@smldnlove thank you! 32 now 😭

I've registered my pregnancy, just gotta wait for my booking appointment, says it could take weeks to get one which is annoying! At least I've given them plenty of notice I guess

Justanothercyster · 26/04/2023 07:12

Yay, I waited an extra week just to be sure I'd get it but I've done it and I'll stop testing now 😂 6+1 today, definitely feeling it. Getting up in the morning is HARD as well.

How's everyone getting on?

Mummy1502 · 26/04/2023 07:17

@Justanothercyster congratulations, I’ve woken up a bunged up, sore ears and throat but I am on antibiotics for a water infection so wondering if it’s that, boobs still really sore and feeling a little swollen in my lower tummy, still waves of sickness more so in the evenings, I’m 5+4 x

Mushroo · 26/04/2023 07:43

@Justanothercyster congrats! So nice to see.

Im only 4w+4, can’t wait for the next few weeks to hurry up. Symptoms are peeing constantly, insomnia (waking up at 4am everyday) and sore boobs.

For those further along, when did nausea kick in?

Justanothercyster · 26/04/2023 07:51

@Mummy1502 eek, that doesn't sound pleasant. Hope it all clears up soon!

@Mushroo it's different for everyone, I have friends that never got nausea but for me it's been 5-6 weeks both times up until 13 weeks for the last one. I know it's worrying that early, but you'll get the symptoms and you'll wish them away!

Charlielechat · 26/04/2023 07:53

Congratulations @Justanothercyster ! I've just got mine today at 5 weeks! I really can't believe it. I didn't think I'd get it for another few days at least!

@Charlielechat congratulations x

Justanothercyster · 26/04/2023 07:56

@Charlielechat yay! Congrats 🙌🏼 it feels like a lifetime waiting for the timer to stop on the digis haha!

Justanothercyster · 26/04/2023 07:59

@wannabemum38 sorry I missed the last message! The tiredness is real isn't it, it's horrible. And relentless nausea is rough. Mints keep me going if you need something to help. Hope you're feeling better today

HannahLouD · 26/04/2023 08:12

Thank you everyone for your kind messages yesterday.
My booking appointment went ok - didn't really feel like I could voice my worries as the midwife was very dismissive which was a bit of a shame.
Got to go back next week for bloods as we ran out of time 🙈 she's referring me to the perinatal services due to my anxiety now and also my previous massive long list of mental health issues and the fact that I had post-natal depression and anorexia shortly after I had my daughter (I'm a hot mess, I know).

I'm sorry to those who had MMCs and still had symptoms up to and afterwards... That's so awful and cruel and must have made things that much harder :( 🤍
I guess my worry is that I did have a couple of days of nausea and I've had absolutely none now for about 4 days so I don't think it's coming back. The scary internet says if you have symptoms and they go, it can mean the worst. I guess there's nothing I or any of us can really do but wait this first trimester out and hope for the best! x

HannahLouD · 26/04/2023 08:20

Congrats to all getting their 3+ too! I remember it being a good feeling 😊✨

Mushroo · 26/04/2023 08:53

@Justanothercyster thank you! I know I’ll be wishing away the nausea when I get it 😂

@Charlielechat amazing! So good to see all these.

Think I’ll get a clear blue for next week and see how i get on.

@HannahLouD im sorry your midwife wasn’t more helpful, that’s so frustrating to feel you can’t share how you’re feeling.

My DP brought me home some mint humbugs so hopefully sucking on them through the day will help.
Tiredness is so bad but I'm so restless at night so end up sleeping on sofa so I don't disturb him. I'm wfh today so might take a nap at lunch time!

SMG1992 · 26/04/2023 10:52

Puked at work this morning! Currently 6+3 so am a bit worried it might get worse in a few weeks too

Mummy1502 · 26/04/2023 11:23

Got my blood results back x

OnNaturesCourse · 26/04/2023 11:23

@SMG1992 oh no! I remember doing that with my first. Ended up having to tell my boss cos it kept happening (colleagues eating at their desks didn't help!)

I am due out for lunch with my parents later and I'm dreading it as I feel so nauseous today.

DaisyMay25 · 26/04/2023 12:36

@HannahLouD I was under the perinatal mental health team with my pregnancy with my son and they were great! I'll probably go back under them after my booking appointment too. I'd highly reccomended them 😊

EmW102 · 26/04/2023 13:51

@Mushroo
Think my nausea properly kicked in about 6+3. From my last pregnancy, I think the peak was around week 9 then it gradually got better and was gone about 11/12 weeks.
The exhaustion though...... omg I'm sooo exhausted all the time.

OnNaturesCourse · 26/04/2023 14:10

Had my first pregnancy hormonal outburst today.

I've been craving a certain brand of crisps and a snack for about week. DP found them both today and brought them home for me - I actually cried.... He looked at me like I had completely lost my marbles (and I felt like I had too!)

Charlielechat · 26/04/2023 15:14

Thanks everyone!

@OnNaturesCourse they must've been some great snacks 😂 I haven't craved anything atm except ice lollies at night when I get thirsty!

That's a real shame your midwife wasn't great @HannahLouD it doesn't take much to be kind!

Mummy1502 · 26/04/2023 16:00

@OnNaturesCourse whens your next scan? I’m so intrigued to see if you have twins x

OnNaturesCourse · 26/04/2023 16:23

@Mummy1502 it's tomorrow! I'm so nervous for it. I can't shake the feeling something is wrong, no idea why.

Mummy1502 · 26/04/2023 16:29

@OnNaturesCourse how exciting, good luck, I think we all feel the same in early pregnancy x

OnNaturesCourse · 26/04/2023 16:30

Yes, I know. Early stages are so hard. I think because I've been ill (unrelated to pregnancy) I'm just letting my anxiety get the best of me lately.

wannabemum38 · 26/04/2023 16:44

@OnNaturesCourse good luck tomorrow we all feel very anxious on here I think. I don't want to even look at baby things or buy any maternity wear yet until I see that little bean in there. Mines on Sunday so anxious too.
