Currently 6+2 think due 23rd October #2
No major symptoms apart from tonight I have extreme restless leg syndrome and insomnia 🙈 xx

@iloveeggs yes I’ve had antid a few times the last time as I’m in the same boat. It’s a pain because if you have any invasive procedures or any bleeds you have to goto the hospital and get this injection 😭 other than that it’s fine

@NSx I'm hoping I’ll have no bleeds or accidents for now 🤞 I’d never heard of the anti d stuff before this so hadn’t a clue!

@iloveeggs I'm also rhesus negative, I'm due for bloods at my 12 week scan to find out baby's blood type so that they will know if I need the injection or not

@iloveeggs congrats on the scan 😍 I have also got a scan on Saturday I’ll be 9w+2 so hoping to see more of a shape

I’m also rhesus neg, at my booking appointment my midwife booked me if for an appointment at 16 weeks to check the baby’s blood type. If they are neg also then don’t need anti d but if positive then will get it

Anyone else struggling hard? The exhaustion here is crippling!!!

@katherine123x yes! I'm having a really hard day today, utterly shattered. It doesn't help that DC is off due to school strike and we're both trying to juggle work and childcare. I just want to go to bed!

@Jealousofchiliheeler oh bless you!! Glad it's not just me!! ... so difficult isn't it. Even if I nap I feel worse!! I can sleep 10 hours and still not function!! Read a lot it eases around 12 weeks!

Just recieved through the post an appointment for a 28 week growth scan, in July!! Haven't even had 12 week scan yet?! Very suprised as when I had to go for bloods there they said they wouldnt book my 20 week scan until my dates are confirmed at 12 weeks. Over organised NHS?! Shocking haha

@katherine123x I'm struggling really bad with the fatigue! Even on holidays I was doing absolutely nothing all day and in bed by 8/9pm

Started a new job when I came back and it's even worse now, I have to go to sleep for a while when I finish every day. My whole body feels so heavy and sore constantly.

I hope it eases soon.

@firstlittlefrazzleontheway @Hopefulx They said they'd do my bloods at some stage too to check but they said I may need to have the anti d anyways until the results so who knows.

@iloveeggs ah congratulations on the new job. Dreadful isn't it. I keep getting headaches from having naps then feeling hydrated but don't want to drink anything. It's such a viscous cycle! 😂

I'm nine weeks and feel just like this.

Plus a cold has now turned into a very bad one - nose is non stop, sore skin and body aching. Fluey. Going to have to take tomorrow off too I think, no way I'll be in a fit state to work.

Not sure if I need to call the midwife to ask them for any advice or whether I just need to rest...

@katherine123x the exhaustion is awful! I’m 8 weeks 1 now - it’s driving me mad I feel I can barely function :/ when im
awake I’m feeling sick, dizzy, headaches and super tired! Xxx

@monsteramunch I'm 9 weeks today! If you have any concern ring them!!
@THISISIT23 it's just no relief 😂😂 waking up as tired as going to bed and trying to function is horrid. Keep making mistakes at work too which is stressing me out.

@katherine123x @monsteramunch We're all feeling the same and also all 9 weeks, maybe it's just all the hormones peaking. But whatever it is I'm not liking it 😂

@katherine123x hopefully over the next couple weeks these tiredness goes away! Keep reading after 12 weeks it gets better so im hoping so xxx

@THISISIT23 I keep reading that too!! So hoping it's correct. Some things indoors are starting to slack which really stresses me too as silly as it is.

@iloveeggs so true. Good to know there's a few of us. In a few weeks time we will be here worried because we aren't tired any more 😂

waking up as tired as going to bed and trying to function is horrid.

This is really well put and what I'm struggling with I think, that sense of no windows of feeling ok / well rested, even when I have actually managed to sleep well.

I'm just trying to keep on telling myself how worth it it all is and focus on the long game.

Massive work event for a few days next week but I've treated myself to a hotel for duration so I don't have to travel mornings and evenings.

Quite looking forward to a solo (plus bean) hotel stay, I love them!

@lighthousechristmas if you don't mind me asking, why were you invited for a growth scan? I had two with my previous pregnancy after the 20 weeks scan because of the flow of blood from the placenta or something like this. But you didn't even have your 12 week scan!

I am tired but in such a different way. In the past I could just read things on my phone when tired while in bed. Now I can't, I just have to sleep from 10pm or earlier!

@iloveeggs hopefully they will monitor us and make sure all is ok. Congrats on the job, that’s amazing!

Is anyone else struggling to regulate their body temp? One minute I’m freezing and the next I’m boiling. Not sure if it’s the pregnancy or if I actually have caught a bug 😩

@monsteramunch good for you for booking the hotel!! Get some rest when you can!!
