@rankin21 I hear you! Only my OH knows so far but he has been amazing too. He has a cracked rib atm so he's in pain and not able to do much either...we're both feeling sorry for ourselves and each other 😂
I'm 6+5 today and feeling increasingly nauseous each day. Hoping it doesn't progress to actual sickness.

99SR · 25/04/2023 12:24

This might be TMI but I don’t know who else to share it with as it’s only my partner who knows. This morning at work I had a bit of noticeable pain/pressure in my vagina.. it’s away now but it’s worried me. Feel like my boobs aren’t as sore today too. And also this morning when I went to the toilet for you know… I felt some pressure in my lower tummy. Stressing me out now knowing what’s going on.

Pitstop1986 · 25/04/2023 12:30

@OnNaturesCourse I'm exhausted too! I've been off work sick for a week as i don't want to struggle through 12 hour days and on calls with nausea and fatigue, so thought that I'd give myself a week or so to just relax away from the stress. Since I've been off I've been sleeping about 11 hours overnight, then having a glorious 2 hour afternoon nap! I don't know how I'll cope when I go back!

Sounds like it's pressure from an expanding uterus. I feel quite heavy in my lower abdomen and a few girls have said about experiencing "lightning crotch".

SMG1992 · 25/04/2023 12:46

Im feeling slightly better with tiredness today as had a very early night last night but it means I do t get much time in the evening during the week after work to just unwind
my nausea also seems to be getting worse and some smells completely push me over the edge! Is there a polite way to say your colleague’s lunch makes you want to puke?! Lol!

Justanothercyster · 25/04/2023 13:57

@wannabemum38 how are you feeling?

@SMG1992 ah ok, that makes sense. Unfortunately it's intensified 🤢 but that's all good so I'm just powering through, the fatigue is insane though, so much harder when I have to keep my little girl entertained lol

Formaddict · 25/04/2023 14:06

Is anyone else feeling quite bloated? I’m 6+4 and already by trousers are tight?!

Yes, same here...I'm 6+5 and have had to unbutton my trousers (discreetly) in the office 😂I'm planning on going to the shops for a bigger size at the weekend...something with a bit of room or an elastic waist! Seems ridiculous this early on but I'm so uncomfortable!

smldnlove · 25/04/2023 14:39

@OnNaturesCourse I’m so tired today. It’s hit me gradually the last 2 days but today it’s in full force. I’ve had to tell work that I’m struggling today because Im just so tired and weak. And grumpy all day which doesn’t help!! 5+5 today

smldnlove · 25/04/2023 14:44

Anyone slightly ahead (past 7 weeks) notice a bump forming at all yet? I know it is early but aware it does come early for some. Wondering when it’ll start to show, and also when the bloating calms down!!

wannabemum38 · 25/04/2023 15:16

@Justanothercyster I'm OK still got sore boobs nausea is all day at moment feel better when I'm eating then comes again. I'm at my new job got an hour left am so tired struggling to focus on what I'm learning. Just want to sleep. Luckily working from home tomorrow
How are you?

I have a bump at 7+3, but I'm usually pretty slender and this is number 2, so I think the bump has popped out a little earlier!

I struggled with feeling uncomfortable trying to fit into my clothes with my daughter. When I finally gave in at about 9/10 weeks and got some maternity jeans I kicked myself that I hadn't done it sooner- they were amazingly comfortable!

So instead of a bigger size of clothes, I'd recommend maternity wear! It'll expand as your bump expands, so should see you through until the end of the pregnancy!

Mushroo · 25/04/2023 16:16

Hi all,

Not posted in a few days as I thought I was out due to spotting getting heavier. However, it’s now very very light, about once a day when I wipe and my temp is still up so tentatively rejoining. Will phone the EPU when I’m 5 weeks on Saturday.

currently on holiday in northern Spain and the food limitations are SO restricting here. All the food is either ceviche type fish, Spanish deli meats or has homemade mayonnaise, really struggling!!

Does anyone know if raw eggs are ok to eat in Spain (in mayo) or is it best not to risk it?

