Hi everyone, hope you are all well 🥰 past few days I've had a weird sore bone feeling down there ? Quite weird to describe it, but when I walk I can feel it, feel as if there's tenderness on my bone but down there? Not sure but feels weird? I was told it's more than likely my baby pushing down on me, which could be true because baby is quite low, has anyone else experienced this? and does it sound about right that it could be baby? I just worry so much : (

@newmummie it sounds like pelvic girdle pain? It's very common in pregnancy. Contact your midwife and hopefully they will be able to get you seen by a physio

I made it to my holiday destination, and for anyone else needing to know, @sally16 was of course right, no one asked anything about my pregnancy (despite me thinking I look huge).

Thanks both, so far it's been torrential rain for hours each day and a particularly vindictive mosquito has bitten me right next to my eye so I look like I've been boxing. Other than that it's great

Hope all ok @AnnieApple123, yesterday must have been an overwhelming day.

@newmummie I have a pain like this (as well as several others) and got told pelvic girdle pain. My midwife gave me the number to a physio to self refer if it gets work, so definitely ask your midwife.

FTM question alert! Is it normal for my stomach to feel uncomfortable at times at this stage? Like sometimes feels too heavy. When I’m sat up straight my stomach feels very heavy and uncomfortable sometimes, like there’s a lot of pressure, but I’m alright laid down or with my feet up etc. I have PGP and yesterday noticed when I sat up in the bath my bump changed and looked a bit like a tent and naturally I googled this and could be the stomach muscles split, has anyone has this before could this be what is causing discomfort? or is it all normal discomfort feelings of pregnancy.
Just wondering if it’s worth mentioning. I wouldn’t say it’s stomach pain, just discomfort in certain sitting positions.

Update: NIPT tests came back negative/low risk finally relieved 🙏🙏 hope RPD decreases too

@Sjw30 I haven't had this experience in either of my pregnancies - sometimes when I'm trying to get up my stomach does change shape if I forget to support myself. Definitely worth ringing your GP to check it's nothing to be concerned about.

Can anyone recommend any zipper sleepsuits/where to get them that aren't too expensive? Love them for changing in the night but they're so expensive usually (found some in sale in Asda but months ago)

@Sjw30 my belly do the weird triangle shape thing when I move a certain way but it doesn’t hurt!

@Marmaladebear Ive really struggled to find zip ones that are cheap! Most of mine are baby mori, pure baby or jojo maman Bebe! I got a couple from Tesco but they don’t have feet xx

I finally rang doctors today for a prescription for my heartburn. Waiting for a call back from the doctors pharmacist to confirm that the GP has signed it off

If anyone else is on the hunt out for baby clothes that don't break the bank boots has a really good sale on Mothercare stuff right now (70% off). Annoyingly things that are out of stock are still showing up so not that easy to navigate (got excited seeing a pack of 5 vests for £3.60 but they're sold out!)

@Sjw30 I’ve had the heavy stomach feeling with this pregnancy that I didn’t have with my first. Also had some discomfort depending how I sit, this baby likes to be quite high up sometimes which makes sitting uncomfortable.

Sorry I’ve not been on for a few days, I’ve been trying to follow the thread but dd got poorly and brought it home from preschool. Dw then fell ill and I followed a few days after, since then it’s been a mad catch up on housework, coursework for dw and a clingy child who has been testing boundaries and seeing what she can get away with 😂 I’ve been very glad this time around that I can feel baby move, the last time I was quite ill it was before movements were possible to feel and the worry was absolutely horrible. The only drawback has been that he’s decided he likes to drop low and kick a lot which sends nerve pain shooting towards my hips- never had that before this past week, assuming it’s normal? I’m seeing my midwife again in the next few weeks so might mention it if it keeps happening.

I had a very quiet little babe this morning, no spins or kicks or rolls in there from waking up to about 9am so rang the pregnancy assessment unit who got me straight down for monitoring and a scan. All is well ❤️ Still been quite quiet though so think it’s got itself into a funny position where I feel less? Or having a sleepy day 😅 It was lovely to see baby though - didn’t think I’d get the extra scan but they were so thorough, checked growth and blood flow through the cord ☺️

Glad everything was okay regarding movements I sometimes have a few sips of lucozade if I'm worrying about movement that seems to wake her up x
