that worried me a little but I think everything is fine this morning. I really hate this waiting 🤦🏼‍♀️ I knicker check so many times a day too

@DaisyMay25 i was like that the last couple of days and did the same, I’m so worried and now my digi is still saying 2-3 x

All of these are 2-3, bottom is today, looks much lighter to me x

@Mummy1502 I despise the digital tests and won't be using them. They're inaccurate. The hcg levels for each week is so broad they can't be accurate. Try not to worry about them. I'll post photos of what hcg they need for 3+ (which is high) and then what hcg levels should be at each stage and you might understand what I'm saying

@Mummy1502 how far along are you? I wouldn’t worry too much about what the test says. Do you have an early scan booked or anything to put your mind at ease? X

@DaisyMay25 thankyou I have looked at them before, just worried coz it looks lighter today and I had those pains, I’ve had a busy few days with it being my daughters birthday yesterday, will call doctor this morning as I’m sure I’ve got a water infection x

@99SR my flo app says 5+2 going by first day of last period, yea I booked and early scan for next Monday x

@Mummy1502 try get pink dye tests if you wanna check progression. I don't think they're lines mean that much

@DaisyMay25 will grab some more boots early today or maybe just leave it and speak to doctor and try not to panic, I shouldn’t even still be testing tbh just causing myself more worry x

@Mummy1502 i didn’t get 3+ weeks until 5+5 so maybe you’re too early? Maybe try and stop testing for a bit and see what your Dr says this morning? X

@Mummy1502 I know what you mean, I'll test on Thursday when I'll either be 5 weeks or 5+1 then won't test again unless I bleed. It's so hard to not test though, it's so addictive.

I've gotta sit in a lecture hall all day today learning about breastfeeding, not sure how I'll cope. Might take biscuits to snack on
