Hi all another new thread as the last one filled up fast again.
8wks3 here according to early scan. This may change at the 12 weeks scan xx

I had to have my dog PTS suddenly the day before my scan. So DH is not getting a say in a middle name of its a girl. (Good thing too as we REALLY disagree on girls names)

When I had my scan yesterday (I’m further along, 14+4!), the sonographer asked how far I thought I was and then said ‘I’ll take measurements now to give an accurate date but I think you’re further along as I can see lots of things I wouldn’t always see at 12 weeks, in quite a lot of detail!’ which made me wonder if it could be a
boy! That’s possibly me just thinking into it too much though!

Anyone suffering from pgp yet? I am self diagnosing as my first appt isn't for another week but I'm crippled with the pain on one side of my back and my hip. In bed by this time every evening cause the sofas too uncomfortable but have trouble falling asleep with the pain and waking up in the night with it. Worried that its gonna be bad if it is that, seems early to be experiencing it.

Any guesses based on nub theory?

@Klex I'm sorry you had to make such a sad decision at any point never mind when you should be really happy and excited for your scan.

@Alexandra07 Oh really? That’s interesting to know! I didn’t ask what he was basing it on because I didn't want him to give anything away but I assumed he was just going by the nub, I don’t know what they can see at that stage

@JoanneV me! And I had it in my first pregnancy, it’s a pain isn’t it (literally)!

hot baths helped me a little bit really and a special cushion for at work that took the pressure off.

I’m going to be quicker to seek treatment this time - I’ve heard people say osteopathy or acupuncture has helped them. Hope you are ok. Take it easy x

Hey, if you're cramping but no blood would you still call 111? Getting cramping on off really painful but no other issues. It may not be pregnancy related and may just be my stomach playing up but can't tell.

Hi everyone - Congratulations!!
Newbie here. I'm 10w + 2d today. 12 week scan booked for 2 weeks time.

My first pregnancy after a lot of attempts at IVF and am understandably anxious the whole time. I've had 2 scans and so far, all ok.
I'm completely exhausted all of the time and feel really nauseous late afternoon/evening. Boobs are really sore too. Really ravenous but only eating beige foods and have put on 5lbs already

@MeganC104 my midwife told me that I can get cramps/feeling of stretching everywhere around waist/belly and it's normal. It could be uterus expanding. But you only know how painful it is for you. You don't loose anything by calling 111 if not sure.

@MeganC104 I would definitely keep an eye on it. I’ve had cramps but it was just trapped wind haha. If you’re worried contact EPAS and hopefully they can give you some answers and put you at ease xx

@Onethingiwantfor23 i’m also an IVF pregnancy, i think i’m one day ahead of you! I’m scared to weigh myself haha i just eat everything to stop the nausea xx

Anyone else still feeling super tired? I’m 12+2 and as much as the nausea has gone my tiredness is still there all day, every day and I really don’t have any motivation to do anything 😩

@MeganC104 I often get cramping, my midwife and dr said it’s due to everything stretching and growing. Sometimes due to trapped wind/constipation too. Def keep an eye it on it and it there’s any spotting I’d call then x

@LR94 haha! I had to weigh myself for my midwife booking appointment - I was dreading it!
Yes, I have to constantly eat for the nausea too. I haven't actually been sick yet but do heave a lot. I'm so hoping I've escaped the sickness 🤞🏻

@Onethingiwantfor23 if I don’t eat first thing in the morning i will be heaving, it’s horrendous! I went for about a week of being starving but not actually wanting to eat anything, just felt sick. Luckily I haven’t actually been sick either but sometimes i think that might be better than the actual nauseous feeling! Xx

@LR94 I wonder that too and also think I'd shift those 5lbs then too! 😂

Thank you guys. I feel like it is gas/stomach related. I'll keep an eye it. Hopefully I feel better in the morning