Charlielechat · 25/04/2023 16:19

@99SR could it be constipation? (Sorry tmi)

I've read loads of reviews about the Mommed test strips and so many people saying they're terrible for line progression and they cause so much anxiety. Someone had a photo of two tests done using the same urine and one was so much darker than the other! So I think I'm going to stop the line progression testing, and will try for my 3+ on Clearblue in a few days. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow (5+2 if going by NHS date).

Definitely feeling the bloating now and boobs still very sore!

@Mushroo how are things with you? Did the spotting subside?

Charlielechat · 25/04/2023 16:21

@Mushroo so weird I was just tagging you as you replied! 😂

That's a great sign your temp is going up. And as lots of people have said, spotting is very normal! Very jealous of you holidaying in Spain, how lovely!

Mushroo · 25/04/2023 16:27

@Charlielechat hahah weird timing, thank you!

We’re going on a food tour thing this evening (booked ago) and it’s mad the first person I’ll be telling I’m pregnant is a random Spanish tour guide 😂

Charlielechat · 25/04/2023 16:35

Hopefully they give you something nice to celebrate 😂
It's hard to imagine actually announcing it to family atm! The last 9 days have felt like a year so the next two weeks will drag 🥲

Mushroo · 25/04/2023 16:37

@Charlielechat fingers crossed! I know, I swear time has stopped. Even being away hasn’t really helped so dread to think how slowly it would be going if I was at work!

How are your symptoms atm?

Charlielechat · 25/04/2023 16:42

I find work actually helps me not think about it. It's when I get home that all the overthinking happens!
Yeah I feel ok atm. Just really sore boobs, peeing more and super thirsty at nighttime! I haven't felt very tired or nauseous so I'm wondering if it's my multivitamin that is helping.
How are you finding not drinking on holiday? I'm going out for the day with my DH this weekend and already I'd love to be having a drink 😂

RordonGamsey · 25/04/2023 17:27

@smldnlove I don't know if im imagining it but I've always had a little lower belly pouch since I was a child. But it looks a little fuller underneath that in the womb area. Could be bloating! Its been nearly 17 years since my last pregnancy so I'd imagine it all shrank back to normal really, so I'm not sure I'd get that second pregancy "popping" that people talk about.

smldnlove · 25/04/2023 18:14

@Pitstop1986 Wow that’s early at 7 weeks, how exciting!! I kind of want the bump now just to know it’s real. I have heard people getting bumps as early as 6 weeks and think it seems to be as you say, when it’s 2nd pregnancies.

i can’t wait to just get the maternity clothes at this point! I’m so ready to put my out of office on and start nesting and it’s only 5 weeks. It’s crazy 😂

DaisyMay25 · 25/04/2023 19:03

I've been to yorkshire wildlife park for my birthday today, I am wiped out!
On the way I got the migraine flashing lights and couldn't see properly for about 15 minutes, I had the worse migraine ever when I was pregnant with my son so I see it as a positive thing?

@HannahLouD following what people said earlier. When I had my mmc I still had all my symptoms, had horrendous nausea until a few days after the procedure. I honestly had no clue anything was wrong until my scan. Try not to worry, it's uncommon, there's more chance of everything being okay 🤞🏻

wannabemum38 · 25/04/2023 20:20

@DaisyMay25 think that's what worries me I feel pregnant and got the painful boobs and constant nausea especially last couple of days but then so many ppl say they had that and then had a MMC. Terrified mý scan on Sunday will show nothing. Only thing I'm clinging onto is when I miscarried last time had none of these symptoms was only sick for 1 say and lost both at around 6/7 weeks. I'm 7+3 today cross fingers

It’s been surprisingly ok as they do alcohol free beer everywhere here, even on draft, so been having a couple of those in the evening.

The lack of wine is depressing 😂

smldnlove · 25/04/2023 22:47

@DaisyMay25 That sounds fun! But also very exhausting - well done for managing! Happy birthday for today if it was actually today! 🎉
