They put that I will be 6+4 tomorrow instead of 6+1, it’s only 3 days difference but never heard of this and I have 4 children 😂 x

Due December 2023 part 2
Peaceandloves · 29/04/2023 09:07

@Mummy1502 I am I. The same boat. My LMP date is four days behind my due date calculator when they take into consideration my short cycles. When I rang for my booking appointment my midwife asked about cycle length so I think it's relevant maybe.

Mushroo · 29/04/2023 09:19

@Mummy1502 it’s relevant because you will have ovulated earlier.

On a 28 day cycle ovulation is usually day 14, but a 25 day cycle ovulation will usually be day day 11, so the earlier cycle would be 3 days further along.

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 09:22

@Peaceandloves @Mushroo bonus, further along than I thought x

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 09:23

That’s makes my due date 20th December instead of 24th, have a scan tomorrow so will see what the measurements are x

99SR · 29/04/2023 10:04

Guys I’m losing my mind please help…. I woke up this morning no sore boobs any more and don’t feel sick anymore. Is this normal? I phoned my dr yesterday as my anxiety has been really bad and she told me to take a pregnancy test every week to see if it’s still positive. Surely not? Not sure I want to start that. Tempted to go buy a clear blue and see if it’s still 3+. Please help me ☹️

Mushroo · 29/04/2023 10:04

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 09:22

@Peaceandloves @Mushroo bonus, further along than I thought x

Definitely! Take it as a win :)

Charlielechat · 29/04/2023 10:14

Oh I didn't realise the logic behind it (the ovulation part). I have 26 day cycles so it told me I was due 25th December instead of 27th. But I ovulate quite late at CD16, so I think I maybe I should stick with my original due date?

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 10:17

@99SR how far along are you? X

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 10:17

@Charlielechat i didn’t track this cycle but my previous cycles I’ve ovulated day 10/11, my cycles are 24 days x

Charlielechat · 29/04/2023 10:18

Interesting...I did a calculator based on my ovulation date and it's saying 28th December. So I'm possibly a day behind where I thought I was. Such a minefield 😂

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 10:20

@Charlielechat what did you do that on? I don’t know when I ovulated but I can go by 10/11 x

DaisyMay25 · 29/04/2023 10:22

@Mummy1502 the nhs due date calculator did the same to me, moved due date to 26/12 once I put in 26 day cycles

Charlielechat · 29/04/2023 10:24

@Mummy1502 I used this website:
https://www.whattoexpect.com/due-date-calculator/
Date of conception is date of ovulation x

@99SR try not to go in to anxiety panic mode, I have seen many comments on this thread and others of symptoms coming and going. All has been perfectly well so it is absolutely normal for lots of us.

I'm not sure what to say about testing, and that was not very helpful of the doctor 😔 but if you do decide to test bear in mind the hook effect... Which can show a fainter line the more weeks you are.. this is because it's a hcg overload for the test .. people dilute their fmu with water and the line comes out strong again.

I have not done this myself but I have seen lots of people talking about it.

Take care xx

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 10:25

@Charlielechat i just tried it worked out perfectly with nhs due date taking in 24 day cycles, strange though coz if that’s the case then I didn’t get even a faint positive until day after af was due and if I ovulated day 10/11 that would have made me 14/15dpo x

Rainbowdust557 · 29/04/2023 11:04

@99SR See how you go as symptoms definitely come and go. I've had plenty of panic moments and then start feeling sick again late and think why did I miss feeling like this? 😆 Can you book a private scan to get some reassurance?

HannahLouD · 29/04/2023 11:06

@99SR sorry you're feeling this way :( how far along are you? I'm sure everything is fine. Waking up with symptoms gone for just one day is totally normal!

Some days I have very mild symptoms, but most days I have basically nothing. I honestly wouldn't think I was pregnant at all pretty much every day (today being one of those days) I'm 8 weeks today or tomorrow and have had pretty much no nausea at all and basically no other symptoms apart from feeling tired here and there and sore nipples if I pinch them. I had tingly boobs from week 4-5 and then never again.
I had a scan at 6+2 and all was good with a heartbeat. Have another one on Wednesday where I should be 8+3 but convinced it'll be a mmc as I feel much less pregnant than I did at 4/5 weeks.

I absolutely would not recommend taking tests every week. I experienced the hook effect a couple of weeks ago and it really stressed me out (diluting my wee to basically all water made the line dark again) but I personally wouldn't recommend it as it could just add to your anxiety! (CB website also says not to use the weeks indictaor past 6 weeks!)

I'm sure you're fine though... Symptoms may even come back later today... You just never know x

99SR · 29/04/2023 11:18

Thanks everyone. I did find it a bit strange that my dr recommended the test thing, especially since with my last MMC I was testing positive for weeks after I miscarried.
Im 6+4 so still super early.
I am planning a reassurance scan but I can’t decide when to do it.
Hoping some of my symptoms come back today but thank you for your reassurance everyone. It’s such a tricky time 😫

Mushroo · 29/04/2023 11:46

Is anyone else struggling with exercise? I went to the gym today and purposely did a light jog (about 1.5km) and a ‘beginners’ workout and I’m dying! (I normally run 5k a few times a week and lift with barbells).

I mainly felt really warm straight away and tired. Does it get better or will I be keeping it very light for 9 months? Obviously not expecting to run marathons but didn’t think I’d find it this hard so soon (5 weeks today).

Charlielechat · 29/04/2023 12:17

@Mushroo I was doing very similar exercise to you but I've stuck to walking since I found out. I was too scared to continue running in case it messed with my hormone levels, but I really need to get back to doing some workouts again otherwise these pounds will quickly be adding up 🙈 There are a few decent trimester 1 dumbbell workouts on YouTube, but just go at your own pace!

Mushroo · 29/04/2023 12:37

@Charlielechat glad I’m not alone. Today was my first day attempting ‘proper’ exercise since I found out.

I’ll take a look at the YouTube videos ones as well, thanks!

wannabemum38 · 29/04/2023 12:42

@Mummy1502 I just filled out my pre assessment too for same company my scan is tomorrow. I'm 8 weeks today but they are still saying an internal scan will be used but when I booked it they said to go with a full bladder to see if they can see anything with normal ultrasound so.now I'm confused what times yours mine is at 11.15 '

Mummy1502 · 29/04/2023 12:47

@wannabemum38 on the form it says they do internal before 10 weeks, mines not until 5:30, will be a long day x

OnNaturesCourse · 29/04/2023 13:19

Sorry to jump on without reading but I'm miserable here... Anyone else struggling?

I think I have HG starting again. I'm nauseous from the minute I eat anything.

I have horrible heartburn that's hurting my throat and indigestion that is adding to the sick feeling.

I've had constipation for a week so I'm very uncomfortable.

I've managed to eat a cereal bar, plain roll, some dry bran flakes and hot dog in the past few days.

I'm on anti sickness, reflux meds, lactulose and enemas. Nothing is helping.

I'm so tired and not eating isn't helping. My no energy is leaving me quite unmotivated to exercise which isn't helping my bowels!

I'm stuck in a loop with everything making everything else worse 😭

Any suggestions? Until I can get back to GP on Monday.
