Baby #2 for me. Due 24.10.23 - not finding out sex xx

Hi @LuckyC27 congrats on your twins! Do you have any other children or will the twins be your first?

I finally had my nhs scan this morning, all good but she tweaked due date from 25th to 28th October. It’s going to be a x c section this time so will probably be more like the 20th.

Baby was opening and closing its mouth on the scan, it looked really funny like a puppet as you only see the jaw moving 😂

Another one a little worried about weight gain here! I was heavier than I usually am before getting pregnant, and I've put on 8lbs since finding out. Finding all my clothes so uncomfortable. I have bought some bra extenders on Amazon though - would recommend these!! Going on holiday today and have packed as many loose, floaty things as possible 🙈

Yes I’m feeling chunky atm! Still hiding the news from students at school but I think a lot of them have cottoned on and are too polite to say 🫣

Private gender scan today 💕

Ooh exciting @Chanteuse let us know how you get on!

We have ours next Thursday. Happy either way of course but both so convinced we're having a girl it will be a shock if we're wrong!

Will also mean we need to think of at least one boy's name we would use, we've got nada...

I also have my private gender scan today, it's not until 20 past 4 and my partner can't be there so my sister in law is coming with me, I'm going to ask them to write the gender down for me and my partner to open together this evening

Loving loose floaty things right now too. On a beach holiday and I'm quite obvious in a bikini but still able to hide it otherwise. Feel a bit triumphant whenever I'm offered a cocktail!

How’s everyone in the second trimester feeling now? Anyone still have really bad symptoms or have you found these have eased a lot? My sickness seems to have eased today and rather than being worried I’m just feeling really thankful 🤣 Looking back, the first trimester really can be so hard and just relieved to be out of that now. Still no bump for me at 14 weeks but hopefully it will pop soon. Hope you ladies are all feeling ok Xxx

I think they're low risk x

@Summer022 Really glad you're feeling better, and that it's feeling good rather than worrying. If you'd asked me yesterday, I would have said the same as haven't been sick in a week but today it's back with a bang. I remember sickness going at 16 weeks for me last time so I've got my eyes on that (currently also 14 weeks). I think I can tell I've got a bump but so far don't think it's obvious to others yet.

I wasn't expecting it so soon, was shocked when partner brought it through I was like "ooo that could be my results" then when I went to open it I felt dread. Isn't it funny how anxious pregnancy makes us! Has your post been today? X

I’m almost 17 weeks with my first and I feel like I look a bit fatter but don’t think it’s a proper bump yet. I’m going to a wedding abroad in 5 weeks time and really hope I’ve popped by then.

I think I felt baby move for the first time today. Wasn’t sure at first as I think I have an anterior placenta and so wasn’t expecting to feel anything yet. It also wasn’t what I would call a ‘flutter’ but after some googling I think it probably was baby as it felt like bubbles to the side of my belly button 😂.

@ttcttc I’m at work just now but I checked with my fiancé and he said there’s not been anything for me today 😂😅 .. I hope it comes tomorrow as Monday is a bank holiday 😅 x

@Mamabear345 great bump! It feels so strange being almost 4 weeks behind others! 13+5 today and definitely have a bump, it's my second one. Hiding it ok from students for now.

I've just had my private gender scan. I don't know the gender yet but have the envelope next to me on the sofa waiting for my partner to get home- the suspense is real!!
