Just had NIPS test back. Did it at 10+3. All negative and found out we’re having a girl! Not sure why we both thought boy, and I guess the old wives tale of lots of morning sickness for girl has come true for us!

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 no not at all, did blood test Tuesday, the lab received it Thursday and had results today. Because I live in Canada mine went to Invitae labs in the US, not sure if it’s different back home in the UK or not!

I called the community midwives number 14 times today and didn’t manage to get through, so went in to see the receptionist at my GP to see what my next steps are and when I should actually hear by?
She looked through the midwife’s file and there wasn’t anything in there about me. She said this could be cos she has used the info from my form to generate a letter, but I could fill in another form if I wanted. So I did that, midwife isn’t in the surgery til Wednesday, so hoping I hear from her then, cos I’ll be 10 weeks on Thursday!

I'm finally feeling brave enough to join this thread!

I've been trying for DC2 for almost 2 years, and I'm now 10 weeks! Woohoo!

I had some brown and pink mucus on Friday, so I freaked out, but I've had none since, and a scan at the epu today showed all was perfect :)

I didn't have any bleeding with my first pregnancy so it really panicked me, especially as I had a MMC early last year.

I've got nausea and food aversion and I'm super tired with no motivation to do anything. The poor house has never looked so unloved.

I'm hoping energy levels start to pick back up again soon.

I had a private scan today at 9w and have barley kept a drop of liquid down in two weeks and had an abdominal scan and they could see everything then my needed to. I wouldn’t worry too much about water intake x

Found you all! Nearly 8 weeks here and fianlly got hold off the midwife for my phone battery to die! she left me a voicemail and I'm going to ring back tomorrow and hopefully fianlly get booked in.

I had a scan with my ivf clinic at 7+1 and all was perfect.
I have another at 9+3 as we go on holiday the week after and I'd like to know its all still OK before we go then hopefully have 12 weeks when I'm back!

Found the third thread! 😊I ended up with a scan at the epu today due to more spotting over the weekend. I'm 7+5 today and pretty certain on ovulation date, but only measured 6 weeks exactly. Luckily we saw a heartbeat and everything was in the right place. The sonographer didn't seem worried about the date discrepancy, so I'm trying not to let this worry me too much, but as with everything so far in this pregnancy that's a lot easier said than done!

@Houseonthehills oh that’s good to hear! I managed to find some squash today at the British shop and it’s definitely made water more palatable. I haven’t drunk an entire glass of water in weeks and today I’ve managed three of them!

Thank you all for the kind words and reminders for self care! I love this forum!! You are all so supportive and understanding! Just what I need right now. @Mldn I am bleeding and HCG is falling, went for a US in the ED and they just saw "cysts" made me worry about molar pregnancy, but then I learned it can just be blood clots/tissue that will come out - getting a scan with my OB tomorrow to know more.

@Mldn Interesting there was no sign of baby - I have not been bleeding enough to pass the pregnancy (I dont think anyway) so maybe baby never fully formed. Sad today.

I'm 12 weeks today! Or at least I think I am. Haven't had a scan yet. Nausea is still here 👍

Morning all. How is everyone?

Still no decision from me as to whether to retake the NIPT again in 2 weeks; the company have offered a partial refund now, which is better than nothing.
I’m holding off rebooking as it will be the same week as my NHS dating scan and bloods, plus it’s a 6 hour round trip as ive
no more work in that area.
