@LeeanneD11 it all went really well thank you! Great news about your scan and cyst going down in size too. My due date was brought forward a few days so is now 19th Nov 🤗 Baby was very cooperative and it was so special to see it. I think I got glimpses of a girly nub, but will have to wait and see!

Mine was very active too mine new due date is now 27th November . I'm glad your scan went well , I'm pretty sure I saw boy one too haha 😂 but will have to wait till July lol xxx

Aww, hope you have a little boy but I'm sure your children will be thrilled either way in the long run.
This is number 5 for us, we have 3 boys and a girl with the oldest two being teens. We have very little baby stuff as our daughter is almost 7!

@Bookworm12345 oh wow 🤩. This is my last pregnancy haha 😂 no more for me . I'll be happy either way tbh at least I have an age gap between this one and my other 2 haha my other children are 10 months apart lol 😂 hopefully you will have a little girly . Did you get any good pics on your scan I uploaded one on here to see if any one can guess mine haha 😂 xxx

@38andtrying i got my 20wk appt booked straight after the 12 wk scan. I’d just call your midwife and ask if I was in your position - depending where you are and what normal protocol is? X

I've had a small amount of red spotting and back ache so I'm currently at the EPU waiting to be seen.

14+5 today.

Thankfully baby is just fine, doing roly polys. I have a low lying placenta so that explains the spotting/bleeding.

Such a relief!

I'm going to be under both consultant and midwife care, have an appointment next Thursday for quad test, I'll be 15w+3, I got a letter in post today for a consultants appointment for end of August, all going well I will be nearly 29 weeks, no appointment for 20 weeks scan though, is this normal ?

I'm the same .. both consultant & midwife. Midwife is doing my 16wk appt & consultant 28wk then. Both the midwife and consultant booked these at the last appts (midwife at booking, consultant at 12wk scan)
They told me I would get my 20wk scan in the post which just came, booked in for when I'll be just over 19wks.
I'm Northern Ireland

Baby was fine ❤ got all measurements (control 60mm, NT 2mm?) Now to wait for screening results!

Had my scan yesterday! Due date 29th November so currently 12w2d. I also found out I have a subchorionic haematoma which isn't great but been told not to worry, has anybody else had any experiences with this? I've had no bleeding or spotting with it!

What a clear ultrasound image! ❤️ How lucky! My baby was most uncooperative: usually found lying face down with legs in the air!
My friend had a large haematoma and bled heavily during her first and second trimester, she’s now only got 9 weeks to go! Another friend had a small one and spotting everyday; she’s now given birth to beautiful twin boys. They’re fairly common so try not to let it stress you (easier said than done, I know!)

@Lavender96 lovely photo!! Yes I had one with my DS, bled with it (maybe 3 pads) at 12 wks and the rest got reabsorbed. Hopefully yours will just reabsorb, did they say how big it is? Like Clinimama said they’re pretty common. xx

@spanglesj oh thank you!! Glad to hear yours resolved itself and it's great to read some positive stories! Fingers crossed it does, it's down in my notes as being 45 x 38 x 25mm so not a small one from what I understand? Hope all is good with you and thanks again for the reassurance xx

Oh god the dreaded tummy bug has hit, I feel like absolute crap 😭😭 and to top it off it’s my eldest daughters first holy communion tomorrow😭 god I just want to curl up in a ball for the weekend 😩
anyone any tips on what I can take/do that can help ease symptoms. Trying to starve the bug but being constantly hungry with the pregnancy is not helping, I’m afraid to eat as I know what’ll happen soon after. 😩😩😩

@Katiec1 that sounds awful, get rest if you can. Hopefully it'll pass quickly.
Can you stomach sips of a sugary drink or juice?
The acidity may be a bad choice but if no ill affects then a bit of energy may help. Sugary things held at the gums may work for that too, I've known it used for diabetics.

@Katiec1 aw no. As if the preggo nausea isn’t bad enough. A mate had one in her first trimester. Keep the old fluids up - hope it is only a 24 hr one for you! x
